Mulgrew is 1st every time then Dack/Bennett are 2nd and 3rd. Mulgrew is our leader and very important to this team. Bennett is fit he starts every game for me. Then Graham and Raya. Lenihan isn't my list.

He was attacking threat against Leeds. I disagree we are light in the centre back and right back positions. Mowbray has said he sees at the minute as wide forward as Graham will be 1st choice and we cant argue against this. We all know he likes a wide forward in his 4-2-3-1 formation. How do you know it will affect his confidence? He wanted Rothwell last January but he didn't get it done but still went back for him in the summer. I expect we do the same with Bauer. You can keep going on the money and other posters can aswell but we have done the deals we did. Cant change the past. Bamford was mention but he isn't a number 9 striker. How is it irrelevant? Manager has told you why he do it. How many other managers would do this? not many. Dack played there 3 times week? we haven't play this week When did Mowbray say he wont be considered in his natural position. I read his comment that at the minute he will play wide if Graham is in the team unless we play 4-4-2 which we could tomorrow if Dack isn't fit.

The Armstrong wide role at Bolton is interested and right. They said he was useless there for them I understand this point and I think a game for the under 23's might have been good for him. to get him scoring and his confidence 4 players for 1 role? Mowbray doesn't play with natural wingers or expect them to stay wide, but he gives them freedom to move inside and allow the full backs to provide the width

nobody sign Maddison tho from a championship club. why not if he is that good? player attitude, wages? cos he is similar type of player to Freeman from QPR who we tried to sign. I think we know who Mowbray 1st choice is for the centre back role but his club wouldn't play ball and instead will lose him on a free or cheap fee. should we be interest in the fee paid as expectation should be the same from every player/signing. I can understand your comments about Mowbray but I think Mowbray wants to ease him in and not put pressure on him and suffer a lack of confident. We have money to spend and I would expect some spent in January if the right players are available. I agree with your comments above and I think we change our style soon and adopt a more passing style Bamford isn't a number 9 type of striker either tho. He either wide forward or a number 10 striker. I think we are short of a target man type of striker looking at it. A like for like replacement for Graham isn't there. Brereton and Armstrong aren't target man strikers and I did say we would have adapt our style if either play the 10 role. I think Brereton will be the striker we used when Mowbray finally move us to a passing style of play as he has discuss in the past. have you actually read why Dack played up front on his own against Leeds with Brereton and Armstrong wide?

He didn't looked hopeless wide against Leeds at all. He was good and played well. Mowbray sees him as a wide striker at the minute with Graham being the main man in the 9 role. Then moving into that role when Graham moves on. easing into the 9 role bit by bit. That's the way I read it. agree on the 1st point. he did play wide in some games under Warburton at Forest. I agree he was good against Leeds. don't understand anyone saying otherwise cos he wasn't poor. I agree on your real downer comment 100%. I always view Brereton has a long term project and he should be given time and patience. don't understand the rush and panic that set in when he doesn't play

I would be playing him wide left/right and stop their best player Luke Freeman from having an Impact. For me, he is the 2nd or 3rd name on the teamsheet every week

Bennett starts. Whether its right back, centre midfielder or on the wing. He is one of our best player and plays with his heart on the sleeve. Must start

Championship 2018-19

I dont think he is on thin ice at all. Dowling knows Moore so maybe he was involved in the decision to appoint him. I dont know. Its took a long time to get this deal over the line. I dont think Cook will be there by end of the season..suspect they appoint their manager and who will run the club for them -

WBA have appointed Luke Dowling as Sporting director and Ian Pearce as head of recruitment https://www.wba.co.uk/news/2018/september/albion-appoint-sporting-and-technical-director/ Dowling worked at Rovers under Appleton. Pearce is a former Rovers player -

"If the specialist thinks it'll be fine, just put a mask on then there's no reason why he won't be able to play next weekend." #Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray on the facial injury sustained by @daviidraya1 at West Brom which rules him out of facing #qpr. #rovers #brfc https://t.co/j4titnWLgd

Look like Lenihan has little chance of playing. Lets hope Mulgrew trains as we need him tomorrow if Graham or Dack arent playing.
-
Yes I am happy with all of our options. Yes I after a centre with more qualities and provide to competition to Mulgrew and Lenihan who are 1st choice. On Bennett, I think he is good at right backs but he got exposed by Sheff United but they are a quality side and thats why they are top of the league. I wouldnt start if he isnt 100%. Dont want to risk a more serious injury. A back up keeper here wouldnt play much with Raya in the team. He did keep a number of clean sheets for his Shrewsbury team and I believe he kept a record of clean sheets

Tony Mowbray confirms Jayson Leutwiler will start in goal for #Rovers tomorrow https://t.co/88bUzhF5KD

at least he is being very responsible and setting an example to other players. why would he want go the traffic every day. I used to get annoyed travelling to Preston every day when working there. M65 is a mess most days and the M55 is even worst . maybe look at the positive that he is being responsible and setting an example to the other players
-
surely if Dack isn't 100% fit then he should be starting and coming off the bench could be the right tactic to used. We do have strength in depth now and we are covered in every department and I don't see the centre back as a problem even I would agree with need another one in. Why do you have worries about Leutwiler come in? can you please explain further? thanks in advance for answering the question

Maybe you stop being a smart a$$ at times and think more about your wind ups you did in the past I did asked Unsall for those names of the strikers and I did get a PM from him about them. Me and him talk a lot through PM's actually. Mercer, earlier in the week I'm ignored his posts to me as I didn't want to get involved in discuss with you. Nope!
-
Just as I thought. They arent. Thank god for that. Change of tact now. No surprise. When you drive throught places and their social media posts. Ive seen Armstrong and Brereton in Whalley recently. Have family there.

Tickets got. All day around Preston

I think Graham and Dack will play but not finish 90 minutes of the game. But if Dack wasnt fit along with Mulgrew and Graham I would go like this Luetwiler Nyambe Lenihan Rodwell Williams Reed Evans Armstrong Palmer Bennett Brereton Subs:- Fisher Bell Travis Conway Rothwell Smallwood Nuttall
-
Dack lives in Manchester I believe judging by his instagram post
-
Exactly. At least Brereton is buying a house and putting some roots down. Good on him Who has said hes on peanuts? No-one. 10k a week is a very decent wage. I agree. Mowbray's signings suggest a change of policy and going for younger players who will develop here. Please keep posting. Ignore these people. Use the ignore function Do you deal with Blackburn Rovers and Waggott/Mowbray? Same as your info Mercer you posted. How many times did you say Rhodes would leave? Lost count ???
-
What other strikers did we try for? PM if you want? Thanks for sharing, please keep posting. Some people might cricitise but at least you are telling the full story.
-
People do talk to Mowbray, the players and Waggott before/after games, at meetings and special events. Thats why I use maybe and a question mark.

Unsall has answered this below. Brereton wages would be sensible. Maybe around 10k. Was Marriott's wages around 20k a week?
