Mowbray always said he would give last season squad a chance. He has been true to his words. Now he will change it and move out players he doesn't think will be good enough. I still remember Mark Hughes time as Rovers manager still now. Did a great job here. But that's was over 10 years ago But Stoke in his last season and during his time at Southampton defensively were poor. was Stoke and Southampton right to sack him? I'm not so sure. Stoke have spend another 50/60 million pounds and gone nowhere. They had 3 managers since his time there Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and Leeds United spent time in league 1 and look how long it took them out of this division despite the size of the budget. Yes we had bad spells during the season but did you not expect us to have these. I always expect mid table finish and the reason why I predicted 14th place at the start of the season. next season league will have Fulham and Huddersfield who I expect both to struggle and will be down to the manager is at Fulham and Huddersfield summer recruitement. one season and that's down to Mowbray and the players. Look how long Sheff Utd, Sheff Wed and Leeds no reason for the poll and even discussing the manager's future.

The same Mark Hughes that couldn't organised a defence at Southampton and Stoke whilst spending millions after millions. seem to forget that the 2 posts above are 100% correct and totally agree with. Great comments guys

didn't Venus lose his wife before Christmas? sadly yet again Ive acknowledge it but I don't keep going on about time after time clogging up the messageboard day after day No I trust Mowbray with his plans for the club short and long term. 7 or 8 new players who will increase quality and competition for places didn't Mowbray's say he had no input in Waggott appointment
-
Mowbray isn't stupid and knows what he needs to get promote. so why are we having a poll about Mowbray at all then? haven't heard you criticise they being a poll like me. wonder why? I don't need to be told to look at the signings Mowbray has made. I remember them all. thanks roversfan99. You keep saying Rodwell is midfield but not at Rovers and under Mowbray. notice you didn't moan about him being in defence for those 3 clean sheets. wonder why? only complained when we lose Cos I trust Mowbray. clearly you don't.

really? We were never going to get top 6 this season. No chance. depends who we buy and where from? I expect 7 or 8 signings this summer. Mowbray knows what needs to happen in terms of recruitment but he wasn't prepare to over pay for players in January. Surely this right way and what the point of getting your 4 or 5 choice for position you want a signing in for./ surely you want your 1st or 2nd choice?
-
Dack, Nyambe, Bell and Travis got 7's which is right. Rodwell, Mulgrew and Williams deserve 3's at best
-
my point the back 4 that got those clean sheets played well and as a partnership. Mulgrew was woeful. why I don't know. Williams shouldn't be ahead of Bell Do you really think he would have a full English on the day of the game? Because you don't have a clue what their diet is like and what they eat
-
voted he should stay. easy vote. right manager for the job. The aim this season for me with mid table finish and that will be achieve IMO. Don't get the complete OTT reaction we get on here. Do people really think we would get top 6 this season? really?
-
Yes I agree our performance was the best Ive seen us played. It call started after being 2 nil up at Brentford. what happen I don't know? our defence seem fine when we winning our 4 games in a row. The partnership of Rodwell and Lenihan seem good and kept 3 clean sheets in a row. Dack was getting annoying and frustrated with the lack of ball to him. Going on about Dack diet is OTT again well what did you expect Mowbray to do 2nd half with 10 men? 1st half he had to change formation cos we playing 4-2-3-1 formation wasn't working. we played better with 10 man?
-
I agree we should show him more respect and we shouldnt be calling for his head. Yes hes a top man
-
Dack wasn't poor today or the problem at all today. He put a right good shift in today. I agree he is not PL quality at this stage.
-
A very cheap one. deffo don't see this happening this season at all Another pointless poll. totally unnecessary poll and we are where I think some of us would be league position wise. Did people really expect Promotion?
-
firstly thanks Tom. I'm unsure on Jokanovic after reading that he didn't have much involvement in the Fulham signings over the last couple of seasons including their summer recruitment. I don't think Hughes would drop down a league. I have my thoughts and many other fans will have there. some that I would agree with and think realistic suggestion and some I wont Yes and I'm happy with Mowbray with him as manager. if People want rid of Mowbray then come up with proper realistic suggestions really, Fry, Shotton and Friend all played over 20 times this season.

Im asking the question, will you answer? If not please state why?
-
Good point. I like him wide right so he can get forward and score. Him and Travis could be the way to go even tho I think Evans has been one of our best players this season
-
Any response to this @Mercer if you going to sack him Mercer can you give me 3 names who you would like to replace him? please be realistic. You can ask you want after
-
I felt Dack was the only player in the 1st half who show any sort of desire or working hard. 2nd half he worked hard. Dack not the problem today
-
I did enjoyed it. Cheer me up at least. No Im very happy with Mowbray in charge.
-
Disagree on the Football mainly being shite. so if you going to sack him Mercer can you give me 3 names who you would like to replace him? please be realistic. You can ask you want after Already been to pick it. Just eating now mercer. Mix starter, Lamb rogan josh with chips, saag aloo and 2 garlic naan breads. Its very good quality, shame Rovers performance today wasn't. I've backed Mowbray completely. I still remember people on here last season saying sack Mowbray for Paul Hurst
-
He played there for Norwich last season

1st half was the worst half of football we played under Mowbray. Everyone was poor 1st half apart from Dack who tried, chase back and tackle. we started 4-2-3-1 with Brereton on right, Dack in 10 role and Armstrong left. after 25 mins Mowbray after we were being outplayed completed, we changed to 3-4-3 formation with a back 3 Rodwell, Mulgrew and Williams, Reed right wing back, Bennett left wing back, Dack and Evans in centre mid. it got us to half time with just being 1 nil down. Mulgrew and Rodwell was pathetic today. ,Mulgrew was poor positional and wouldn't head the ball for some reason. Why I don't know but it caused the Williams sending off which was fair but if he stayed on his feet we don't get him sent off. Evans went Missing 1st half. Going forward we didn't nothing. 2nd half was better but Travis, Nyambe and Bell had a positive impact and should start next game. Reed played better was Travis next to him. Dack, Graham and Armstrong tried up front we got 2 good chances. Graham should have scored and Dack shot took a great save. We need to back to the standard of the WBA and Hull performances. Wish we had Lenihan for next game. we need him back asap Overall, we got what we deserve, nothing. Bad day so far, at least my indian takeaway from Shajan will be very good unlike the football

Rovers to win 3-1 today. Boro missing Flint and Ayala. Big miss for them. Graham to score 2 goals and reach 50 goals for club. I expect/hope Boro drop out of top 6 by end of the season
