  1. Brereton is lacking match fitness and he is still getting use to the fitness levels Mowbray requires of his team and the work rate that the team required. The fee is set and you really think Forest wouldnt have the fee set in stone
  2. My team Raya Bennett Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Rodwell Evans Reed Dack Armstrong Graham Subs Luetwiler Williams Smallwood Conway Palmer Rothwell Brereton
  3. Thanks for sharing Stuart. Very interest story
  4. Dack says Mowbray is the best manager he worked with https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/october/mowbray-the-best-manager-i-have-worked-under/
  5. Correct but yet again Matty has jump the gun. Never seen Miracle. Ive seen of Goal the movie I said it when asked. Maybe read my post instead of trying of point scoring and jumping the gun. ?
  6. I agree we need 2 or 3 signings in January. Wide player, centre back deffo. Think we sign Bauer from Charlton. Would like Burke on loan from Wba or look to sign Leko from Wba. But lets see where we are January time and what funds he get to spend after Mowbray meeting with the owners in November.
  7. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1034316/Tottenham-Spurs-Pochettino-Blackburn-Star-Bradley-Dack/amp?__twitter_impression=true
  8. Deffo top 6 if we strengthen and dont pick injuries to Key Players. Mowbray and players have a togetherness rarely seen at Ewood Park since Mark Hughes/Sam Allardyce days here I agree.
  9. Hardly debating when people posted things about people jobs, private life, etc is it?
  10. my job isn't your business and it like I'm being stalked on here and follow. Mods seriously need to look into this and why posters are posting things on here about people private lives. Surely it time to have rules on here for this pleased to hear you earn more than me. want a medal or something that's what people do on here unsall. it doesn't bother me anyone. feel sorry for these people Sorry to hear about the ban. same posters with the same old boring comments. bashing me is nothing new. no wonder my ignore list is over 30 posters plus.
  11. I have been asking him all week to come down again. He got the buzz today and will be back. price isn't a factor for him. 1st time he been back in years to Rovers since we finish 10th under Sam Allardyce. He fell out of love with football, but a few personal circumstances have change recently and he is a change person now
  12. I agree on the shortlist if the plan was for more attacking football. Hurst did see like the next big thing from lower leagues. Even someone on here suggested him for the Stoke job after Lambert left I cant see them sacking Hurst any time soon tbh. Not really what Evans plans are short or long term for the club but from my view it appears there isn't any leadership from the top. I cant see who they go for if Hurst does go aswell.
  13. Hurst has sold players to bring in his own players and only spent around 40% of funds he brought into the club and bringing in younger players. McCarthy didn't deserve personal abuse he got but he did things back. it was love hate relationship for a while. I do feel McCarthy could have played more attacking football than he did. Ive been impressed by Coleman and the job he has done. I can understand why they went for Hurst but I feel Ipswich need a change of owner before they can move forward
  14. but fans relationship have broken down with McCarthy and Evans. I can understand fans wanting a change of manager and different way of playing haven't they aimed at Evans but I don't know how many games he attend in a season?
  15. not every single Rovers fan who isn't attend at the minute isn't cos of cost as the LT article proved this week. I have suggest a number of things and I am sure the club will do some incentives over the coming months
  16. From what I have read and hear it appears that fans have huge problems with the owner and his lack of investment.
  17. haven't I already suggest different ways to attract fans. oh yes I did.
  18. already explained but sadly you cant move on from 3 years ago and people like you still always have to look back for digs and sly comments
  19. I was of the same thinking off being Rothwell on instead of Bereton if he was to play wide. I think Mowbray might eventually change our style to more of a passing style or he might work on Brereton and develop him into a target man type but at I am unsure which one he will do. Mowbray has 2 or 3 systems we use at the minute and from what I have seen the Players are comfortable with any system or anything Mowbray asked off them
  20. not every single Rovers fan who isn't attend at the minute isn't cos of cost as the LT proved this week Free Parking is available if you can make a small walk, why the council shut the car park next the fox and hounds pub I have no idea. I can understand the cost of travelling to Ewood argument as I am someone who travel up to 40/60 miles per day to my job and back. very rare I buy food or drink in the ground as I tend to spend in businesses on Bolton road or take my own from home. But I can complete understand the points you have made. I was more talking about local people.
  21. wrong Matty, but people can get down and support the team. This team needs it fans right behind them. I wonder how many these fans who cant regardless of cost currently would find the money if we were playing a Premier League football or were in the Premier League. Season tickets can be spread over 8 or 9 months I believe cost wise
  22. I remember that roversfan99 for future reference. no idea what Jim says as he on my ignore list. Maybe its time you remember people do have some posters on ignore for good reasons
  23. Villa won today and its sound like the fans are right behind Smith from game one. Seen the highlights, created chances by Swansea had chances tho today. Preston got a last minute equaliser at Hull. No surprise Bolton and Rotherham. Ipswich lost to QPR at home which I was surprise by. Boro got a 2-1 win last night at Sheffield Wednesday and Derby beat Sheffield United. I am still surprise we are 7th and only 4 points of top. This league is wide open and I don't see us not making playoffs if we can keep this form up and every key players here and fit all season
