  1. Very good goal. Build up good build up play. Palmer good in build up. Impressed by Rothwell and Rodwell so far. Need to tighten up defensively.
  2. Well if you actually look at the time the article was posted just 18 hours ago. Whilst my post was 27 hours ago. I let you work it for yourself Mick??? Maybe check before posted this Bullshit!!! ?
  3. Agreed on Rothwell. 14/1 on Sky bet. Worth a couple of pounds at least
  4. Raya Bennett Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Reed Rodwell Palmer Dack Rothwell Graham
  5. Bennett has played the wing back role under a number of managers like Lambert(Norwich), Cotterill(Bristol City), Mowbray(Blackburn). Bell played the wing back role for Fleetwood before he came here under Rosler. Lenihan, Rodwell(can play centre back), Mulgrew, Williams can all play there and I expect Bauer to sign in January. Dack was marked out of the game by Norwood. Mowbray signings, Rodwell and Brereton will take time to build fitness up and get used to the way we play. Davenport is injured, Armstrong and Reed played, Rothwell and Palmer both on bench. Mowbray wanted Chapman and Pulis blocked it last minute cos he didn't a winger Pulis wouldn't release him until he signed a winger but never did. Centre midfielders subject we have Smallwood, Reed, Evans, Davenport, possibly Rodwell. How is that too many? With Mulgrew back he will be taking corners from the right side so he can in swing them.
  6. great post and I agree 100%. On Wednesday, he was making good runs but we weren't passing to him.
  7. He wanted Chapman back. He like Bennett wide. Why question the signings tho?
  8. Nyambe, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Rodwell and Williams can play the 3 centre backs role. Bennett and Bell has wing backs. Dack can play the role with 2 strikers up front like we did on Wednesday. We have Reed, Smallwood, Evans and Rothwell can play the 2 centre midfielder roles. I wouldnt go 3 at the back for this game. Probably would for Swansea and west Brom games tho.
  9. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16963718.boss-targets-defensive-improvement-to-address-cross-concerns/?ref=mac Mowbray targets defensive improvement from crosses. Also mention we might go 3 at the back.
  10. EXCLUSIVE: Paul Duffen launches £40m bid to buy Hull and return as chairman | @dpcoverdale https://t.co/vx456WuYfS https://t.co/F0G7U2A0yy
  11. Nope. I suggested him for the West Ham manager job in the summer. Good manager in Germany. Very decent CV. i seen him as the manager of FC Ingolstadt 04 on tv and like his style. Has you said Dean Smith ticks all the boxes and IMO should be their 1st choice but I wouldnt be surprise if they appoint some left field choice on the advise of an agent or advisor. Cant see Allardyce coming back into football. McCarthy wont be popular either. Still think they are a big club. Win nothing in years.
  12. Villa should be looking at Ralph Hasenhüttl as an option. Plays good football and could have a similar impact to when Wagner and Nouo came in at Huddersfield and Wolves. It is believe that Mendes is close to the owners aswell so we see who he suggest.
  13. Has Mowbray and Waggott said in the summer that the plan is to consolidate this season and then challenge for promotion this season. Mowbray has talk about building a squad over 3 transfers windows. Which would be this summer one, January transfer window and Summer 2019 window. Waggott has said in the summer if we finish top 10 this season it would an excellent season
  14. Played in a couple of friendlies. Against Hibs and Liverpool
  15. Probably Sako. No idea what he means by term "political nature" tho?
  16. David Moyes new bookies favourite for Villa job. Some Villa fans on twitter not happy at all.
  17. Maybe Mowbray enquire about him earlier in the summer and told not for sale. No idea but maybe someone can asked Mowbray about the transfer at next fans meeting. Wasnt Gallagher available for 8 or 10 mil in summer? One or two of that list I would have wanted here. Can you explain what not right with Davenport signing?
  18. I mention Mackay on here. Moved for 500k to Swansea. Very good player
  19. Mowbray has always said he prefers to work young players with few experience players aswell. Most signings was young players Mowbray has always said he had the money from the Venkys meeting in May. Forest circulated his name the day before deadline day. I think Waghorn was a Mowbray target. But Mowbray chosen for Brereton after that deal didn't happen. wouldn't say it was panic buy at all as Rovers and Mowbray would know all about him
  20. Still plenty of games to play yet. We should be finishing around mid table this season.
  21. Sheffield United are a well drilled side which I said and very good at it. Norwood marked Dack out the game. Basham, Egan and O'Connell marked Graham out of the game. They stopped our key players from players. We tried 3 different formations and tactics, and each time they stop us. Sheffield United are very good and Wilder doing a great job there. We have nothing to fear from those 3 games and every game is tough at this level. But I could see us getting 3 or 4 points from those games.
