Mowbray wanted Chapman but Pulis was Pulis and kept him. in centre midfield we are now strong with Evans, Smallwood, Reed, Davenport(who I looking forward to seeing), Rodwell and also Bennett and Travis. We are very well stock there and its been a weakest for a well. In January I would be looking for 3 signings, A back up keeper, centre back and winger

Yes Refs are poor but lets ignore that fact and lets not try to improve them. They have been poor for a number of years and nobody has done a damn thing about it. No wonder FIFA didn't want our refs are they are poor. On Wingers debate, another one we have all discuss to death, we know Mowbray views on it. When I was growing up players like Wilcox, Ripley, Gillespie, Giggs were wingers who stretch the pitch and kept wide. Modern days its very rare to see this. I have to say Players like Wilson aren't wingers In my opinion. A winger is someone who stay wide and put cross after cross in. Bennett was a winger in young days but has develop into a wide midfielders who does a good job in terms of attacking and defensive. Rothwell is a wide midfielder but not a winger. Mowbray wanted Chapman didn't he but Pulis kept him waiting all summer for him. my team for Sheffield United game is Raya; Bennett, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Bell; Armstrong, Reed, Smallwood, Rothwell; Dack; Graham Haven't we all discuss this all before. Mowbray has explained how he played 4-2-3-1 formation a number of times in detail whether its a Rovers fans forum or BBC Lancashire. why keep going over it. He prefer a Bennett on one wing and Armstrong/Palmer/ Rothwell on the other with Dack and Graham in their roles. At Stoke he went abit more solid with Reed and Bennett wide cos of the 1st half at Derby when we where wide open.

I would target Nicholls from New Zealand. Bat 5 fir us. Then it be Jennings Hameed Davies Livingstone Nicholls. Good batting line up
-
Blimey if thats was a defensive side 1st half with all them chances we created compare to nothing from Forest 1st half. Did Raya even made a save 1st half? Both teams 17 shots at goal. Rovers had 9 on target aswell.

Admitted by who? Armstrong? Stop it from happening? Yes better refs and the FA investing them. With Wembley being sold and 600 mil pounds should be invest in better football factilities around the country, helping smaller clubs with youth academies and improving refs standards and recruiting more. These goals havent come from us being cutting open by the opposite team but from a fluke, a bad wall and ref giving bad penalties decisions.
-
Was a pen. No. Ref cost us today. Villa was bad wall/wrong ref decision. Other one was a fluke at Ipswich. Disagree if you wish no problem
-
What the laughing face for?
-
The 1st one isnt a stone wall. Very soft. Player going down before any touch. Very soft. Mowbray comments back up my point. But if thats a penalty why isnt Dack second half? Like I said before far too many inconsistency again We will get 70 points if we continue our form. Thats rought 6th to 8th place imo.
-
Nothing wrong with the above so either reply to the point or dont bother reply. I aint @$$ about you

The team we currently have remind me so much of the Mark Hughes squad here during his team. The ref gave them a soft Pen, if he hadn't we don't know whether Forest would have scored again. But today they got 2 very soft penalties. The ref against Villa had a soft spot for the poor man Bradley Dack Jack Grealish. He got everything. The huge thing for me, is we aren't going down this season and I feel we will be top 10 this season and make a challenge for top 6. I think we are one of the best squad in this league if not the best in terms of spirit, work rate, toughness and never say attitude.

great post and probably post of the day on here.

Typical Jim. We lost 1 league game all season. And only 5 points off top for a promoted side but people pick holes in it. Instead of focusing on the positives. We have prove we can beat anyone in this league. Didnt I say ref was poor for both sides by making weird and in consisted decisions. I said the standard of refs in this country is embarrassing. Lolley clearly dive it. Pictures and Video confirm this. Without today ref pen decision for Forest we win. Same as Villa game.

I agree Mowbray is doing a brilliant job and such a credit to him for rebuilding this club. Its a shame that the comment is made below by a fan who cannot resist a dig at anyone. This group of players are full of effort, pride, passion, desire and commitment with a never say die attitude. agree of ref standards. embarrassing comment from you about Mowbray. 5 points of top place.

I am very proud of my team today. We were the better team after 25 mins of the game. WE should have 2 or 3 nil up at half time. Graham and Dack have great chances. But second half we started getting our game into gear and took it up a couple of gears and we deserved the lead. Dack and Graham link up so well. Forest deserved credit for the 1st goal and the quickness of their counter attack was good. The ref decisions today was pathetic and how these refs have jobs I don't know. The FA need to improve the standard of referreing now. Its no one wonder we didn't have any ref at the world cup. Wake up and smell the coffee FA. Forest 2 pens weren't for me. First one, the player is already going down and second one was a dive clearly. But the ref couldn't wait to get them. Also how can ref even see their incident as they were 4 or 5 players in the way. But we should have a pen for a foul of Dack but the ref bottled it. But other decisions he made for either team was weird and so in consisted. Reed MOTM for me. was everywhere today.

Its a decent point. I was set to go Newcastle university at 19 years old and if I gone up there Im not sure I would have come back down here to be honest.

Adam Reach scored a great goal for Sheff Wed to put them 1 nil up against Leeds. Bristol City beating Villa 1 nil so far -
Lancashire have released Brown, Kerrigan and Lilley

firstly no need to think or focus on him. all you are doing is bringing an attention to this clown and I cant even bare to write him name on here. of course it happen. still remember it now clear as day. I can remember most of it. But I move on and focus on now and the future under Mowbray and this group of players who give everything for the shirt and the fans. That's what we should all be focusing on instead of thinking or thinking our this utter clown now!

Will the Leeds game be on TV? we don't know, but it is a Boxing game match and I would like to attend. I would probably go with my missus and not mates so we could do some Boxing Day shopping before. Plus I would drive to Leeds but for Bolton I would go on trains then I could drink. I rearranged my shifts around Blackburn Rovers home games yes. I would pack my job in and get another job that would allow me to watch Rovers home games. But at the minute I'm currently do have to worry about it but things could change soon. Ive explained my reasons why I not going Bolton away as no trains, game on tv and ticket price. Plus it would allow me to attend another game that isn't on TV. No trains is a huge problem aswell as a group of lads we want to have all day of drinking and not a couple of drive to the game. I love attending home games and don't want to miss one at all. I do have empathy for the Darwen end closing for home fans but for me its sense to do this. Me and my mates have been saying it for a few years now that should happen. -

Chaddy doesn't priorities his money to spend on Rovers so don't talk shite pal. This month I will be buying Christmas presents for family I haven't bought for yet and Its the Missus on Wednesday so Ive bought her presents. So It will mean I miss out on going West Brom away but that's life. My priorities are family first every time. Yes I do go to every home league games and miss one for many many years pal. I never understood why people wanted to sit there in Darwen end. I wouldn't be in favour of unreserved seating as I have my seat in Blackburn end for many years and enjoy the people around me and the discussion. Plus the great view I get every single game. I am talking about my opinions not others. That's why I posted my opinions not everyone opinions that's why we have messageboards. I do pick and chose my away games as I cannot afford it. I try to do 5 this season. Stoke away, Preston away will be one, hopefully Leeds away but depends on whether I'm working that night or have a new job by then, then 2 more in 2019. -
Sky has just be bought out by some America company but I haven't follow the story closer tbh. If you want to watch Sports or movies or your favourite tv shows then you need Sky/Sky Sports. Netflix or Amazon. I have all 3 and all the family watched them. I loved watching football every week, Watching England at cricket, NFL and watching golf then Sky Sports is must. Why would I cancel my subscription and not be able watch them?

extra staff will be on match days who might only work part time or just match days. When I go in on non match days to the club shop its around 3 or 4 staffs tops but match days its about 7 or 8 staff. I wonder how many people decide on a match day make a decision to attend the game? most of those groups you mention don't want to attend or cant for number of reasons. if the game wasn't on Sky Sports then I would either gone to the game with mates or took my missus and step daughter and drive to the game. I thoughtly enjoyed going to Stoke and watching the game and talking to different Rovers fans. great day out I agree with the 1st paragraph. I think its a good idea of the membership and the extra benefits plus the discount on items from the club shop from being a season ticket holder. I am interested in going to the training ground and watching 1st team training. -

I think most/some clubs have these Subcharge these days on the day sales. what about have special offers for games during a month. so if we had 3 home games in month then you can attend all 3 for a special price of 45 pounds. Or if a adult buy a ticket for one game then a child under 12's goes for 1 pound to game or a season tickets for just weekend home games for people who cant attend midweek games due to work or family commitments. what do you think Matty? I don't mind early kick offs games cos it allows me and the family to do things after. I wanted to the Bolton game with mates but the cost and lack of trains means its a no for me. so it was nice meal and beers at home with missus and mate and his missus
