Good that he has recongised that the current squad needs improving and willing to be ruthless to make the changes needed. did he say how many signings he wanted in the summer overall? Good that he talked about Brereton and it was his signing and not from someone else as been mention on here. Didn't Mowbray signed Jonas Olsson for WBA when he was there? So did we play long ball against Hull or Reading? No we didnt. Against Hull we played just over 21% and against Reading we played below 20%. Now against some other sides is around 25% or slightly below. Thats stats will including our switch of play between one wing and another. So that stats arent right either. Look at the stats Ive provided. less than 20% of long passes against Reading and just over 20% against Hull. But around 25% against the 2 teams I provided. I would say we play better when we play around 20% of long passes in games looking at those stats. Not sure on the whoscored.com stats as how and who is compelling those stats? A European network structure can tell time. Yes this process could be speeding up by hiring scouts based in France or Germany, etc. I think we should be looking in Austria and Belgium for players. I think you are 100% correct. Similar to the Rothwell deal this summer You want competition not a pecking order. no need for 2 new centre backs when we got Mulgrew and Lenihan plus if Rodwell signs. Like I've been telling you I fully expect Bauer to sign. (not my suggestion before you jump in and have a go)

We play alot of switch of play from one flank to another. on Sunday we played 92 long passes out of 401 passes in the game against Reading we played 76 long passes out of 512 passes in the game against Bristol City we played 93 long passes out of 370 passes in the game against Hull City we played 93 long passes out of 465 passes in the game. Hardly a long passing team are we?
