Eustace…he gone…*official*

Not defending the club but offering my opinion instead of following the thread by certain people on here. Suhail? what a totally and utter laughable and pointless comment. That just was Bet Victor and no other betting companies are offering any odds. -

was tongue in cheek comment but Jim's record of watching us and losing is extremely poor. Lets hope he not going today. exactly, we are still 6th after yesterday that's your opinon that the window was shite but you don't know that until we see them play and whether they can hit the ground running. How about some positive thinking and looking that we have been there all season around top 6 and the brilliant job that Eustace and players have done since the summer. PMA Yet are any of Coventry, Norwich, Sheff Wednesday Bristol City and QPR above us in the league despite how recent poor form? Boro have sold their goalscorer and not permanent replace him. Just with a short term loan. You would be front of the queue kicking off over not signing a permanent replacement. Yes Mowbray has got Armstrong in and it a good signing for them. No problem is saying this -

Rovers should be offering Eustace a new 3 year contract with backing to sign some quality signings in the summer and given new long term contracts to Travis, Tronstad, Hyam, Brittain. I wonder if Eustace is trying to force Rovers's hand into offering a new contract. A lot of signings in the January will be players moving on due to lack of playing time unless you have money like Sheffield United did with Cannon and loan signing of BBD. Unless you are spend money on a goalscorer like BTA(who must on here didn't want here) for example then you are looking either in the foreign market or the loan market. Dennis is someone who I mentioned on here weeks as possible target. So I happy with that signing and probably the best we could have got in. I don't think Boro had a brilliant window like yourself you loved the signing of Iheanacho on loan. They lost their goalscorer and didn't spend a penny on permanent signing. Just imagine if we had done that you would the front of the queue complaining and slamming your own club! That's your opinion that the window was shite on paper but we don't know whether it was good or bad window until we see it played out on the pitch. Yes I would have liked to see us signed different players considering how much we spent on Karbgo this window where we in the summer we could have signed Dembele or Millar for similar fee and we know they are know this league. I said during the summer window, we should have signed either Dembele or Millar so my opinion hasn't changed. I would have maybe choose different players like who we signed Keeper wise for example or would I have signed Ohashi or Beck? no cos I didn't know who they were but I am very happy we did cos both have been quality signings and I will used you famous line "I'm not a scout". I'm sure if we were in charge of Rovers recruitment we would all signed different players and used the budget differently. That's how football is Yes I wanted BTA who I rated in this window but we didn't. Unless you are willing to invest in quality signings and look at long term aswell as short term. I never wanted Schlupp but I was willing to back what Eustace wanted cos I could see the benefits of signing him. I think if you are just looking short term and the loan market then Dennis and Woodrow are probably the best we could get in considering what we spend wages wise. Should -

I don't know is the honest answer, but we should have spent some money in the summer and why we didn't sign De Lange for less than £2m, or Millar who signed for Hull for 1.5m or Dembele for less 1m. We aren't expect us to sign players for 5m but spending a couple of millions pounds to improve the quality of the squad. -

we were linked with Thomas-Asante and Bamford who most of this board didn't want or rated. I gave my view on which was I think we had a decent window overall. very happy with Dennis signing. Woodrow, the more I think, I can see why we make that signing and gives us more attacking options. With Rovers having Eustace as head coach and our league position has help us signed these 2 players. Sanderson, I think is a decent signing. Kargbo, I don't know enough about his talent and ability to comment but look forward to seeing him soon in a Rovers shirt.. Forshaw is ok squad player and replacement for Baker. Its a short term signing. Ribeiro. I don't know anything about him. Who says he wants out? are we certain of this? what was the budget? Isn't Sanderson experience at this level and someone who Eustace wanted given he was his signing at Birmingham and his captain there? Aren't Dennis and Woodrow experience players? How much had Bamford who was mentioned to be Eustace's target? -

and how many board meetings do you really think there is in a regular month? 1 or 2 or if fact none and just a tick box exercise? yes we do agree on something I understand but I think their league position will be deciding factor IMO -

second that, with his appalling track record of us losing, you thought he would stop going, What a stupid question, I am STH for plenty of years Jim now. Over 25 years now. Plus some away games every season yet we are 6th tonight. -

6th in the league currently suggested there is a chance of promotion but you wrote our chances off already, I WONT do that with Eustace and this set of players. Lets hope their make you eat your words -

I don't see our signings of Dennis, Woodrow and Karbgo has a betrayal of Eustace and this team at all. Yes we might have wanted to spend money on 2 or 3 quality players and put them on long term contracts but we didn't choose that path. Board? Pasha runs the club and he is the main person here. What do the Rovers board actually do and who is on this board? Already mentioned the contracts problems last week and I even mentioned months ago that we should be offering Eustace a new contract and I didn't see you support my point then. who says he is getting a pay rise if he moves to Derby? -

Would he given a chance of promotion to come and try to keep us up? I don't think that is likely at all -

Cos we have a very good chance of top 6 given we are in the playoff place currently and we have to hope our new signings can hit the ground running and we can get a playoff place. -

I would be very surprised if Eustace left for Derby even if he isn't happy about certain issues at Rovers given the different situations both clubs are in. Rovers challenging for playoffs place and Derby relegation candidates. Also Derby don't have much money available either. If I was Derby I would be targeting Richard Wellens from Leyton Orient, Neil Harris and Des Buckingham. -

ok thanks for explained where that come. no need for the last bit is there? ok fair enough you could have signed players early but that's required spending some bloody money which is what we should have done this window and the past summer given what we taken from players sales. That is very understandable concern and a fair one We should have signed Baker on a permanent deal in the summer not a loan on Karbgo, he looks to have plenty of pace but we signed for around £1m, no criticism of him as player but Rovers couldn't have signed Dembele or Millar instead. on Dennis, I like that signing but could Rovers have not make the bid early valid concern and I agree. There is not one signing on 4 year contract and that is concern of myself. Same as players like Hyam, Brittain, Travis and Tronstad not having their contract renew and even talks. -
it also breaks my heart seeing him so ill but I will always remember him for the rest of my life.

I said a few months back that Rovers should be offering Eustace a new contract and @Eddie disagree with me. Wonder if you change your mind. We should be offering him a new contract asap as well as senior players at Rovers in my opinion. agree -

where are these question marks over Dennis's attitude coming from? We needed a left back cos Pickering is injured and Beck is looking tired and shattered every game, so do we not sign a left back in this window? And Can I asked how many signings you would have made and which positions they were?
