  1. Good to see England's full backs getting forward and a left footed at left back. cos that part of his game and he drags a defender with him allowing Bellingham and Rashford to run in behind. I would personally started Rogers and Gordon instead of Rashford and Foden.
  2. No idea to be honest. They were just initial thoughts based on Jackson's 2 articles and his podcast. I haven't given up this season on a playoff place actually
  3. Everyone was praising Rovers sign ACD. Sadly never hits the everyone thought he would. Apart from the Luton game never been convinced by him. It's is his first loan spell and first team football so expectations was too high
  4. Correct but was being 9th with Watford sackable offence really? Has Cleverley done better there? He played more possession based football at Watford but he still had a target man in his squad. I remember when Rajovic and Healey scored for Watford at Ewood and we lose. Also had Wahlstedt in goal
  5. You enjoyed asking me questions about my opinions but when vice versa happened you just ignored it. So if you this to happen so not show the same level of respect and dignity to answer my questions. So the ball is in your court RF99
  6. I expected Dolan to go. Probably Derby. I would re-sign Batth and Weimann. Forshaw I wouldn't re-sign.. Wouldnt sign any loan players permanently. Ribeiro I'm undecided on. Poor the last 3 games. Pears need selling. Toth either sell or loan.. Hyam, might be tempted to sell if the right offer there. incomings A quality number 1 keeper is the main priority for me. Plus a number 2 keeper. Need someone who command the box, good communicate and good reflexes. Pacey right winger. centre midfielder x2 A centre back if Hyam or Carter sold. Striker with pace. Left back if Ribeiro isn't re-sign. Would use JRC as right wide player not a right back for me. Brittain then Duru as our right backs option
  7. The ismael's article today by Elliott Jackson were to a question about Summer transfers, contracts renewals. This was done pre match Cardiff conference when EJ wanted content for this week When he talking about more possession based, I dont think its will like JDT but mixed style between Eustace and JDT. Do we need to created more chances? Of course we do. When we go behind do we really look like getting back into the game and coming from behind? Rarely. Do we need pace and creativity in the team? Yes we do. Is our record over the last 4 years against promotion teams away good enough? It's fecking appalling. We need a number of quality signings over the summer.
  8. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25022883.blackburn-summer-transfer-clue-ismael-sets-clear-vision/ Sound like Hedges and Hyam could move on. Also going back to possession based team
  9. Yes it has changed from 20 years ago to now. Plus I have changed. Got a missus now and different type of lifestyle from free and single I remember going out on Saturday dinner time watching all the football and few beers and food then straight out on a night out till 4am Sunday morning then home with kebab or pizza
  10. Yes I do. Do I think Eustace was approached before JDT left? Yes I do Do I think Eustace was approached by Derby before Warne was sacked? Yes I do. Do I think Ismael was approached by us before Eustace left? No I dont
  11. When was this? He wasn't head coach but number 2 there to McClaren and Warburton. Rising star? He has been head coach at 4 clubs for 4 and half years. 2 years at Kidderminster, 16 months at Birmingham, 12months here and a month at Derby. That's cos he isnt rising star but a head coach with experience in the championship with 3 clubs, Beskitas in Turkey and LASK in Austria.
  12. Not at all, but using what has been reported by the media. Yes I know you dont Utter rubbish. Struber was playing a very different style to Ismael. It's interesting the length you are to dislike Ismael 🤔 For us? If so fair point. Jackson got that story.. But the point still stands not popular with everyone
  13. I think you are cheeky asking me questions cos when I have asked yourself questions directly you have ignored them regarding why Edwards is downgraded on Eustace or recruitment structure and how we do it or even what to do with the ball in the final third when the forward pass isn't on. Nope. So is saying Rob Edwards is downgraded on Eustace, when asked why you dont answer. Wonder why.. No mocking but I asked you why is Edwards downgraded on Eustace. You are acting like Eustace is the best head coach in the world but even this season we lost to Rooney's Plymouth, Hull, Coventry under Robins and Stoke under Pelach..all of them were towards the bottom of the league. On your Ismael point, his CV isn't has bad as others say he is..its been 4 games and people did the same last season under Eustace. I said at the start of search for new head coach, I expected us to have Ismael and Wagner on the shortlist. You didn't I guess. Other people on my shortlist would have been Gary O'Neil, Rob Edwards, Damien Duff, Raphael Wicky, Philippe Montanier and Danny Cowley. On your concerns or criticism point is wrong. I posted the other day, about Ismael tactics and Formation when he brought on Woodrow and Cantwell and what the tactical plan, cos I didn't get it one bit
  14. The Derby job wasn't available when the transfer window were closing From what was reported, Rovers had loads of applicants, they compiled a short list of a number to do zoom interviews, then they went to London to meet some candidates(before Swansea game). Then after Swansea we moved for Ismael as the next head coach and he was appointed
  15. The final process only started after the Swansea game in which we were battered them. You don't have any inside info either but I do know what was reported in the media and Ismael being the choice of Rovers head coach No biased there but here is his actually record. Playoffs with Barnsley. Sacked by WBA in the playoffs and sacked by Watford when 9th. His record ain't that bad and if anything decent enough. Really? Strong rumour from where? Social media?. Quite of alot of people never took to JDT and his style aswell.
  16. Promotion is promotion tho. Edwards has done it twice yet Eustace hasn't but RF99 says it downgrade. That's the bit I'm questioning which it can't be can it. Mark Hughes was a very good manager here but after the Southampton job he couldn't get a job anywhere and he ended up at Bradford. I remember quite a lot of people writing Eustace off on here after 4 games. Ismael record in the championship, Barnsley playoffs, Wba in playoffs when sacked and 9th when sacked at Watford. His CV aren't half as bad as people on here make out.
  17. Our country night life has gone now. 20 years it used to be great night out in most places, now it ain't worth it or too expensive or pubs that have closed down
  18. I know the situation, as I said earlier I live near the stadium and everything. Other family members live closer to the stadium. None bothered by it. A motion has been put for the next council meeting “Accrington Stanley is the lifeblood of our town. We call upon the Council to provide a grant of £286,000 to the club from the General Reserves Fund, to assist in installing soundproofing within their venues.” Acccrington Stanley is our towns football club and the venue is a place many love and enjoy. A solution is needed and it’s one that we want to deliver, working with the controlling group. This isn’t about politics and we hope that this solution will move both the Council and the Club forward towards a positive relationship. Across many schemes to regenerate and rejuvenate our local area, the Council comes together with the private sector to create lasting change. We, as a Conservative Group, believe this to be a model that works in creating longer term prosperity and opportunity for all our residents. Many present and past examples exist. It was just a few days ago that Manchester United unveiled its proposals to build a new ground, and in doing so it requested public funding which was responded to positively by the Government. With that in mind, we are urging Hyndburn Council to provide a one-off package of support to Accrington Stanley Football Club, which alongside the huge multi-million investment that the club has already put in to the town, will protect Wham Stadium as one of our vital assets. We raise money from Council Tax to spend in the best interests of residents. It has always been clear to us the importance the Club holds in the Borough and the strength of feeling from residents. Our proposal is in recognition of the strong partnership the Council should have with the Club. It doesn’t matter what’s happened beforehand. It’s about how move forward, working, investing together. This will provide a solution and allow the club to re-open and succeed.
  19. We lost to Hull at home whenr Plymouth with Rooney in charge away or Coventry away being our first lost of the season or Stoke at home?. All near bottom of the league when we played them, so why that? Player mentality or performance or Eustace team selection or tactics?
  20. Edwards has 2 promotions on his CV so how would he actually been a downgrade as @roversfan99has said on Eustace. I actually he was upgrade but I doubts cos this season, his team has nosedive and his Luton team were the worst team I've seen at Ewood. Do I think he wanted to come? Not for me and I've read he is still paid his Luton salary
  21. I know all this thanks. But MP's and councillors have been to Stanley many times. Couple of people who lived next to dont want them to used function room cos of the noise. Holt is trying to grow the club and improve the income of the club. Plus help grow the local economy and employ people. That's should be important here. Which Rovers would do this and grow the off the field income
  22. Eustace only left 10 days after the transfer window closed on 13th Feb Swansea game was on 22th February. The transfer window shut on the 3rd of Feb.
