  1. yes we all know what your view is on Schlupp. I don't think anyone has forgotten this. So if Eustace wants Schlupp, should we ignore what he wants or not? Should we not sign a striker because he is squad man at his current club?
  2. Eustace wants experience championship players as he has said in interviews, should we ignore what he wants? Hasn't Batth been one of best players this season and for savvy, low money, investments, its a good job we signed Tronstad and Ohashi, Hyam and Brittain than thanks for sharing. Eustace is right to go to Gestede about new players wanting in as soon as possible. Rudy is the head of football operations so will run the recruitment side of the footballing operation, why wouldn't he not? Does Waggott really need to be involve?
  3. Why shouldn't they decide given they are the owners. Just for clarity, so if you would full autonomy to the director of Football and Head coach to sign who they wanted without yourself or CEO saying no? No. Cos Mowbray ballsed it up by not using Giles proper, not willing to change tactics and formation sooner, playing Bradley Johnson as a false 9 FFS. If you are selling your centre midfielder who partner Travis for most of the season then you replace and what you said that Dembele and Wallace was his targets so how does that replace a key player Rothwell moved on that summer to Bournemouth but now is back in championship again and maybe he should have stayed here and sign that new contract hindsight is wonderful thing is it and its not about the owners but what was right for us and selling him to the team we were challenging for second place would have been ill-advised, stupid and f**king dumb move.
  4. Owners have told them what is available and Gestede, Owen and Eustace have to find the best way to bring in what Eustace wants this window Yes I think you have made your feelings very clear on Schlupp Yes we all like money to be spent in the summer more like I would have like Dembele coming in and for us to go for Tommy Conway when he was leaving Bristol City before he joined Boro or go for Jay Stansfield from Fulham who went to Birmingham for record money in league 1 or Brandon Thomas Asante who joined Coventry from WBA. But we did. similar in this window, I would like us to go and secure Poku from Peterborough now. I would like us to buy a striker now. Sam Surridge from Nashvilla or Riis from PNE now, but I'm not the owner or work at Rovers(sadly) I will name 4 players who have championship experience who we could sign on loan or cheap fee deal, Forest striker Dennis, Riis From PNE, Frey at QPR and Brewster at Sheffield United But we are. We can say otherwise but they don't want to. So we have deal with the current decision made by the club and the circumstances of it
  5. If you have nothing to show that they don't then let's go with what has been said. I think Schlupp would be reasonable signing, cover 2 or 3 positions, experience, played in the championship before. cos of Pickering being out till March at least, so how do you not understand that versatility is needed in a playing squad. All depends how many players we can sign within the budget. The way you talk you would 3 deep every position and a budget that be over budget I think Schlupp can add some thing to the squad for the reason above.
  6. really enjoyed the Fulham and Ipswich game. 2 good teams going head to toe. 3 penalties in the game
  7. so you had no problem selling a key player to top 2 rival and neither of those players were direct replacements for Rothwell. Which I find that Mowbray want to replace like for like of course they should. You don't sell one of your key players to your promotion/top 2 rival for FFS
  8. Very much well deserved I don't see them making the top 2. I think Sheffield United and Leeds for me. Burnley lack that proper number 9 and if Barnes is the best they can do as striker signing. woah
  9. Who were these assets Mowbray wanted to sign? Also it is wise to sell Rothwell to a team who we were challenging for second place at the time?
  10. Schlupp is wide player or wing back. Not centre midfielder by trade even tho he has played there. I would take Schlupp given he can played 2/3 positions.
  11. Cos that the decision of the club owners who are looking to limit their own money being put into the club at this stage. Its appears that at the minute. I haven't said either. I said what I would do with the money we think is available. I would like to make permanent striker signing and possibly Poku depending when he will be back
  12. I wonder how long Dyche has left at Everton.. Wouldn't surprise me if Moyes got the job.
  13. Raphael Wicky now odds on favourite for the job. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/west-brom-new-manager-wicky-30712755
  14. that is from Nicko has said as I said earlier
  15. Maybe Baker might be made permanent transfer and as Nicko says one might be permanent signing but depends on wages and fee involved Here is a couple of questions, 1, what would the RF99 plan if you were in Gestede job in terms of budget to buy or loan players? 2. If Eustace said to you as Head of football operations role, that Schlupp is the one he wants, would you refuse him that? 3. how much would you spent on January and who would you sign? Fairly questions to answer here
  16. Eustace, Gestede and Owen all agree on Schlupp and give Schlupp can play left back and left wing given us that versatile we need. This signings make sense to me. Pickering our till March and we need another left back. so how is what we need? Schlupp can take people on still on like he did last season against City twice.
  17. I believe we get the money from Palace in 3 instalments and I think Rovers have/will do used it to cover the running cost of the club. I would have like money to be spent from the money we have received in the last 12 months like this window on a striker who I would like as permanent. Nicko is saying today that it was loan striker in. He is saying we have money for 3 loans on decent wages. I do whether who this loan striker will be. Cannon doesn't look likely
  18. The WBA owner tweeted this last night, Maybe an appointment is close. I expect someone like Igor Tudor or overseas coach there
  19. Gabo on bench for Fulham today. Nicko is saying that Schlupp is the priority at the minute. Eustace, Gestede and Owen all agree on this. He also saying the striker signing will be loan at the minute. Eustace wants 2 or 3 signings. That's what he has said. Schlupp is a target at the minute and he can play left back and left winger. Then we need a striker and centre back then
  20. Do you know who will be attending from the club side?.
  21. Fair point. I was just telling to keep simple tbh
  22. I agree. It's would great to spend some of the money on striker who would get us £10m. We've been hit with injuries to key players like Ohashi, Travis, Carter, Pickering
  23. We always needed to find 20m in the FFP 3 years cycle. We done this. So we clear for 18 months so let's invest that money now to get promotion under Eustace.
