  1. Who is benchmark for Gueye and Ohashi to be judge by? Aren’t we Championship joint top scores? Defensively we are much stronger with Travis and Tronstad protecting the back 4 but we don't get hit on the counter either. Why isn't Hedges a starter for you?
  2. Eustace will start him. I would have started him if this was weekend game. Think Cozier-Duberry's pace on the counter is needed
  3. who is the benchmark then? I don't see JRC playing there ahead of Buckley or Baker in centre midfield. Buckley will play more when we need to take the game to opposition and need to be more creatively in the middle and final third
  4. I think 4k walk on fans is a good return considering the finances involved, kick off time, also factoring in the opposition I would imagine, its a team effort from John Park(with a range of contacts all over), Gestede(will know people in France, Belgium, etc), Owen(will know a range of different people), then Eustace plus any other scouts we hired during the summer I think they are some great points you make here and I think your point on Hedges moving to left back being a masterstroke by Eustace is a very good valid point
  5. my team Pears Carter Batth Hyam Pickering Travis Tronstad Cozier-Duberry Dolan Weimann Gueye Subs:- Toth McFadzean Hedges, JRC Buckley Baker Cantwell Ohashi Sigurdsson
  6. Speaking to one of best friend who is big Blackpool fan tell me Bruce has changed to 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 depending on team selection. Bruce has played CJ Hamilton on the left wing from when he was playing right wing back under Critchley in 3-5-2 formation. He also says it nothing but playing players in the right positions and keeping it simple. He went to Charlton and says it was the best away days he had in years. On the strikers, They have 4 strikers there. Rhodes has just started yesterday out of the last 4 games whilst Kyle Joseph has started every game At every level its about keeping simple and playing your players in their correct position, which some managers/head coach over fixation on style of play over results. Look at the formation, they were playing before Bruce took over, they were playing 3-5-2 formation, but Bruce has look at the squad and has thought 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 formation is the best to play with the squad he has, yesterday on the radio he said about being in a couple of more wide players in January.
  7. Good solid win. Sending off changed the game but second half, Eustace bringing on Cantwell was game changer. It lifted the crowd also. Well done on Travis for shooting for end of the box and Cantwell's pass for Batth's header goal was sublime 4 home wins in 4 games this season and unbeaten this season. 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games Dolan my man of the Match
  8. Do you go and speak with We Are The Rovers chairman Mike Graham pre game who was outside the Blackburn End?
  9. Surprised Gueye isn't starting.
  10. Think Edwards need to change formation to get them going.
  11. Much deserved win for Plymouth and Rooney. Luton look awful at the minute and I'm surprised by their start of the season cos they don't look like a team.
  12. All depends who is fit and we have 3 games this week. could be indication that Gueye and Ohashi both started with Tyjon/Leonard on the bench?
  13. Wouldn't surprised me if older fans are using them sometimes when their kids aren't going. PNE had a similar problems last season or before. You used to have show ID when purhasing younger Season tickets like I had to when my daughter was STH back in 19/20 season I think we get round 13k on tomorrow going for 3-0 Rovers win with a goal in the first 5 mins
  14. Vote delay suggests Man City legal victory over Premier League (thetimes.com)
  15. given Eustace's pre match interviews and comments, my team would be Pears Carter Batth Hyam Pickering Travis Tronstad Dolan Ohashi Hedges Gueye
  16. I said for me whilst acknowledging for others it isn't as simple that and the club need to address this issue next time, maybe get them on sell in March to July/August the same price or make the Riverside stand cheaper for people
  17. It's a fair point for some people who can't afford whilst I think just over £15 per match to watch Rovers 23 times is cheap from my opinion whilst showing empathy towards other people who can't commit to a ST for financial, family or work reasons
  18. Nowhere did I right but its seems to happen at other clubs. That's what Waggott and Suhail are here to run the club and any major decisions need to be decided by one of the owners/or more. Of course they are focus on domestic businesses cos that's how they make their money. No money to be made in football. Why they are still here would be my first question to them It should have longer period of sale at the cheaper price. Should whether we make signings early in the summer really have an impact on season tickets..
  19. Surely his team selection will be based on form, tactics depending who the full backs, whether we play 2 strikers or not and the opposition not like yourself who seems to be suggesting a pecking order system.. Dolan started playing for Rovers as right winger. Disagree on Hedges
  20. Why? Given how Eustace plays, those 2 would give us that balance on the pitch
  21. It was red card according to the rules I think it was very good feature It was my opinion on Rodri's injury changed the game. No idea what was discussed post game as I didn't watch it for once.
  22. How much does that cost over a season? It's seem it happens everywhere to get fans to buy tickets early instead of late in the summer/just before the season starts. https://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/2024/may/20/2024-25-season-tickets-on-sale-now-/ https://wiganathletic.com/news/2024/april/16/2024-25-season-ticket-prices-revealed-at-supporters-groups-presentation/ I'm not saying right BTW but it's what clubs is fans buying early in the summer. If that was the case we would keep ownership of it.
  23. why is that such a massive thing for you? They budget for 10,000 ST sales. the under 12's were massive up and That is the future of our fan base. We have sold 21 more season ticket than last season. They should have held the prices for at least another month at least at £349 Do we know how much Cantwell and Toth cost Rovers?
