  1. Alan Nixon posts in the last couple of days suggestion signings are the way. he knows alot more than we do
  2. No Abbey, I would like new owners and new commercial driven CEO who can improve the club commercial, marketing, sponsorship wise as soon as possible, but I am also extremely cautious about new owner and what type of owner we get after these. Yes we might get a new owner who can be great and CEO who understand the fanbase, local area and what Rovers means to the fans, but it also be the other way. I can't predict who would be interest in the club if it was sale could you?
  3. no links on social media linking Szmodics with a transfer away. Why are people suggesting Ipswich when they have Chaplin as their number 10? Mercer, no one is forcing you to read this thread. Rovers and JDT needs signings in this window
  4. I am still attending the game but I was hoping we could get a good attendance for the game and get through to the next round.
  5. No Abbey, Its what the trust want to do as I read the comments from board members that their aim, so your post is just plain wrong
  6. very disappointed by this game being moved to Monday night. I think its awful decision by BBC radio Wales moving the game to Monday. Saturday dinner time kick off or even Sunday afternoon at 2pm would be much better if they wanted to cover it. I would have prefer the game at 3pm Saturday overall
  7. aren't We Are Rovers(Rovers trust) engaged with Steve Waggott over a range of issues including trying to gain contact with the owners? so surely it would be counter productive to call for Steve Waggott to go when you want a number of things from him?
  8. Thanks for detailed report on the game @arbitroand @Parsonblue It's disappointing how poor Ennis was in the game. Ennis missed another penalty. Was it poor taker or good save their keeper?
  9. embarrassing there, showing your true colours here again. down to the players to do their jobs on the pitch
  10. Didn't he play on the right wing?
  11. Didn't take you long to mention Coyle again did it? Coyle was a clown 🤡 simple as. It's down to the players to not make mistakes, mark correctly and catch the ball.
  12. GB took the blame publicly but behind the scenes he changed a number of things to make sure it won't happen again. He explained what he changed during the summer. The writing was on wall about Travis wanted to leave was there to see, not playing in midfielder, not starting games and doesn't fit how JDT wants to play. This is 12 months old and still going on about it. Move on.
  13. doesn't mean we would desperate tho does it? Wharton is worth more £20m right now
  14. I have said who is responsible for Lewis O'Brien failed transfer and it ain't GB. JH, you know the reasons for this season budget cut in the wages budget. It has been explained to you several times but time after time you won't/can't accept it. The wage budget in the GB/JDT 1st season was the same and they were around 5 million transfer budget but this season at the start of the season, we had the same wage budget but any transfer funds had to be self generated by GB and JDT. Then during the Summer the Indian government tax authorities became a thing and Venkys had to reduce the money they could put into the club so the wage budget was cut by 20% and £4m had to generate to help the club. Each couple of months Venkys had to go their high court to apply for them to sent money over to fund the club for a couple of months
  15. lets hope so Tronstad plays our the deep midfielder with Wharton higher up.
  16. similar to alot of championship and football league clubs who rely on players sales to fund the losses. Boro for one Cos Newcastle are having problems signings players due to FFP rules in the PL. That's the point. FFP rules is at all levels now
  17. FFP rules are still there and Rovers still make more losses than the owners can fund due to the rules so sales are needed. No the budget was cut this season by 20% in terms of the wage budget
  18. he took the blame but it was football administration problem and we all know who that was. it's over 17 months ago since I met Waggott, since then I have had zero contact with him.
  19. Players making far too mistakes, players out of form, can't defend simple balls into our box from crosses, set pieces Look at the transfer thread. All answers there I have no problem with Glen Mullan so I don't see why they would be war of words.
  20. for me, we need a commercial driven and experience CEO who has delivered already in a previous role.
  21. The playing style isn't the problem for me, Its about the players getting back to form, players making the correct decisions and the squad depth being there. Mercer, I have explained my thoughts on Szmodics and I don't see going anywhere in this window or next. Who is bid for him? Good to hear. Solid player with championship experience. Still need a good striker and pacey right winger at least in this window How would be desperate for the money? All clubs have to work to FFP whether in the Premier league or Football league. Look at Newcastle as a prime example who need to strengthen their squad this window but can't of PL FFP rules.
  22. Wharton, Sigurdsson and Szmodics do. Just need a striker who does
  23. Sell Adam Wharton for 20m plus Charlton?
