Well if he goes City, he won't be playing that role there. Rodri and Nico play there. He will play a different role.
-
Wharton went for £18m plus £4m in add ons. Also a 15% sell on clause on profit so that would be around £7-10M mark so overall we got between £25m to £30m.

Massive F1 fan. Watched this GP live. Massive George Russell fan.

I reckon the prices will be £299-349 for season 25-26 for adults. Kids under £23. Students and over 65 will be £219-249 I could well wrong but hopefully not -
says who? you? based on what? your opinion? I have explained why Scott was worth more than Wharton. Wharton was a talent but his stock has gone up based on only PL performances hence why City want him now
-
his value has gone up so much based on his Premier League performances at Palace

This is main social activity. my job or circumstances don't stop me attending any games. Midweek game I get a couple of hours less sleep given I work nights but nothing to worry about. I grateful for such a thoughtful and honest response JH -
Yes his stock has risen cos of his performances at a PL club not cos his championship performances. Kevin De Bruyne to your question no have a non biased opinion cos he was Rovers fan and player. We were desperate cos of Indian court situation and we need money in. Shit Situation to be in Yes they could have been more clubs interested but moving to someone like Palace was a sensible move and get him playing regular where has gone to top 6 club he could have more time on the bench and not grown and developed like he has.

Just imagine if your son wants to support a different team to yours and you wanted to take him that who he wants to support, are you going to tell your 7 years old son no he has to support Rovers and actually take him to that team's games? Yes you might not have the same passion but you have passion cos its your son's team Some Rovers fans who now go and watch Stanley on a regular basis instead of Rovers Very good point. Some on here do do this and I know someone at work who does similar, his son loves watching football prices will either be announce tomorrow or Tuesday morning. Are you renewing now? -

Never said excellent job did I? those are your words not mine. You couldn't even one name and tied yourselves into knots, I named the final 2 candidates from what was reported at the start of the process. I also posted to yourself the candidates I would have liked to interview. You didn't do that did you? No its people have their own opinion and not based on a biased opinion from their fans. -
my squad for the world cup GK - Pickford Pope Henderson Defenders - James, TAA, White, Stones, Guehi, Tomori, Colwill, Hall, MLS CM - Rice, Anderson, Wharton, Jones and Gomes Wide options - Palmer, Saka, Gordon, Rashford, Rogers Striker/number 10 - Kane, Watkins, Bellingham, Solanke
-
Like I asked you for your team for the first world cup game and you came up with excuses again last night. Its was a basic question. I have been very clear with my opinion and what my team would be. Palmer is wide man despite him playing as a number 10 at Chelsea plus Bellingham and then Gibbs White/Maddison/Rogers are my number 10's

all depends on the reason, If they have moved away and then their children support their local team and then take them each game, I wouldn't be slagging them off for that would you? -
in your opinion tho not wrong at all Forever Blue. no one was bidding £30m for him even now. His value has GONE UP cos of his Premier League performances not cos of his Blackburn performances,

Yes Really. I'm not going to that issue has you know the story. Yes Dike was signed and he is still there now. They were in the playoffs place when sacked and if they had stuck with him, they could have finish in the playoffs and won it, instead they didn't cos Bruce couldn't get them playoffs. WBA since he left have still signed quality players on free transfers like Wallace and Swift or low fees like Thomas-Asante and Molumby. Appointing Corberan was a very good decision That WBA squad has quality players in the squad when Corberan left for Valencia that should be top 6. -

agreed but I should have said I don't see affording him and I have amend my post to say I see Brentford or lower PL team signing him -
No one know if we would have got more or not. Palace first bid of £15m were rejected and we got £18m plus £4m in add ons and 15% sell on clause on profit. if a club had more alot more, you would obviously reduced the percentage of sell on clause as normal IMO Not wrong at all Forever Blue but have a different opinion Scott had played more championship games and more England caps at younger level plus Scott was described by Pep Guardiola as an "unbelievable player" and by Jack Grealish as a "top, top talent". Also Scott was named EFL Championship Young Player of the Season 2022/2023, and included in the EFL Championship Team of the Season 2022/23 Wharton had none of that. Key difference

deffo true that Matty, I know people who were Rovers fans back when we were PL club and walked away around getting Relegated from the PL and poor season after that. Not be a game for years, either gone supporting another team, moved away and started a family or found other things to do with their time -
to be honest, I thought it was easy question to answer. Rice is the defensive midfielder with Jones. Rice doesn't have the passing range to play more advance for me for England. Jones gets box to box and Bellingham has the number 10. My other 3 centre midfielders for the squad would be Adam Wharton, Angel Gomes and Elliott Anderson Saka doesn't get in my team as I want Palmer in my team. Shaw international career is over for. My 2 left backs are Lewis Hall as first choice and MLS has 2nd choice. If Stones isn't fit then Colwill or Tomori come in. If James isn't ft then Ben White plays there. Its pathetic now. The Qualifying process for the European big nations is far too easy. The Nations league is boring and pointless

Nyambe shouldn't have got a new contract. He isn't good full back and better as centre back in a back 3. No I won't be saying the same if Travis, Tronstad or Brittain are sold. On Hyam, I could be tempted to sell him if we receive a good offer for him especially if we re-sign Batth and another centre back signing. Plus we have Carter and Wharton aswell. I wouldn't sign any of the loan players(apart from Beck) we have here, would you? That's 5 players we have to replace. Beck would cost too much IMO and I can see Brentford or lower PL team signing him Would you re-sign Batth, Weimann and Ribeiro if it was your decision? I expect Dolan to leave. -
so if everyone was fit what would be your starting 11 for the first game in 2026 World Cup in USA, Canada and Mexico? a question for everyone not just RF99 btw my team Pickford James Stones Guehi Hall Jones Rice Palmer Bellingham Gordon Kane
-
so why was he in the under 21's squad? his value has gone up cos of his Premier league performances, no way were we getting 30m for him as championship but we will get around extra £5m to £10m for our sell on clause so overall we got £27m to £32m for him overall

I have heard this time and time, I wonder how many would actually come back no this Blackburn Rovers FC. The club does exist. Supporters continue to back the club, attend games and pay their hard earned cash to watch their Rovers team. -
