Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
chaddyrovers replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
But we are still paying. You have a wage budget and you can't just keep signing players after players like you would. Michalski based on a one game? Jesus wept. He made a mistake, personally felt for him but he played well after that. Pears didn't warm up on Saturday even as 3rd choice. Someone said he is off to United, whether that true gods know. Not over fuss over it tbh -
You asked the similar questions last season. Going on and on. You know why the 7 games now Midweek games are inconvenience for me, given I work nights but I have accepted that as it's my choice.

2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂

didn't we do it when Appleton was here and he wanted to sign DJ Campbell and Jerome Thomas? Miller mentioned getting to the PL during his interview and that the plan under Gestede and Ismael. I think Ismael is Gestede's choice for the head coach job and they are aligned along with Adam Owen. People forget about Adam Owen and his range of contacts he has I also think Ismael wanted to push on this season and I don't think he expect Brittain and Travis to move on and I think he expect them to re-sign here long term. This hasn't happened for him but he isn't to blame and he has dealt with the situation with understand but telling the supporters what has gone on. hence why we seen his mention this season has a transition season -

Leonard is a young lad, he is 21 years old that isn't a young lad, Tyjon is a young lad But you missing players like Buckley, Pears, Leonard(via a loan). Plus some people wanted more signings without thinking what we have in terms of players and players we need to go, but also 25 man squad registration rules and you don't want an inflated squad. I see Henriksson has the replacement for Weimann plus Tyjon aswell. Yes no problem with Miller, Hyam, Wharton and McLoughlin going forward for the corner but we didn't need everyone in the box, why did Tronstad and De Neve stay on the end of the box with Ribeiro staying back on the half way line. We had a point in the bank at that stage. 3 points would have been great which it should have been in all fairness. I don't know Damien Johnson isn't doing the shooting practice warm ups in place of Lowe Johnson did some warm ups with Tronstad ad Taveras when Whitehead was warming up with the back 4. -

You mention Sky Sports Subscription going up, when I renewed my Sky TV contract it was down by small amount but still reduction. gives fans options on what games. Alot of fans last season and past season were complaining about not being able to see their team being played on TV given it was moved for for whatever reasons. Now they listened and decided to put them all on TV for the fans. Yesterday, I picked the wrong 2pm game to watch and I found the Chelsea game boring to watch. Expected better. No this again RF99. I have said previously I have no interest paying more for TNT Sports subscription than for my Sky Sports Subscription plus Sky Sports have the sports I wanted to watch like PL football, EFL, F1, cricket, NBA and Darts. TNT doesn't and it is that simple. You don't pay for either Sky Sports or TNT subscription I believe so please keep coming on with your high horse comments again The PL has become exactly what they wanted and its popularity just keep growing and growing. Its a global brand but without the TV rights and sponsorship most clubs would be screwed, that how clubs make the baulk of the money apart from Transfer sales. Fair points but alot of that is down to Ownership decisions and I don't what the FA or EFL can do legally. probably cos they expected a season of ups and downs given Frank has gone plus some key players have moved on or will do so. Plus I guess they are being over judgemental on Keith Andrews after one game like plenty of people would be

Why did Hyam play on Saturday thought he was missing? Why? You wrote your own club last season and you were proven wrong. Still haven't learnt have you. Like I said, some signings will work out and some won't. Just like every football and season. -

We did on Saturday and it cost us a point But you would now. If you keep signing players without getting rid. Yet again, you can't keep signing players after players without selling/loaning players. It's fairly simple maths and simple football matters. Strikers need service to score. Pleased you aren't our head coach cos our striker would have created their own chances. Same old similar boring comments every day. -
And all those extra viewers being able to watch their team via TV cos they game was moved for European competitions

If we keep signing players without getting rid of them then we would have too many players in the building. Service and chances created is more important and would Shearer have scored all those great goals for us without players like Ripley, Wilcox and Le Saux. That's why need to created more chances whether from set pieces or open play. Plus get 3 or 4 players in the box when crosses are coming in. Not just Ohashi on his own. -

Then you need to sell or loan players our in order to bring players in. Some signings will work out and some won't just like every season in football -

It's was you who posted that info. Slagging your own info off there. 🤣 His wife and children didn't move to Leeds with him. Did an interview during the season confirming that he lived on his own in Leeds -

I have seen what has Glen posted about that subject but I am not privy to what he knows or what these certain people have said to him. I have worked for some bosses I don't get with personally or vice versa where I get well with them whilst others have the completely opposite viewpoint. Unleaded is a good man and someone who has plenty of inside info, I don't know if he is on other social media but it was only a few months ago someone accused myself of saying something on Rovers facebook page cos that person had the same surname as myself, It wasn't myself who posted those comments on that facebook page so I warned caution against accusing people without actually knowing its them. Different people have left for different reasons. I read plenty of rumours like we had Brittain was set to new contract here then 2 days later, Boro and Derby put bids in for him. I heard some people on Saturday mentioned that they heard/been told, Brittain wanting 30k a week here or Pears is off to Manchester United this week or Eustace didn't want to leave for Derby. What is right or partially right or wrong, I don't know these days. Plenty of rumours I heard being discussed pre and during matches at Ewood. I am naturally a positive person and half glass full man. That's how I am and I would be changing from that but I will try to take abit more of objective look at certain things/info when posted. I would also add that every Rovers fan is entitled to their opinion and they opinion isn't wrong cos they don't agree with certain fan or supporter group/coalition or different opinions posted on here, or other social media. Maybe that person have different info from you or know certain things that other don't over a situation. -

Given that Tom Wagner is co-founder and co-CEO of Knighthead Capital Management, he will have access and knowledge of a different range of people. I believe Knighthead Capital Management is worth around £7bn But still part of the wage bill and we are still paying the, pleased you aren't working in my finance department I wouldn't be paying any Championship player 60k a week. unstainable -

You have a wage budget and we have one space for a right winger signing other than that, we have 2 or more players for each position. Pears isn't even warming up pre game as 3rd choice if case Michalski or Toth got injury. Can you afford to have here post transfer window if that the case. So you need one to leave in order to bring one in. Budget, but also to allow someone like Buckley to play regular and have a career -

random scouts? But we you can't keep just signings players until players go like Buckley, Pears and Leonard(on loan). You need to have a balance to everything. You can't just sign players and then you don't move the above on you got players you are paying that aren't playing for us but can't move on. Every club does it cos they don't want players at the club who they don't want -

We were winning 1 nil and we comfortable in that lead, defensively solid and until the penalty incident, they created nothing, in fact we had a great chance to go 2 nil up with Karbgo's chance -

The insider clearly knows plenty of other things and what is actually going on whilst we don't. Other they blocked questions about Travis after Ismael told the fans the situation regarding his situation and the fact he wants to leave us. Do we not want that? Ismael won't comment on Saturday post match after the Travis situation even when asked -

Mitrovic's wages means its a none starter. Wagner is investing millions and millions in the city of Birmingham and its different sporting clubs plus he has increased the commercial revenue of the club. They are expecting £50 millions this season in revenue. They have commercial deals with Delta Airlines, Vertu Motors and Coral have all joined Nike and Undefeated
