  1. He played the other week for his club after he failed a medical here seems that way for sure who else could when Cantwell wasn't going to be risked by Ismael? I agree on Alebiosu who looked ok on debut but he got forward and try to do what Brittain did for us. Replacing Brittain was always going to tough task given his qualities and how he played the right back role.
  2. Exactly. It's was nasty cut to the head Baradji is Travis replacement
  3. If you dont think that was clear penalty then you are totally and utter clueless. You're embarrassing yourself I'm not doing another Hedges debate with you AGAIN FFS. Move on and stop shit stirring RF99. We need a right sided attacking midfielder in. Thought you agree. Then replacing any players that leave whether that Travis, Pears or Buckley He played 2 weeks ago so is he fit or not? I dont know what the scans show
  4. I've answered the striker question in the transfer thread yesterday and my reply hasn't changed based on our first game where many fans will over reacted to a narrow defeat or come out with crap about all the new signings were shit cos they already previously said that. For my prediction, its abit fun predicting the score but I WILL NEVER BET AGAINST ROVERS EVER.
  5. Ismael gave little away as to whether Rovers were any closer to adding the right winger they clearly need and desire. He was quizzed on Koji Miyoshi but didn't offer much. "We still have three weeks, so I can't tell you anything at the minute," he said. "We're working hard behind the scenes. I think it's obvious now which position we need. "As I say, you have your target guy. Either you stay patient until you can get him, or you try to move on to the next one. But at some point, when we think he's the right player for us, we have to do everything." "There are a lot of players that I like," he said with a smile on Miyoshi. 6. Miyoshi and Baradji it is then Ohashi first half and that is it
  7. Really frustrated with today's performance. Their goal was soft and Travis not marking his man and allowing Price to score. I expected better from him. Deffo pen not given when it was clear Penalty and disappointed for it not to be given. The last 15 minutes we looked better. Ohashi had our best chance. Second Half, we huff and puff but never produced one clear cut chance which isn't good enough, few half chances but nowhere good enough. Toth made a couple of good saves but had 2 dodgy moments. On the debutants today, Alebiosu looked ok on his debut, McLoughin did well at centre back, De Neve one or two moment but nothing to note, got a nasty cut to his face first half, Hendriksson look lost at times and at times I think Mokenna was playing with his tackling Miller looks decent enough but short of fitness. Tavares didn't have enough time to make an impact. disappointed result but 45 games to go and we need to improve now.
  8. Deffo penalty not given. Shocking decision Poor marking for goal by Travis. He is marking Price. Good save by Toth.. We looked much better in the last 15. Ohashi had a good chance. Kargbo could be different maker here between a loss or draw/win
  9. Ismael said yesterday he wasn't taking a risk with Cantwell, being cautious
  10. said this earlier this week regarding the harassment and comments on O2G Mike
  11. Thought Travis were in Derby today according to their fans, yet he is starting for us
  12. what the hell are going on about? Throwing your toys out of the pram RF99 again!!!
  13. did you actually say that? You obsessing over numbers again, Carter is back in 2 weeks and we have 3 options at right backs and one of those can play the centre back position just like Henning Berg did or Lucas Neill did during their time here. I have explained Gestede's comment more than once as you are obsessing over it. Yes I wanted Striker instead of number 10 but we signed a number 10. Also I expected Leonard to be loan out, if he is then bring in another striker but that's shouldn't be loan but a permanent signing. Ohashi and Gueye are my first 2 choices so that player would be third signing, if we aren't loaning Leonard and he is going stay and pay, fine no problem. We aren't short there, We have 3 options there in Ohashi, Gueye and Leonard, if Leonard leaves on loan then we need one., this is point you keep missing and you loved stockpilling loads of players. You need around 26/27 players in your squad and that what we currently have minus one right winger signing which is a priority.
  14. Wrexham should been ahead at St's Mary Stadium
  15. No I haven't misunderstood anything thanks RF99. I thought examples weren't allowed after you starting kicking off when I used an possible example of us easing Leonard backinto the first team. No its doesn't create another problem given we have another right back but sometimes you might want to go 3 at the back for the last 10 minutes of games so moving Miller next to Hyam and Wharton whilst bringing on Alebiosu for the right winger makes perfect sense. Have you actually thought of that?
  16. Ismael in his preview to WBA said they were being Cautious over Cantwell injury and he will be back next week. I don't see Cantwell leaving this season and I think Ismael actually see him as key player for this team. On the Travis situation, Ismael made very clear that Travis has been offered a new contract here as he said post Stanley friendly game. Would it surprise if he left before end of the window, no it wouldn't It would zero surprise to see Pears and Buckley to leave. The writing has been on the wall for Buckley for the last 2 seasons. He needs regular first team football. If Pears isn't first choice then I always thought he would look to move on. We always have players who can play a couple of positions during a season like Henning Berg or Paul Warhurst or Lucas Neill. To be honest I actually think its makes perfect sense to have 1 or 2 players within your squad who can play a couple of positions. I don't see what your problem actually is.
  17. Ipswich wasn't at their best and they need some quality signings but Szmodics should have scored with that chance first half. Birmingham were expected what I expect given we witness this last season But its great that proper football is back now.
  18. I am looking forward to the season and I'm excited for the new season and seeing what it brings. Ismael has a clear idea what he wants from his squad, how he wants us to play and how he see this team going. I hope everyone travelling to the Hawthorns, Rovers produce a result they can be proud off and we can get a positive result. COYB!!! 🔵⚪
