  1. good for you guys, I have said my opinion on players being squad players and what they are. never said anyone was back up player so asked that member. I will leave it thanks.
  2. already answered what a squad player is. I would suggested you asked that Member who said Batth came here as "back up player". I have said my opinion on Forshaw who is here an experience squad player, he will start few games but mainly off the bench. every squad player is important part of the first team and we have a few key players like the ones I mentioned previously who are very important players to our first team squad
  3. well we got the 4 wickets I wanted. Going to be interesting day tomorrow
  4. ask the member who said that I said that "no surprise Forshaw has re-sign here. It was clear Ismael wanted him to sign from his comments at the end of the season. Squad player midfielder with experience 4th choice but adding Championship experience to this squad. 5. most players are squad players cos players are rotated and rested and have very few outfield players will play 46 league games. Some players are key players and will start every game when fit like Brittain, Hyam, Tronstad, Travis but others will play depending on form, fitness and performances Batth would starts some games and given that he hadn't signed until week/10 days before the start of the season he would always start before Carter and Hyam but performances from him would force himself into the team.
  6. Which is exactly the same thing Trying to alter the wording doesn't make any difference to the actual reality that Brittain decided/refusal from playing in this friendly. He would have got 60 mins like the rest of starting 11 apart from Carter who went off with cramp
  7. ignoring the fact he had got 2 fours from that shot already.
  8. Archer, Woakes and Carse need to bowl them out. 192 to defend. Need 4 or 5 quick wickets at the start
  9. Suggest you read Ismael's comments cos Brittain didnt want to play in this game and Brittain made that decision on his own
  10. Nothing to say about Root going too far over and being bowled around his legs? But slammed Brook for similar?.🤔
  11. Or negotiation a fee with Rovers instead
  12. He did the Stanley defender was around 6 yards out from the goal
  13. Nicko said this morning we have bidding for winger in his replies to people on his patreon account
  14. Not a back player but squad player role No. Football is squad game nowadays and Batth came here as a squad player. How much played all depends on performances, form, and results.
  15. Who says he came here as back up player? but you want to rule out anything else
  16. Has he sign for anyone yet? other free agents have signed for other clubs, so why not Dolan? Also what you don't factor in again is that Dolan and his agent would have for months he wasn't signing any new contracts so surely they put the feelers out to other clubs even a pre contract with a club overseas? I never said we offered him megabucks but equally you don't know for any degree of certainness that Rovers didn't make a fair contract offer under GB and JDT time here.
  17. Preston vs Liverpool on ITV for a friendly?
  18. the same shot he played twice before and got 4 both times
  19. Ismael's comments post game to Rovers TV " Hayden came off as a caution. He felt a cramp in the same area where he had an injury from last season. He didn’t know how to process the situation and we didn’t want to take any risks, so we’ll assess things with a scan. At the minute, I’m carefully optimistic with him and we’ll wait on the scan
  20. Sunderland finished 16th in the season when he left. Also Sunderland signed younger players. Plus he was on the bench mostly during his year at Norwich
  21. to be honest, I am surprised that Dolan hasn't sign for another club yet, I would have thought given that Dolan and his agent would have be put feelers out for the past few months and I seen not many links either to moves. Maybe his wage demands are too high given what the Turkish club chairman said recently
  22. We fly to Spain after this Home friendly against Everton on Saturday
  23. They still want a centre back signing this summer and we seen players linked who played that position. I guess they didn't see Batth being a regular all season and factoring in Wharton who is just back from a serious injury
  24. just like yourself talking about about Rovers not offering Dolan what a good contract offer which you don't know and just made that up. I reckon in my opinion that Dolan was offered something like that but didn't accept that. You don't know if he had any concreate offers in yet and given he and his agent would have know for months he wasn't re-sign here so would have put the feelers out plus factoring what that club chairman in Turkey about his demands. Given that he is 13 days after he left here and he hasn't sign for anyone would suggest either his demands are too high or other clubs don't rate him as highly as we did. If they did he would have signed for someone, the fact he hasn't and is training alone. If you genuinely think he is mulling over some offers and its taking this long to make a decision then fine but I think you are way off. I don't shut you down but just said we were all aware of it and didn't need to be constantly reminded of it by yourself But yet you love to comments on his stories don't you. Rovers want to further checks in this injury.
