  1. Fair enough. I heard Andy Bayes asking him a question about and his answer. Agreed 100%
  2. I was talking about football in general not about Rovers management. You have asked me questions previously and I answered every one
  3. Ismael says he didn't ignore the away support at Portsmouth, I wasn't at that game so can't comment but he did walk down the tunnel and didn't come to the BBE post game on Friday night. https://x.com/allrovers_/status/1908268325236597038 If I was head coach I would every time go and thanks the supporters whether we won, draw or lost. I would accept any criticism that came my way
  4. You seem to have such a problem with the head coach role and what it should be. You wanted them to be old school manager where he control everything football side of the club has done. well that depends whether the head coach has been employed to play that style of play the club want they to or whether he has autocracy to decide a style of play he wants to play Its the football club who has decide to play this way based on what the football board, management and sporting Director wants. They will employ a head coach who has experience in playing that way or bring through youth into the first team. What ever they want to do.
  5. no but don't expect people not to say something back. How would you like me to come to your workplace and have a go at you? are you going to just take it or say something back? Someone the other week had a go at Travis and he said something back.
  6. So, what your point then? if Rovers under Gestede and the Rovers board wanted to play this style and have picked their head coach choice to be appointed Have I? no I have commented on what been said and what they said. I have previously said what formation and style I would play. Have I said it made sense here but I was commented a wider point within the football community that is how football work now. That was my point You said the same last summer and we spent from what Pasha said around 4.5m mark this season on transfers and increase the wage bill for the January signings. I expect something similar this summer, where I think we spend some money on player transfer fees(around 3-5 million), a couple of loans and couple of frees.
  7. Looks like Southampton have sacked Juric now. An appointment that never made sense. Surely they go for Rohl now, Wouldn't surprise me if they go for him now
  8. Fair enough, I respect that and whatever decision you made. I was talking about our players and performances/results in the early PL days like Shearer, Sherwood, Mimms, Wilcox, Atkins Ripley. Those memories can't been taken away from me and I started following Rovers around the 1992 and it was cos of my dad influence being a Rovers supporter and going to games. In 1993/94 my dad took me to my first game and I was hooked from that minute to now. I still enjoyed going and I am proud Rovers supporters and still am to this day. Never had the pleasure of watching Simon Garner play sadly. Shearer is my Favourite ever Rovers player.
  9. what is reasonably amount of backing? how many millions? Do you not think that Ismael has agreed before he appointed head coach role to play this style he and Gestede has said they want to play? I take you aren't renewing/buying ST next season, is this correct?
  10. Gestede and Waggott have said why they appointed and the reasons. I'm sure you have heard and read them So you honestly think Ismael was appointed then told he has played this way after his appointment? really? All this was discussed and agreed before he his appointment.
  11. that squad were they had a massive injured crisis at times. No I wouldn't sack Ange but back him with 5 quality signings including a another centre back, left back, centre midfielder, Son's replacement and another striker.
  12. Neville and Keane was bang on post game. It was awful game to watch and both teams didn't take a risk and I was disappointed by Pep playing that way.
  13. Yes I am aware of their league position and results but they are a number of factors for that like losing their best 2 centre backs for a number of games, Solanke missing, at times Postecoglou's tactics. They could win a trophy if they win the European comp they are in. Semi final in the league cup. Wasn't their fans having a go at Postecoglou before he goaded them? or do you not expect them to have a go back at them?
  14. I don't see Rovers sacking him if we lose tomorrow or even at the end of the season. I expected they will give him next season and back him with a number of signings to fit his style of play and formation so who would you go for?
  15. Wrong, I don't but I dont have a problem with clubs picking their head coach appointment based on their squad and what style they play. Just like I agree with the head coach only getting involved in transfers at the players shortlist stage and not before hand. Yes the head coach should pick the target from the shortlist present to him from the recruitment/scouting department. Right, thanks for answering the question. My question was based around United appointing Amorim mid season with a squad that doesn't suit him. Ismael played possession based football at Watford and Besiktas So why wouldn't not appoint a head coach in the first place who suits the players in the first place?
  16. When Ben Rosen left Adam Owen wasn't at Rovers? We did replace Ben Rosen with Karl Hodges fitness and sport science guru didn't we? Plus didnt bringing in someone else to work under Hodges?
  17. Have we? In his last 2 jobs played 4-2-3-1 and mostly played 4-2-3-1 in the first 6 games here. Next season he might go to back 3 formation if he still here. I wouldnt play back 3 formation as my preference is 4-2-3-1.
  18. key centre defenders out and number 9 striker was always going to have a negative effect on things there. Should be doing better and should have 2 or 3 more squad players last summer
  19. yet most football clubs do it, despite you saying it the backwards way of working. So here is a question, would you employ a head coach who wants to play 3-4-3 formation yet you don't have the players that suit that formation or style of play?
  20. Total laughable post. I have totally respectful to yourself and others. If you this I didn't know the situation before the last 2 weeks then you are deluded. We know the issues, but I want to back the players on the pitch. If you want to protest during the game then fine with, that your choice and I respect that but I would hope you respect my viewpoint. Similar on STH whether you buy one or not, everyone decision should be respect exactly Parson, 100% agree and I have mentioned about people understanding and respecting their decision whatever that is
  21. How they run poorly tho? Best stadium in the PL and state of the art facility training ground I would say they need to keep Ange and back him in the summer with some quality signings.
  22. Manchester derby was an awful watch Fulham vs Liverpool was a great game of football and very enjoyable for a neutral fan
  23. But clubs appoint a head coach that suits the style they want to play. That's how football works, That why they have appoint that person in the first place.
