Exactly, Without Jack Walker buying Rovers, investing and spending his own money on the club to improve it and take us to the PL and to win the PL. Newcastle are investing their own money on the club from the owners, they aren't using bank loans or debt to buy the club like Glazers did with Man Utd or Hicks and Gillet with Liverpool. If the Walker family hadn't sold Rovers when they did and kept it under their control and let John Williams and Tom Finn keep running the club and especially when the New TV deal kick in and would have help maintain Rovers as a PL club. Szmodics is suited to how we are playing but the real problem is how we are playing Travis and he is far too high when we defensively leaving us just Wharton in there. That's why I would go in the 2 defensive midfielders and Szmodics has the 10 behind Leonard He has played his entire career there. no Wouldn't cos Ipswich, Sunderland and Boro all played 4-2-3-1 against us. We have played mix between 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 with Wharton playing as the deep layer midfielder with Travis and Szmodics playing the 8 role with sometimes Szmodics moving into the 10 role alot leaving us wide open at times

Leonard had a good game yesterday. Good to hear that. Wish he had score his chance with the header. Elliott Jackson raved about him in the LT player ratings I think Hedges is a quality player and one of JDT's main players. His goal at Watford was class. I don't get why people don't rated Hedges good to hear and lets hope he keeps kicking on and developing under JDT Pears should be catching the ball not punching it. I think he needs another midfielder next to him in the centre of park to help and protect the back 4 more. JDT wants to play one defensive midfielder and 2 number 8/attacking midfielders instead of playing 2 defensive midfielders and Szmodics as the number 10 which I would actually prefer us to. Tronstad would be my choice next to Wharton for the Leicester game.

I would expect most PL clubs to be looking at him. Unless we get a silly offer in January he is going nowhere at the minute
