  1. I have nothing to add to my already posted comments made on medicals and Proctor/Dalton roles and job performance at Rovers. I think I have made my thoughts on Waggott more than clear on here and what I want like to see Rovers owners or any new owners do. back to the game, I think we will win 2-1 with Szmodics scoring.
  2. my view wasn't conflicting tho. I never once compare the Bundesliga to the Premier League tho. I commented what was the best move Career wise for Harry Kane and what his options were last summer.
  3. I'm sure Andy Proctor and Chris Dalton would do these medicals properly as always. You tell me Dr Mercer seems you seem to know?
  4. Spurs aren't in the CL this season. A move to United was never going to happened for cost involve and Levy stance on selling to another PL club as was reported at the time. He never pushed for the City Move when maybe he should have done but never did. Bayern is one of the biggest club in the world. He will win the league there and a good chance of winning the champs league. United have no chance of winning it
  5. The Premier League is the best league in the world but given that Kane is joining one of the biggest club in the world and a genuine chance of winning the champions league which he wouldn't have got unless he joined Man City was never going to happen
  6. well if he didn't passed a medical he wouldn't have signed for us.
  7. never been to Munich but I think it was the deffo the right decision footballing wise
  8. I think Levy would have stopped it and let him gone for a free transfer. I do think Kane made the best decision for him moving to Bayern as he will be playing Champions League football every season and should win the league.
  9. I don't think Spurs and Levy would have ever sold to another PL club. The uncertain of the owners and the takeover is affecting the club full time whether its the players on the pitch or fans in the stadium or the staff employed there. The takeover need sort quickly otherwise it will continue to cause problems and be destabilising affect on the entire club
  10. He passed the medical tests here and I am sure we did them properly and thoroughly. I think Ennis would be good player and hopefully we can get him on the pitch more in the coming months. why should Procter be sack? Ennis passed all the medical tests
  11. This is why our owners shouldn't have cut the wage bill by 15% but actually maintained it and used the £5m raised to buy a proven striker that we need. Back GB, JDT and the players to achieve promotion this coming season. This is what our CEO and Pasha should have been saying to the owners when these discussions were happening about this. Yes it a risk but its could be worth hundred of millions to Rovers if we get promote and even if we yo-yo the first season we could bounce back and stay there that time and become this PL sustain club that GB has spoken about
  12. deffo. I spoke to 3 Rovers at the last home game against Leicester and each of them would have attend the Cardiff cup game. So that's 5 tickets he missed out on being sold cos of his own decision to shut the Blackburn end. I am still annoyed by it
  13. Well he passed it and given that our head of medical services is a former footballer in Andrew Proctor he would have know if he wasn't right medical for Rovers
  14. I guess we would know if they were. I have confident in Howard Webb sorting it all on whether its the standard of refereeing or VAR The current ownership problem and what is going on with the takeover is massive concern there. What are Glazer actually doing?
  15. this we all agreed that they are potential owners out there if Venkys were willing to sell the club. We don't know if these potential owners would be good or bad depending who they are. Any owner would need £60m to buy the club(£25m), training ground(15m) plus funding the losses for the first year(20m) whilst bring in a number of key staff replacing the current staff in off field roles like CEO, Commercial head, marketing head, finance director, Club secretary. Also put into a proper commercial operation in place to increase revenue and grow the fanbase plus sell more ST, etc. One thing that I don't get is why the current owners aren't pushing Waggott and who ever replaced Fielder to increase commercial revenue right now or even in previous years. We made £4.8m from commercial revenue according to last club accounts on companies house but what would be interesting is how much of that is sponsorship revenue and how of that is from buying from club shop, etc.
  16. 4 years isn't it? We never seen a mistake like this before tho, I think Howard Webb has a massive job with the PGMOL to improve the standard of refereeing at all professional levels aswell as VAR. I would still like to see Howard Webb in the VAR room for this weekend fixtures at least to see what is actually going on.
  17. good news. We need Ennis back. I have to agree that attacking wise we have created plenty of chances and playing some very good attractive football. I know we haven't won in the last 3 games but in all games we have created plenty of scoring opportunities
  18. It was posted on twitter earlier in the day that the game was being moved for concerns over the state of Bamber Bridge pitch
  19. Howard Webb has changed this now - Guidance to Video Match Officials has always emphasised the need for efficiency, but never at the expense of accuracy. This principle will be clearly reiterated - A new VAR Communication Protocol will be developed to enhance the clarity of communication between the referee and the VAR team in relation to on-field decisions - As an additional step to the process, the VAR will confirm the outcome of the VAR check process with the AVAR before confirming the final decision to the on-field officials https://x.com/FA_PGMOL/status/1709258060328227067?s=20 if the VAR room is watching the game properly I would have thought it was very obvious what they are looking at?
  20. well its does, so that's the rule VAR Principles Explained (premierleague.com) Video Assistant Referee (VAR) protocol | IFAB (theifab.com)
  21. because FIFA rules says that it has to be match official in the VAR room. I mentioned previously that I would like to see Howard Webb in the VAR room for the next couple of weeks overseeing everything. Never been a fan of VAR and I didn't think it should have come in Football in the first place. I stand by that view. does appeals the manager or the players given that the managers know within a second or two whether it would be worth an appeal due to have Video game analyst in the stand?
  22. I would be in favour of Howard Webb being in the VAR room and watching is actually happening there. Even being the main VAR official for weekend of games
  23. well done to Plymouth for refunding their supporters the coach expenses.
  24. Wahlstedt Brittain Hill Hyam Pickering Travis Tronstad JRC Moran Sigurdsson Szmodics Subs:- Hilton, Carter, Wharton, Wharton, Garrett, Dolan, Markanday, Telalovic, Glisenan, I would play 4-2-3-1 and have 2 holding midfielders protecting the back 4. That's the change formation I would do. I deffo wouldn't play 3 at the back. I still want us to creating plenty of chances and play the attacking game we have in recent games.
  25. I will stand by what I said in the original post and I won't be overreacting to the last 3 league games.
