Why would you move you best attacking player in Sammie Szmodics from his best position? The role and ability to play the number 10 role like JDT wants is class and he was bargain at what we paid for him. He played well considering he has never played in the championship before and it was difficult game for him to come on just after Boro scored and they went for the second. He has some good moments like that pass for Szmodics to score his third and Rovers third. Defensively he has learn when to press and when to sit in. As others have said Szmodics did his best to tell him what to do. Its deffo work in progress but you can see why Rovers signed him.

One of the biggest positive from this season is that JDT has put his stamp finally on this team and the team JDT wants that plays attacking football and creating plenty of chances. The players suit it and I have enjoyed watching play with such identify and you can see how they want to play
