  1. Yet Travis wanted out and didn't want to be squad player here. He wanted to be starter and in the 6 role
  2. We have Tronstad, Garrett, Buckley(back soon), Ayari and JRC. I would be in favour of moving JRC into the 8 role and sign a right back. Interesting next 38 hours ahead for Rovers. Hoping we bring in 3 players before deadline day ends Did Travis fit our playing style? Also Travis wanted out cos he wanted to play the 6 role and JDT didn't play him there. Tronstad has proven his worth in that role surely to be first choice. Travis didn't want to sit on the bench all season
  3. Pears JRC Hyam Wharton Chrisene Tronstad Garrett Dolan Szmodics Sigurdsson Gallagher
  4. Don't drink cider or any other alcohol Simon as I have said several times now. We won't agree so no point in debating it with you.
  5. Disappointed to see Adam Wharton leave so early but £22m is hard for Rovers to turn down. It should(key word) allow to bring in a 3 or 4 players this window and a couple in the summer. Don't blame Adam for wanting to play PL football and he will play regular at Palace. Hopefully we can get Duncan McGuire over the line. I would look at Paddy McNair from Boro. Out of contract in the summer, aged 28 and experience. Wouldn't cost much transfer fee wise. We can look at right back signing and move JRC into Wharton role, or sign a centre midfielder replacement. Then I would like winger with pace Wahlstedt is nowhere near as bad as people on here make out. He is still young in terms of keepers and he needs developing on command of the area and catching crosses. Telalovic is work in progress signing. He is getting better as time goes on. Ennis has been awful signing. Also GB is doing a good overall job at Rovers IMO.
  6. Yates would enjoy playing in our team with our attacking quality he would thrive. McGuire Seems like someone Rovers like and scouting. Can see it being a busy last 3 days for Rovers for ins and outs. Don't know what happens Wharton"s Palace bid.
  7. Very good win. Job done. Dolan, Szmodics, Hyam and Gallagher all good.
  8. Its shows that England are thinking outside the box but also listening to different people who has experience and advise from people who has coach, played and watched plenty of cricket.
  9. No chance but I have alot of respect for Klopp and the job he has done. He won the PL title which Liverpool fans craved for years after years.
  10. David Lloyd recommended Hartley to Rob Key during the summer, cos of the way he bowls and the type of spinners pitches in India requires. The great Shane Warne struggled in India and his bowling average was 43. DAVID LLOYD: I told Rob Key that match-winner Tom Hartley could cut it out in India - I was right! … https://mol.im/a/13017015 via https://dailym.ai/android
  11. Do penalties not count as Goals now? Better not tell Sir Alan Shearer that one. He scored 72 during his career IMO, Yates would be quality signing. He would score goals under JDT style.
  12. I also read he will going around the far East trying to find a buyer. Ali Syed https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/8396019.ali-syed-remains-committed-efforts-buy-blackburn-rovers/ https://www.sportingintelligence.com/2010/11/01/ahsan-ali-syed-withdraws-blackburn-rovers-interest-after-‘insufficient-cooperation’-from-club-011101/ Plus Saurin Shah https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/8215605.indian-businessman-want-buy-blackburn-rovers/
  13. You mean David Brown who was our vice Chairman but was Walker's family representative on the board https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/7lFir706AlGcWPfKIZFesUKxFpE/appointments Correct they were hired by the Walker Trust to find a buyer
  14. He said we were interest in Rajovic but nowhere did he say we would buy him. We had interested in the player which given he has scored 8 goals this season its clear why we would be interest in him.
  15. Yes Gav, I am very aware of when Uncle Jack passed away but my point being that the Walker family should have properly respected Uncle Jack's wishes and be very careful who they sold the club to. They wanted rid of it around 2009 and exactly why they enlisted the help of other people to get a sale.
  16. The wage bill will be restore to previous season and Gallagher, Ennis and Markanday will be off the wage bill. I not over complicated it all discussing the wage bill and I let that for people who do it for professional job like GB. What I have suggested is what Norwich did under Webber and it works for them
  17. why would we want to extend Gallagher's contract for 12 months when he is huge wages, injury prone and not good enough to be our main striker?
  18. It was last season aswell. We beat Leicester 2-1
  19. Alex Scott went from mid table championship club to Lower mid table PL club. Similar to this transfer. Maddison went from Norwich to Leicester for £20m back in 2018. No one wants to sell Wharton but that money if we sold for £25m and we reinvest half of it into 6 quality players who would improve the overall depth and quality of the squad would make us more competitive and better chance of promotion plus keep JDT here next season. Wharton won't wait for ages for promotion and he will want to be playing PL football as soon as possible. Ideally that would be with us. I do think he will stay here until the summer and either move to Newcastle or Man Utd. Dan Ashworth, Newcastle United DoF has scouted himself a few times so he clearly rated him
  20. delighted to get Newcastle at home. Just need to win tomorrow night now. COYB!
