  1. You asking me a question that you should be asking JDT since he made the comments yesterday on Rovers TV
  2. The last 30 years of football, Football has modernised in terms of Different days of the week, kick offs and tv coverage which is great for football fans who want watch plenty of football each week
  3. No one has implied otherwise but JDT make a very important point to the fans that the players and JDT need the fans even more now. Do you not see that on Rovers TV?
  4. Which Klopp has won them plus FA cup which is still an important trophy for PL teams
  5. We will see when we play the game but I have faith JDT and these players clearly you don't
  6. I believe Bellingham is a Liverpool fan and his father is a aswell. I reckon he goes there It is still a trophy at the end of the day. You are moving the goal posts to suit your argument. Pep hasn't won the Champions League at City yet, Klopp has at Liverpool
  7. I will be attend as always. If people listen to what JDT said on RoversTV he was clear and direct that the players and him need the fans backing and support. My team for this game Kaminski JRC Ayala/Carter Wharton Pickering Travis Buckley Thomas Dack BBD Vale Subs:- Pears, Carter/Phillips, Morton, Dolan, Hedges, Szmodics, Gallagher
  8. 2 games in hand on some teams there challenging the playoffs
  9. He has won 6 trophies there. compare to the last 25 years I think he has more than proved his worth. He need to rebuilt his midfield and signing Bellingham and one more midfield would help massively
  10. Klopp has more than enough credit in the bank with what he has won there during his time
  11. We still should have got one and we need one for next season. Should be summer priority
  12. He step up and took responsibility for their failure to secure 2 players on deadline day Why did you think a main striker wasn't a huge priority?
  13. Nicko doing a story on it in tomorrow I thought he was saying to the owners/Rovers management with some financial backing we could achieve the PL target sooner with some more financial backing in this window. He is no doubt in wants to managing in the PL soon
  14. Potter job is safe there.
  15. We need another striker in just in case we pick up injuries or suspension. I have given you my opinion on Broughton. I don't know why you struggled to accept my viewpoint And what your opinion on my view on Broughton's interview? I enjoyed working nights.
  16. He explained in his interview on Rovers TV that he was Manchester. Waggott was in Birmingham
  17. He wasn't at the Birmingham game he was with the 2 players where they were having their medicals in Manchester
  18. missing me Duncan? sadly other things take priority like sleeping after working a night shift guess you don't work nights tho or never have?
  19. as long as I keep you happy pal, shame to see others having their sly digs cos I haven't been on the forum for about 24 hours. Pathetic to be honest
  20. I see Klopp has been moaning about Chelsea spending so much money but Chelsea have been buying alot of good exciting and promising young players plus giving them so many long term 5 years plus contracts. Chelsea have played well in the game but I see that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out of tonight match day squad and their 25 man champions league squad. He was panic buy and not what they needed
  21. I guess when a player of Lewis O'Brien quality becomes available that changes that stance. Plus his quality would help us secure a playoff place and promotion chances. The project is to become a sustainable PL club firstly so if we got promotion this season and then came back down before getting promotion again and staying there then that would be the aim would be met. I hope Thomas signs here permanent if the summer. Think he would be good permanent addition if we can agree a deal in the summer. Yes it does and he has taken full responsibility for that failure. We still sign a striker on a short term contract like Lewis Grabban or Chris Martin. not great but would be help for the final 18 games 3. If we had signed a striker and O'Brien probably a 10 no, I still have faith in the project under Broughton and Jon Dahl Tomasson Good question
  22. Gregg Broughton gave a full account of how the O'Brien transfer came about on Rovers TV with him coming for his medical in the Afternoon in Manchester which GB met him and his agent there. He said he left Manchester at 9.20 pm to go back to Brockhall whilst they were doing the paperwork, TV interviews with Rovers etc. Blimey Butty, I was working last night so I have been sleeping majority of the day. I didn't realised you were missing me so much Butty.
  23. I have listened to Rovers TV interview with Gregg Broughton tonight and He took full responsibility for the 2 failed transfers on transfer deadline and the failure to secure a number 9 striker. I thought he was honest, blunt and straight to the point. I don't any of the blame for what appears to be administrative errors is the fault of him personally. Also said Rovers would look at the internal side so why it failed in these circumstances. He also explained the problem with the 2 strikers deals we had agreed before the circumstances changed on the other club point of view. Something he can't be blame for but a striker should have been signed during the Transfer window. I would expect to a very different approach in the summer from him and JDT with signings and I would expect us to do our business early doors I am pleased that Gregg Broughton did come out today and take full responsibility for it and saying he is control of the football side of the club. I also feel gutted for JDT who wanted to strengthen his team for the final 18 games and secure at least a playoff place. I also agreed with his comments that the Rovers players and him need the fans to be behind the team for the run in and on Monday night against Wigan. I also feel gutted for both players who wanted to come here and still do. I hope that our appeal for the Lewis O'Brien works and we can sign him. The Ethan Brierley transfer will happen in the summer anyway.
