  1. It could be. He only has 6 months left on his contract at his current club. Would be cheap fee to get him permanent
  2. Thanks for sharing your info and apprenticed you posting it
  3. Undav isn't a target man type tho from what I watched but more than box striker who scores goals Gelhardt, I don't know what type of striker he is tbh. Don't think he was ever first choice for us.
  4. Who is the big target man or number 10 we have target?
  5. And what's my opinion on this potential signing? neutral cos I have no knowledge of him. How many of us having seen him play regular?
  6. I stick with Leeds or Brighton.
  7. Don't agree there cos we don't know who are first choice targets were. @JoeHexplained how you would have a number of names on a list for a striker but its what you want. Gelhardt wasn't even available until recently when they signed a striker for 30 mil I think Morton has deserved to start as many games as he has. Suits how we want to play and performed well overall. If you disagree fine but plenty of people agree with our different viewpoints based on what?
  8. To be honest, I have zero knowledge of this player, what his strengths or weaknesses. I don't know what the standard is like Holland or Belgium or France as I don't watch those leagues. He scored 1 goal in 2 games at Cercle Brugge and then moved to Genk where he scored 1 goal in 6.25 games. At Troyes last season he scored 5 goals in 14 games where he played 821 minutes but this season he has the same games but only 1 goal and only 399 minutes. Can anyone say why this is? change of coach or tactics, etc? I think its much more than a rumour at this stage given who is posting the info on here
  9. Maybe he wants to come home to the UK
  10. I know about the financial penalties some clubs put in place for lack of game time for loan players. I don't know the full ins and out why we didn't sign Gelhardt and I'm not convince he was ever the right type of striker we need I think Morton has been good enough so far this season to warranted starting as much as he has but I think yesterday he was very poor based on what? Most clubs are looking for a proven goalscorer but yet again comes down to money What has Delap has done that impress you so much over Ugbo who I doubt you seen much off?
  11. I enjoyed watching Brighton and Leeds play. different styles but enjoyable to watch plus likely we would be on TV if we draw either at home which generates more money for the club Liverpool need to invest in signings in Midfield and Klopp knows that. He wants Bellingham and someone else in the summer I read.
  12. Some Over the top comments about Ike Ugbo on here without most of us even seeing much of him playing. He has scored goals in Belgium, Holland and France plus he was in Canada world cup squad and played minutes in the World cup for them. I just don't get why people are so negative about the potential signing. Players like Gestede didn't score much when he signed for Rovers to similar criticism on here if memory served me right. Neal Maupay's Ligue 1 scoring record was only 7 goals in 59 games before Brentford signed him. Look at the hit he was there before a move to PL club. I hope Ugbo is a permanent signing not a loan
  13. Well done Brighton. Thought they just about deserved it If we get through the replay I wouldn't mind Brighton or Leeds at home please
  14. Here are few possible Ike Ugbo then Iké Ugbo - Player profile 22/23 | Transfermarkt Josh Maja Josh Maja - Player profile 22/23 | Transfermarkt Jean-Philippe Krasso Jean-Philippe Krasso - Player profile 22/23 | Transfermarkt Maja and Krasso I believe out of contract in the summer. I would have suggested Rhys Healey from Toulouse but he is out injured
  15. Who built his up to be another Harvey Elliott tho? I think we will sign a good striker and someone who will fit the type of signing we need. Some people don't rated him as highly as you do as I think you were very keen on signing him last summer and we spent weeks chasing him for him to say no
  16. The pies are from Clayton Park bakery but I ain't a fan at all. I just would like to see some variety to the food options apart from burgers and hot dogs. Like a slice of pizza and drink for 4 pounds. I do like the Indian food served outside the BBE before the game but not available inside the stadium I believe
  17. I can understand your points but given our wage budget signing a player like Hayden would have cost around 1 million pounds plus in wages which that money got us Brittain permanent here. Also didn't we pick signing Morton over Styles in the summer to be our midfield signing I do think Morton was poor yesterday and should have been sub yesterday but I don't believe that we have any sort of agreement that he must play regardless of form or performances Agree with your points. Gregg Broughton and Jon Dahl Tomasson have been very open and honest what the plan is for the now and future plus on budget aswell. We have the same wage budget as last season Why blamed the GK coach instead of Kaminski actually taking the blame for his poor form, over confidence and far too many mistakes?
  18. I hope not for the player and the quality he has
  19. we chased for weeks last summer and got nowhere with it. I think we will sign better before the deadline closes
  20. I am thinking of moving permanent there next season with my ST. I was sat in row 3 which was excellent view of the game. I don't buy anything from the kiosks anymore due to overpricing and the type of food served. I didn't have a problem at the turnstiles but I was there at 2.20pm so wouldn't expect any sort of queues then.
  21. I thought Carter did fine against him. He is old fashioned type of striker but thought Carter did fine against him. Maybe why they keep playing into their left side was cos JRC playing at right back
  22. Reading his comments this morning replying to people its seems like Rovers were interested in him but seems like WBA are first in line for him so we ask about him but move on from him being a target Player who has attitude problems and his 2 last coaches have both the same. Russell Martin has dropped him several times over it. Is that the sort of player we want?
  23. I enjoyed sitting in the Jack Walker Upper stand W12 area yesterday and the view was good and I did notice that not every kiosk was open yesterday is this standard practice or was it just for this game in the concourse area? After seeing the goals this morning I am even more frustrated by Kaminski for both goals which he should have saved easily. Yet again I never said we were brilliant all game but for that period of the game the way we played with the ball and how we pass and move was brilliant to watch. I would like to know why we don't play with fast tempo more. Thankyou for acknowledging my comment Didn't do much. Not better than we have
  24. Very good post and your make very valid points here
  25. Rovers want Lewis O'brien from Forest WBA and Boro also keen https://the72.co.uk/2023/01/29/blackburn-middlesbrough-west-brom-all-keen-on-nottingham-forest-summer-signing/
