  1. Do you honest think Mowbray isn't talking to Rothwell about his centre midfielder role and whats he needs to improve and get better game by game. of course they are talking and being honest about it He was right winger at Man Utd during his youth days there but he isn't a midfielder by trade by almost re-learning his trade as centre midfielder and over the last 18 months he has improve and got much better positional and tactically Rovers have had many conservations with these players and their agents over them signing new contracts and it appears that they aren't. Maybe people know more than you. They were few people around me in the Blackburn End saying that they had heard that Rothwell is off to Rangers and he will sign a pre contract with them. And now we have to go back over old ground and repeat the same debate/argument every week cos you refuse to accept that FFP prevent the club spending money and you refusal to accept that FFP rules are in place and we have to work within them. Plus maybe you realise that Football clubs at Championship level are having financial reset. Just at your link yesterday about Cardiff. . So why won't you accept that Rovers were well over the 39 million pounds threshold you are allow over 3 seasons.
  2. Carter has played right back before. Edun and Pickering aren't right back just like Nyambe isn't a left back either
  3. Wilder did prefer 3-5-2 at Sheffield United but Dolan isn't a left wing back and when he said Travis and Buckley in CM with Chapman and Dolan plus Dack in hold plus Brereton and Gallagher up front. How does that sound 4-4-2 to anyone Rovers best formation is 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formation
  4. Stokes back in the England squad for the Ashes is great news for him, his team mates and the Ashes
  5. McAvoy speaking to the media before the Liverpool cup game,
  6. JRC and Wharton will be playing tonight for under 23's https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1101162491?-11198:839
  7. I think you seen that with players individually improving like Dolan, Brereton, Pickering, Buckley for just example He works with them 1 on 1 basis and with the help of technology to show them where they gone wrong and what they should have done.
  8. Yes he made the same comments to BBC Lancashire post match. Mowbray was being honest and People will look at the negative comment instead of the final comment where he says "But he's trying hard to improve, he's getting better and with the ball he can be a sensation at times - as you saw today"
  9. Really? I think Johnson is very well thought off at Rovers. I hope he stay on after Mowbray's leaves Rovers You could have the same of Steven Reid at Forest being tarred with the Hughton coaching brush, But Cooper kept him on.
  10. Edun is left footed. If Nyambe is out then I would play Carter there
  11. Well according to local PNE reporter for Lancs Live there is no change and McAvoy will speak to media tomorrow
  12. But neither fir the club or what the fans wanted. Look or watch Neville's comments about Mourinho and his outbursts he has at every club. It happens at every club
  13. Interesting you ignore the points I've made on the last post like the mess Mourinho left there or the next manager fitting the squad there or the club
  14. Tuchel suits the Chelsea squad which is important part of the jigsaw which a Conte or Zidane don't fit the squad or the club. I believe Liverpool and Chelsea had better squad last season despite their league positions. Maybe look at the mess Mourinho left United in. Neville will know a lot more than we do about that. All depends who you would bring in and the best managers who would fit United are employed and unlikely to leave mid season
  15. Woah. Its appears that they will be more financial cuts there this season and next. But I expect alot of championship club will be similar tbh. It doesn't look a very attractive job for the next manager tbh. no money to spend and more cutbacks. Rely on academy players and free/loans signings. Can't see Wilder being interested in that job. I think they will go for someone like Michael Flynn or Bellamy with Bowen tbh.
  16. was it barely in mind Obefami moved to Swansea for 2 million pounds
  17. Cos I think they should give him to the end of the season and review the situation. They are 9 games in and barely in mind that Rolando and Varane have only been a couple of months. Despite signing these 3 players I don't feel they can match Man City or Chelsea in terms of quality of players. I wouldn't bring in Conte for example for the reasons I have previously highlighted. IU have given you 2 names of managers I would look to replace Ole with in the summer 2022 if needed I think Gary Neville is spot on exactly and what he says about Mourinho and Van Gaal tenure at the club took the club backwards massively and wasted so much money.
  18. Yes he has. But after the Mourinho being there, United was at rock bottom speaking to United fans I know. The fans in the ground weren't chanting for Ole to go at all during the game and they backed their team till the end. After signing Rolando, the United expectation was to win the league but they don't have the players to match Man City or Chelsea or Liverpool. Zidane had the some of the best players in the world and money after money to spend at Real Madrid. Can he done it with these players. I would say Guardiola picked the right club to go in Bayern after Barcelona. Conte is an excellent manager but I don't his management style or tactics suited Manchester players or the fans. They had this with 2 very high profile managers in Van Gaal and Mourinho. Look how that worked out. Spend millions and achieved little success. Conte left Juventus and Inter Milan over disagreements over transfers policy and not spending money. If you wanted to replace Ole then I would say you got to the end of the season to prove yourself and get top and win a trophy. The 2 names I would look in the summer is PSG's manager Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax's manager Erik Ten Hag if you want to replace Ole.
  19. Zidane only managed Real Madrid. Conte management style and tactics don't suit the players there. They had 2 high profile managers and neither ended well apart from spending stupid amount of money on awful players
  20. Well it appears that Ole will be staying if what Gary Neville was saying on commentary is correct. Personally I would stick with him and allow him to build this team. Sancho should be in this team.. The top 3 will be Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool in that order. Man United and Leicester fighting for 4th. Spurs and Everton aren't top quality yet
  21. This is part of Dolan's game I really enjoyed watching. He did 3 or 4 times yesterday
  22. United back 4 is all over the place. The players don't have a clue how to defend. United booed off the pitch and fans are giving it to the players and managers as the walked down the tunnel at half time. Big 45 minutes for United and Ole
  23. Well Done to Curtis Jones for not play acting and rolling around on the floor like alot of players would have done when Rolando kick the ball into his stomach/lower regions.
  24. Mark Hughes's days here as manager were fantastic and I will never forget them. He was top manager for Rovers
