  1. That's similar to what I read yesterday Well anything less than 15 million pounds bid we won't be selling given he has 19 months left on his contract technically with Rovers having 12 club option contract extension
  2. West Ham are the club as I read their interest in him yesterday online
  3. Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Wharton Pickering Travis Davenport Poveda Buckley Dolan Brereton-Diaz Subs:- Pears Edun Ayala Rothwell Johnson Butterworth Khadra
  4. Well I did respond actually and LT has told you it will give us more flexibility for next season. Given that the 39 million losses is over 4 years not 3 due to Covid. Plus @philisaid this in the summer aswell as other people. Well we have offered these players new improve contracts and if we had been in embargo then we couldn't offer them better financial terms. Cos I learnt more about the football league FFP rules and spoken to a couple of Rovers fans who had better knowledge of Rovers finances and us being close to being over FFP threshold
  5. Rovers linked to Lincoln striker who has 18 months left on his deal there. https://www.deepdaledigest.com/transfers/preston-anthony-scully-blackburn-lincoln-transfer/ https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/anthony-scully/profil/spieler/325216
  6. Linked to us several times by different people and article
  7. I've always like Anderlecht midfielder Josh Cullen when he was on loan at Charlton. Also I would have sign Jayson Molumby from Brighton on loan instead of Clarkson.
  8. Well if we hadn't sold the training ground to the owners we would have been breach of FFP rules and face penalties. Does you accept this @roversfan99that FFP is the reason why we didn't spend this past summer?
  9. Reading agree SIX point deduction in the Championship with the EFL... and could be hit with a further six points if the Royals breach spending rules again https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10212587/Reading-agree-SIX-point-Championship-deduction-EFL.html
  10. Well we have to agree to disagree on Smith. He is someone I like and would have been one of my top choices to replace Mowbray if he available. Pulis? Really. Yesterday man, tactics are well behind what is needed. Hodgson could have been a decent shout but does he want back in football at his age now. Bruce doesn't want back in football after his Newcastle experience supposedly. Posted links on this in PL thread. Allardyce is yesterday man again. Think Norwich need a fresh approach now after things have stale under Farke imo.
  11. They should have waited cos the PL money sufficiently went up just after we went down. Wonder if John Williams or the board recommend they shouldn't have sell and wait I've never mentioned Bury once in posts as their situation was a very different one to ours.
  12. We are being linked with him by several different sources..Time you accept we have an interest in him but other clubs are interested in him like Stoke and Middlesbrough Guess that's why we are looking at Ryan Hedges on a pre contract. I am aware of him not being a main striker. Had a good look into plus I've seen Ireland's 2 games
  13. Rovers are among the sides to have looked at non-league hot shot Ruben Rodrigues. The Notts County attacker has been in fine form for the National League side with seven goals in 15 appearances and has caught the eye of a number of EFL sides. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19722398.blackburn-rovers-monitoring-progress-non-league-hotshot-rodrigues/ Toulouse's striker Rhys Healey could be January target as we have interest in him last summer https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1104415169?-11198:839
  14. Well I don't know about the cut off point but they keep putting the money in up to yet
  15. Rothwell's move to Rangers looks off now Gerrard has moved on. Have you seen @Paul Mani's comments after his chat with Waggott?
  16. Maybe Farke is a better choice but surely they want to stay up and want to try their best in staying up.
  17. Maybe some day they will sell the club but they keep pumping the money in and I don't see them selling anytime soon since they recently bought the senior training ground. It appears they are happy to keep funding the club
  18. Wharton is already part of the squad so Lenihan needs replacing and thats why Rovers scouting team have been looking at Hearts centre back John Souttar. How is Dack or JRC a replacement for the striker Brereton? Pike is fine as back up right back but we need a new first choice right back
  19. Jack Walker was a Rovers fan. Did you forget that? I would like any new owner to have some connection to the club. But there is alot more I would know about his background, does he owned sports teams/clubs or has done in the past, financial background, how are funding the club? are they using their own money or borrowing it? plus alot more questions aswel why would Venkys put the club into administration when most of debt is owned to them plus they lose control of club which they wouldn't do.
  20. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19715966.blackburn-rovers-pushing-accelerate-development-under-18s/
  21. Does it matter about other clubs? Its all depends on the price that Venkys want and who would be interest in buying the club then. All depends on their business background why are they buying Rovers? are they a Blackburn Rovers supporter? do they have the finance to fund the club from their own money and not borrowed money to buy the club like some takeovers are done?
  22. I would say we need both tbh depending on the finances and squad places available. Plus who is sold in January if anyone need replacing. I suspect Nyambe and Rothwell will sign new contracts here shortly but Lenihan I suspect will be sold in January and I would hope we sign John Souttar from Hearts
  23. Yes alot of clubs have changed hands since then but we were very attractive club back then. Maybe Walkers family should have waited before selling us.
  24. very experience head coach and thats what Norwich want and need, Farke isn't good enough in the PL and it was right decision to get rid of him. Smith did a very good job at Brentford and Villa, Allardyce's days of managing clubs has gone nowadays. After retired from football after leaving Palace is where he should have stay and not gone back into management in my opinion.
