Refs at this level or any level in England aren't consistence anyway. I got used to the poor refereeing here now. Time Webb sorted it out now -

The players shown up today and dig in for the win. Sometimes the ugly wins are the best one. Plus taking into account that Rovers have played 3 games in 6 days and not much rotate in the team today was never going to entertaining affair. Not really any revamp would have stand up to them training on it in the last 2 or 3 weeks, 4 games in 21 days and this awful weather. Maybe we need to invest in a pitch at Brockhall with undersoil heating to allow them to train there and not at Ewood Park I never thought you were having a go at fans I have to disagree that he not good on the ball. Played some lovely passes today whether its was short and keeping simple or long passes find the targets. on the rash, I disagree. He made some good well timed tackles including a last ditch tackle to save a certain goal. Garrett is showing the potential I have seen he got. I want to keep seeing in the first team squad whether as starter or sub In some games we created a few good chances and in others granted. You see bits of the quick tempo and move and into the forward areas. Its work in progress from that viewpoint. JDT is building from back. Whilst he improve the attacking side and bring his the type of attacking players he wants and develop the young players here ? -

Reading and listening to JDT's comments on transfers they might be movement shortly cos of injuries and players who want regular football. On Hirst and Mola sounds like it very possibly that both might go back to parent club. Can imagine both want to play more than they have here. So, maybe Rovers would allow it to happen if we bring in replacements. I doubt whether we will get Archer from Villa on loan. Expect PNE would be his first choice. We have been linked with Brighton striker Deniz Undav from Brighton a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if we can do a deal or if the interest is still there. I would look at Ryan Hardie from Plymouth. 6 months left on his contract. Bigger question do we want a squad striker who can impact of the bench or first choice striker to be our 9 striker for years to come. I see people asked for more creatively in the final third. Why not look at signing Todd Cantwell from Norwich. 6 months left on his contract. Cheap deal to be done there and you have BBD's replacement if he does leave in the summer already at the club. Another suggestion would be Jamal Lowe from Bournemouth. Maybe loan deal. He has said publicly he has the final say whether a player joins or not Rovers. -

Morton and Garrett suits each other games. Morton is good in tight situations with the ball at his feet. He had a decent game. BBD looks miles off it today. In form BBD scores 2 of those chances today They do work on it on pattern of play in attacking areas and combinations as you see at times during the games. When we keep the tempo of passing high you can see it clearly Yes I heard a couple of people moaning alot in the first half about keeping the ball and trying to create space and play forward JDT has already said public he has the final say on whether a player signs here or not. 10 clean sheets this season. On the organisation point its a very fair one to make -

with 3 games in 6 days and the team not able to rotate much today game was just of those games which would be dull and a goal or 2 would settle it. Surprised how negative Cardiff played. Limited on the ball? he played some very clever short passes and good long passes. Plus he tackling in there was good to see. I have no idea why you would loan out someone who has performed like that. Would be a waste not to use him here now and the fiture. what do you expect after 4 games in 21 days on the pitch, plus they have been training on during the freezing weather then rain in the last few days plus having the under soil heating on. About 12k Rovers fans on today. where they some empty seats near you from season ticket holders? Good effort to nearly 3k walk ons fans today considering early kick off, New Year Day and the weather conditions. -

Pleased to win that game. Not the best game for a neutral fan but a win is a win. Garrett My man of the match. Passes well whether short or long, close down and put made plenty of tackles including a goal saving tackle. Pleased for him. Hyam also very good. BBD should have square it for Adam Wharton to score. Also he should have shouted the ball solo then Gallagher would have left it.. A win is a win. Cardiff came very defensive and surprised they didn't go more attacking with their league position The New Year starts with a win. Well done Rovers, players and JDT. -

He has been in charge of them for 9 games only, abit early to start aligning as the next messiah. Have Everton got money to spend and why recalled Simms from Everton if they want BBD. Still don't see any team paying the money we want again. -

Our passing tempo and quickness in moving the ball was entertaining and the movement of the front 4 was good. -

I could argue that our best results have come with back 4 like Swansea away, Blackpool away, Norwich away. For me, you midfield would be wide open and no holding midfield. Also Dack hasn't got the legs to play in midfield 2. He is number 10 or not -

Exactly Paul. We are only barely 6 months into this new footballing strategy and people are expecting instant results. the recruitment department has had to be rebuild by Broughton and Williams. They now got what they want in terms of scouting, video analysis and date researching. Over the coming years we will see this improving the quality of signings we bring in as long as we stick with it. Excellent post and please keep them coming Blimey, we are only 6 months into the plan. This is long term strategy and need patience and time from all fans. Didn't we sell Armstrong for 15 million? Why would you sell your key player BBD for such low ball offer? We barely got offers above what we paid for him last summer -

Of course Results are important in any Football but so is building a team that JDT wants and playing a style he wants. If we finish top 10 this season I think it would a good one considering the amount of changes that happens in the Footballing key personal and us having a new footballing strategy. Top 6 would be excellent and promotion would be awesome. I rather go up and stay up. Plus The EFL would like to see the PL clubs who get relegated not received Parachute payments anymore. I would rather follow the Brighton or Southampton model than Watford one. I called for Mowbray to go in February 2021 after the Barnsley game. So your points are mute ones to be honest. You keep posting about Miller if you want and so concerned. never expected it to be turnover by them lets be realistic. Never a red in million years but no surprised in this country with refereeing standards at an all time low and Referees at Championship level are abysmal at best Well Miller they did and other fans made similar complaints at the game to the police and to her about Samba's behaviour. She submitted a report to Blackburn Rovers, the UK Football Policing Unit & the EFL. Plus, also spoke to the Nottingham Forest Dedicated Football Officer who works at Nottinghamshire Police regarding their behaviour who made contact with the Club last night and Blackburn Rovers Ground Safety Officer (GSO) is also going to make contact with Nottingham Forest regarding this behaviour. -

Depends on Gallagher form. People keep saying send him back. Can we is the question and also does Hirst want to stay here for the season or not? I would keep him here. weak midfield with no holding midfield and we will get outnumbered in midfield and Cardiff will play with 1 striker so do you really need 3 centre backs? Cos the ref was another appalling official from the PGMOL. Its time ex pro's or players who don't make the level become refs as they would understand the game much better -

These posts are my opinion from a passionate Rovers fan who will continue and support this club through the good and bad times and will never give up on Rovers or stop being positive about Rovers full yime. We don't agree so we need to agree to disagree here Plus you don't sell your best players on the cheap. you would have done. -

looking forward to this game and we need to carry the performance we shown in the first half. Quick tempo with our passing and the front 4 with plenty of movement. I also told you that Gallagher is 1st choice for the number 9 striker position for me. -

Tom Sutton joined from Oxford. Luke Griffin from Hibs, Gus Williams from the Welsh FA, Luke Evans from Swansea, Paul Aladejare joined from Arsenal. Not a set of misfits that you suggest is it? Rovers advertised the job on their website and on a number of recruitment websites which is the normal surely? -

I want to see wins on the board. Yes I would like to play attacking football and we witness that in the first half about boro where our passing and tempo was back to the way it was before. Quick, intensity and plenty of movement. so you got your opinion and that its. Whilst mine is different and based on looking at the player through a number of years. -

I got the result out of my system as soon as I was at work that night. I don't carry angry or disappointed for long after bad results. Yes he is there. I think he had a trial where he did well before he signed here Very good points made here Paul. One of the best post I've seen on here for a long time -

I see this as transition season while the new footballing management settle in and we improve and grow our recruitment. I want like promotion with 2 to 3 seasons similar to Norwich under Webber and Farke, but when we get promote I want to stay there and not be yo-yo club but follow Brighton and Southampton blueprint Mowbray has gone, Rovers have moved on from his time here, time you did. Its a yellow card at best as @DaveyB posted on here the rules Yes me and number of other Rovers fans reported the Forest keeper for inciting the Rovers fans with his actions to the Rovers dedicated police officer Susan Moore. I also contacted Rovers and Rovers fan forum member @only2garnersabout it. Samba was spoken to about his actions. Like I said he If I have a problem I will do something about and contact the correct people whether its Football, or other things Time and patience is given when you trying to implement a new footballing strategy to make us get promote and stay there not be a yo-yo club. each person will judge what they want for themselves and each to their own.
