  1. We see OldEwoodBlue but I don't see anything coming before 2022 if at all and Johnson will go back parliament for approval if so. Thats my opinion. I have set out my opinion in the thread of the Coronavirus
  2. Matty, believe what you want but Parliament need to vote on any new measures including closing football stadiums
  3. that report is 3 months old and there is newer one in November but I don't any new rules being in place before New Year and given that PM Johnson and leader of the house Rees-Mogg have promised any new restrictions must go back Parliament first for a vote.
  4. The front 2 stay wide some of the time and move in central some of the time. They played looks for gaps around the wide centre backs and not playing against middle centre back in their back 3 on Saturday if his injury had clean up and he was match fit then gamble on him. Rovers might well take that risk.
  5. I've been down to the Rovers club shop today and quite a few people getting FA cup tickets for Wigan including my missus for me as Christmas present
  6. I believe any new measures will required Parliament to vote in the measures which given that Parliament hasn't been recalled so far and it would take 2 days to recalled them then its like any new measures won't be in place until the new year. That's cos the Mayor of London is in charge of Trafalgar square new years event. Where Shutting down sporting events or pubs or restaurants would need a decision from Government then Parliament to vote
  7. Nixon said that we are looking at 2 loan signings. A forward and extra midfield. So I wonder if the forward will be number 9 type or someone who can the centre role and wide forward role.
  8. Merry Christmas and Happy new Year to your and your family
  9. I believe Newcastle are chasing Tripper and Lingard who would be very good signings. Newcastle need 4 or 5 signings cos the weaknesses within the squad. Burnley need to be looking to a couple of players to sign. What did you think of my signings suggestions?
  10. I will address your points in the correct thread which is the Coronavirus thread
  11. But the PL and its clubs aren't shutting the grounds but it will be a Government decision. Well I was there on Saturday and it was more than safe. What the point in having vaccine passports, wearing face masks and people get vaccination if we have another lockdown?
  12. Government haven't decided anything yet plus any new restrictions will need Parliament approve.
  13. Looks like we are Sky main game on Sky Football channel(403)
  14. Sheffield United have been excellent so far. Heckingbottom has gone back to 3 at the back and it suits the squad there
  15. Brilliant podcast. Very enjoyable to listen. Our Academy seems to go from strength to strength
  16. Its like 3 from 6 clubs in my opinion. Those clubs being Norwich, Newcastle, Burnley, Watford, Leeds and Southampton. I think alot hinges on the impact of the Transfer window and how clubs recruit then. I expect Newcastle will sign 4 or 5 players, Watford a couple of signings, Leeds maybe 1 or 2 Guess it depends on your budget. There is some good players out there you should be able to afford. I don't know much about the scouting you do or where or how much Mike Rigg is involved in your scouting, recruitment and transfers decisions. Maybe look at someone like Woodrow from Barnsley or Dike who was on loan at Barnsley last season from a MLS club or Luton striker Elijah Anuoluwapo Adebayo or PNE striker Emil Riis Jakobsen
  17. I rather not lose members of this current squad who are out of contract despite me not being Nyambe's biggest fan but these players have been offered new improve contracts offers by the club and we have been talks for nearly 18 months. Hopefully they can get a deals done before end of the season but I don't see any being linked to other Championship clubs plus are they going to get better financial offers given that most championship clubs are having a financial reset now
  18. Should be looking for 3 points from this game. It would be the same team as Saturday and I see no reason to change Has Hull takeover happen?
  19. Fair enough pal. Are you worry that if you don't add signings then you will facing relegation this season?
  20. Guys I have nothing more to add to my previous post on this.
  21. Football does matter to people and their well being including their mental and social health. If you don't want attend then make your choice and stay at home and lock the doors. Thats your choice but people who want to attend should be allow to Given that you need to double jabbed or have a negative test to attend games. It no more a risk then going Christmas shopping in Manchester or going food Shopping.
