Ennis played in 45 games last season. Does that really sound injury prone to you? He passed his medical here aswell. He just seems unlucky with injuries If he wasn't happy here surely he would walk out but he hasn't. If everything he has accepted the challenge and he does enjoy developing young players. His man management is excellent and I do feel that we should be targeting a playoff place this season.

From what we know. We recieved 3 offers. Sevilla and Nice £8m offers and Fulham offered 6m plus 4m in add ons. Some people would have sold him for that, some people wouldn't. Also take into account the fact that appointed GB and JDT mid summer and with no recruitment team in place. So would have to bring in replacement. Did GB and JDT want to sell him either? Did BBD want to leave last summer? Also GB did say that when he join the club he was told BBD would leave at the end of the season.

It's disgraceful action shutting the main stand at Ewood Park. The saving the club will be making will be small in terms of cost. Increase of trying to increase revenue it's cost savings at all the time.

Well listened to the RoversTv and Radio Lancs and I think GB was open, honest and very good communication. He fully explained everything and every situation. The recruitment department is now organised and we are all over Europe which makes logical sense with the quality players out there, our Director of Football and Head Coach background and knowledge.. same but my worry is about who could we potential attract as new owner or owners My most important questions for any potential owners would be, is how they would fund the club, are they rich and can they fund the club, what their short, medium and long term plans for club, what sort of executive team would they appoint in certain roles?

Just reading the thread for the first time and I don't anything about tax laws or investigations happening, etc so can't comment on this. I have said in the past that any new owner would need to pay £60 million pounds in the first year of owning Rovers. £25m for buying the club, £20m for buying the STC back and then £15m to cover the losses in the first year, then within the first 12 months appoint a new CEO Deputy CEO, new commercial and marketing leader to improve the commercial operation and increase revenue by millions. It would take 6 to 12 months to appoint them and implant this sort of commercial operation I agree they would have to right off the debt. Hopeful so. The bigger question is who would be interest in buying Rovers and and what experience have they got in running Sports/football team?

Fair enough I think he might play more than we think. Wharton didn't do great in the situation for the 3rd goal either. Poor header from experience player. I would expect better. We have to see him when he plays. From what clips I have seen he looks a class player. I think we might just have a special player on our hands here
