  1. Should we start a January transfer window already? Looks like Rovers are already line up a replacement for BBD and are looking at Sunderland's striker Ross Stewart who is out of contract in summer 2023. He hasn't signed a new contract at Sunderland yet and Rovers have the wages to offer for him the sort of contract. Blackburn plot transfer swoop for Sunderland’s Ross Stewart if in-demand Ben Brereton Diaz leaves in January window | The Sun He would be very good signing if it happens
  2. My summary is fair and explained the game I has saw it. If you disagree with my summary that is fine by me but I am not going to single any player for any particular criticism tonight. I have already explained what I said he did well just like his Blackpool game performance. His link up is decent enough, played one good pass and some good overall touches, plus his movement. Should have done better with his chance. If you disagree that fine by me just like I completely disagree with comments about Hirst performance Off the pace from the final whistle despite us creating a chance in the first few minutes of the game. Another comment that is wrong
  3. Vale had an impact on the game, some good link up play tonight and shown again why JDT likes him. Markanday isn't a number 9 striker, is he?
  4. I totally there I think Hirst showed promise and will only get better as he trained and plays with his teammates.
  5. Just got back from the game and I am disappointed with the result and performances today. we started the game well and should have scored in the opening 5 minutes with Dack and Hedges shots, but Bristol City came in the game and created a few good chances. Rovers just couldn't get going and we lack tempo and bite today in the first half. Hirst had a great chance to scored but didn't. Bristol City took a deserved lead after catching us on the counter. Second half we made 2 changes and started ok but then Bristol City caught us on the counter again with another goal. Dolan scored and it was good ball by Edun to Dolan who scored the goal. Good finish by him. Then we again shot ourselves by conceded again. Rovers kept going and scored again from Good pass by Dolan and Brereton-Diaz did the rest. Shamed we did keep at 2-1 for more than we did cos it could have different game. Hirst had a decent game with a couple of good runs, put himself about and had a great chance to score. I was surprised he was taken off when he was, and I would have taken Adam Wharton off for Vale and gone 2 up front with Buckley and Morton in centre midfield. Vale, Edun Dolan and Buckley had an impacted on the game. Dolan scored a goal and assist today. Vale's movement and link up play helped the team. Buckley can spot a pass. Edun won the ball back and set Dolan up for his goal. I thought Hyam shown why we signed despite us conceding 3 and losing. Bristol City front 3 used their clever movement and runs to exposed our back 4 and get down the side/gap between the Full back and centre back. They deserved the win. Rovers kept going and fighting to the last minute and not the result I wanted but we moved to the next game and lets go and beat Wigan next Saturday. Onwards and upwards. JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪ Was it Dolan fault it didn't or down to the head coach then?
  6. Yes. I would Start Hirst today but if Dolan start there then I would have no problem with it cos he can press the ball high and highlighted games where it works.
  7. All down to the individual attitude to life. My attitude has always work for me You weren’t saying last season when he kept 3 clean sheet back to back. Very quick to jump on him after one bad game
  8. Dolan is playing the number 9 role when we want press from the front. He is ideal for him. Also worked last season at times against Swansea and Cardiff. Also worked on Wednesday
  9. Who knows what is going to happen by BBD, he might sign a new contract, or he might a pre contract with foreign club. Who knows, But we are much better team with him here and also to factor in that no club bid anywhere near the fee we wanted. If Mola or Hirst performed well enough, then we sign them permanently. Plus, also to factor in several young players like Adam Wharton, Jack Vale. Ash Phillips will have learnt and develop in the next 9 months. Just listened to JDT interview today speaking about the project, new signings and developing the young players
  10. I have based on 4 factors and these clubs who wanted know what the price was so I bid properly or feck off. I never said it been a prefect transfer window have I, but said its been good transfer window as I said yesterday with sensible and logic signings who wanted and not going for players we didn't want. Why do you struggle to accept my point of view? I seen enough of Brittain and hyam to know they were good solid signings. I didn't know much about Szmodics, Morton and Hirst. Never heard about Mola before. I always look at the positive side and always look at every situation as half full glass attitude instead of half empty. I see Rovers and DoF/head coach working to plan and bringing in players that fit this plan I don't get this need for another keeper when we already got 2 good keepers to back up Kaminski. We could have just kept Brown to be back up Brittain instead of another signing. Edun is already the competition for Pickering at left back.
  11. far too early to judge. Played well in his first 2 games. I want to see more of him, and I think we will cos I don't think Dack can play every game and we still have to manage his game time and fitness. He will never be old Dack but that's to be expected about two serious injuries.
  12. Cos they don't have a goalscorer in the front line. Grant seems off the boil.
  13. Time for Brook to get his chance now
  14. I think a top 10 finish in JDT would be a very good start considering a number of factors. They are the 3 key appointments in the footballing structure at the start of the summer that needed filling and we have done that. Plus, we made 6 signings. Next season I would expect top 6 finish. . I see this season as work in progress and we are stage 2 of the project now. I don't agree that we have to overachieve to get promoted if we have a proper footballing strategy which we appear to have now in place.
  15. how many chances do WBA need to score? They lack a quality number 9
  16. I blamed it on me being tired after a very busy night shift at work I will always be Continuing and continuous optimism and positive outlook on Rovers and life. I see no reason to be other way
  17. aren't most managers and head coach, but the bit you miss out is he is very happy with the signings and how hard GB and recruitment team have worked this summer.
  18. We didn't get more in offers tho by these clubs plus by late bidding means it wasn't going to happen. These clubs have needed striker for weeks so its they own fault. No thanks cos I think he is worth more considering these 4 factors. These factors being, he is key player for this team, bringing in a suitable replacement, he has just scored 22 goals last season and he is Chilean international where he has scored important goals at that level. No not really, Like I said yesterday its been a good transfer window where we make 6 signings including 3 permanent, 2 loans with option to buy and 1 loan. Hyam and Brittain are solid signings, and I am very pleased with them being here. Morton you can see his qualities already and looks good and confident on the ball. Hirst looks good from what I have seen on clips, but I am looking forward to seeing him tomorrow and what he can bring this team. I don't know much on Mola but from what he and JDT has said he can play 3 or 4 positions so adds adaptability to the team. Szmodics played very well in his first 2 games but not since so It will be interesting to see where he fits into the team and how JDT plays it in the coming months. Yes I would have kept Brown and loan JRC out but Rovers did it the other way. No I don't think we are lacking in any areas cos our young players like Phillips, Adam Wharton, Garrett and Vale have showed they can play in this squad already. I wonder if it foreign player? What was the Stoke offer for Nambe? I would have sold Rothwell in January if we bring in a replacement, but I can understand why they didn't.
  19. Challenging for top 6 whilst allowing this team to develop and grow under JDT and let this project developed I think we deffo get top 10 why when you consider everything JDT about this being a project and needed 2 or 3 windows to get his team in place.
  20. Its appears it gone very well so far. Keeping Brownhill is massive for you. It will be interesting to see how you develop and how Kompany keeps players happy. It will be interesting game tonight
  21. My apology for the mis spelling of it. I hold my hands up.
  22. I am delighted by this and another key player signing a new contract here following Kaminski and Travis
