Premier League 22-23

Goal line technology only VAR is still based on people opinion in those incidents. VAR is causing problems every week cos it still based on people opinions and is taking far too long to make a decision and still no communication to fans inside the stadium I would scrap it and go back to the old system which was better for me. -
no he wouldn't but he has full trust and confidence in what City officials including the same CEO and DoF he worked with at Barca

dropping Thomas? -
Its totally farcical that the EFL hasn't sorted this out yet. They are completely waste of time with most things. They are more bothered about streaming TV games from 2024/25 season which will not help stadium attendances one bit. 2 very good excellent posts there @Mike E thanks for the info JH

I tell you how to improve VAR system be scraping it. Causes no end of problems with the game and massive time delay to the game. How VAR didn't given handball for Soucek great save I don't know -

January Transfer Window.
chaddyrovers replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Not really as we are 2 years by the summer. We have to be smart in recruitment and look to sign early with signings this summer targeting quality free transfers and low cost signings. Brittain quality was well know to anyone who watched Championship. Hardly Mowbray's list is it since the current recruitment team wasn't even at the club then. -

Needs improvements in the final third for sure but defensive we have been quite solid. The work for this summer recruitment is under away now I bet. Every transfer window is a tough one. Hedges has scored this season. -

PNE wanted 8 million pounds last summer after Boro wanted him. I'm starting to think we should sell Gallagher in the summer now and bring in 2 strikers this summer. I would be looking at Josh Maja who we almost signed 18 months ago this summer on a free -

I wouldn't call us a negative team at all but a very well drilled team when defending but need improves in attacking areas and scoring goals. Yes I would be looking for minimal of 2 strikers and 1 left winger signings in the summer. -

It was reasonable question to ask on a Footballing messageboard and we are talking football. If people don't want read then don't read it but there is no squabble going on just a debate/chat on football. -

When you appointing a manager/head coach who look for someone who suits the squad and what the strengths of the team is. lets see if Southampton have someone lined up first to take over. No idea on Schreuder but lets see if they can get this one over the line. Rumours he was there today watching Leeds -

They aren't negative but just basic tactical approach to playing against 3-4-3 formation vs 4-2-3-1 formation. or maybe they are other things going on that we shouldn't know about. I think he is out of form and maybe carrying an injury. Not once has he ever said he wanted out of Rovers at any point this season -

strange question to be asked on Rovers fans forum. Honest answer I don't know if I would given the current circumstances at either club and whether he would suit the squad and the strengths of the squad suits him. Looks like Leeds are going to appoint former Ajax head coach Alfred Schreuder who I don't know anything about. I have no idea who Southampton will appoint but I would appoint Jesse Marsch or Kjetil Knutsen. -

The recruitment team don't make signings tho. They scout, research, data analysed potential signings then recommend players who they we should target but its down to GB to sign them and he took full responsibility for the failing of striker signing. on Tomasson's negative tactics, I wouldn't say that they are negative but fairly logical if you look at it from tactical point of view. Against Wigan JDT wanted his back 4 to keep Wigan front 3 quiet which they did but it was the responsibility of our wide players to track their wing backs back when defensive which is fairly standard thing to do. on playing BBD up front, I wouldn't for the WBA game as I would rest him and give him a break. I would play Dolan up front with Thomas, Dack and Hedges in behind with Travis and Buckley in centre midfield No he hasn't but is there factors we don't know about like maybe carrying an injury for example purposes -

No I don't. BBD is having a period of bad form currently but that happens in football. Not for me in his current form. He needs a rest. For me that would be the next game. What the recruitment team got to do with the form of BBD? -

Bielsa doesn't take over at clubs during the season. never has never will. Sam Allardyce coming back again in football at the age of 67 I don't see. I expected a left field appointment myself. -

given his form recently, I would put him on the bench. Doesn't look himself and given the last few weeks no wonder he doesn't look himself in games, -

It was strange appointment in the first place by Southampton and why they even looked at him in the first place. I wonder who next they will go for. -

I would drop BBD for next game and play Hedges there. Yet we are still create some chances but we lack that Striker to stretch the play until the summer. Watford form going into this wasn't great 7 points from their last 6 games. I can say that based on the game I listened to on Radio Lancs, people comments at the game but I would expect them to dominate the game given their squad quality -

chaddyrovers replied to Polky's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
He is playing left of a three behind a main striker and he has to track the right back/wing back into defensive areas Is BBD going to be able to play the main number 9 role cos he hasn't be effective when he has played there? Watford came on strong second half but this was surely expecting probably receiving bashing from Bilic over their first half performance. People were expecting us to get beat and hammering including yourself. So to come out from this game with well deserved draw is a positive as has a number of players performances -

Wigan beat Huddersfield who looked doomed to dropping into league 1. Blackpool and Rotherham drew nil nil. Cardiff lose at home to Boro and Stoke only draw to Hull. Look like any 3 from 6 teams to go down
