Championship - 22-23

That in my opinion should have more time and patience after he was given the job 4 days before the season starts. He was right choice 8 games ago. Well see who they go for but their squad ain't great. One or 2 quality players but after that mid table championship players at best. -

I would still use 4-2-3-1 in games. I'm not a fan of playing 3-4-3 but we were excellent against Watford -

I don't think anyone planned for Corberan to leave when he did. They gave him the job so far he should have given more time unless there is something we don't know about. Their squad isn't top 6 and I would say it's around bottom 6 squad. No strikers now with Simms going off injured Bottom 5 now -

I think it's clear to see that his hand moves into Travis stomach/lower chest area so defiantly deserved further investigating by the match officials people Mentioned post match? by who? JDT or by some fans on here? -

9 games I think so given he had no pre-season with the squad to bring his ideas and style to the team. Given that they lost the playoff final and Corberan leaving days before the season starts I think a massive struggled should have been expect to be quite honest. Panicked decision? Well, they say it was planned that Danny Schofield would get the head coach when he left the club but yet again club panics into another sacking instead of given them time and patience. Anyway, it's happened now. I stand by my Wagner point tho, I think they would be best appointing someone who is having success at lower leagues but can make the step up and suits the squad they have -

I've watched it 20 times and struggle to see a clear offside, but I will take it given several wrong decisions in recent games. My biggest complaint is some form of communication from the ref which could be broadcast to the crowd why it's not be given. We have plenty of squad depth and can play 2 very different formations which listening and read JDT's post-match comments he wants the options to play different formations in different games with us playing the same style of play. Szmodics, Vale, Edun, Gallagher and Markanday all missed out on the squad for different reasons. I don't include JRC has I don't see him playing here again first team wise after JDT comments last week about him. His time here is done. Anyone not in the 18 squad well its down to them to train well in training and push their way into 18-man squad. really? Pedro hand moves into Travis's stomach which is clear to see on the footage and let's hope he is ban for 3 games. No reaction? did you not seem JDT's reaction? The 4th official had a clear view of it. so why no decision from him again? -

Plenty of 8's for the players who started the game apart from Hyam who I gave MOTM and 9 out of 10 and Kaminski who I gave 7. I think he was badly let down his players last night and how they performed for him. They have a good squad, but I don't think it's on Fulham level from last season I do would if it was offside or a foul on Rovers player. This is where some form of communicate from Officials to the fans would be welcome like they do in Rugby Union or League I believe, surely this wouldn't be hard to do? I think alot of it was down to how we started the game and played from minute 1. very good points Joe made they, we can press against teams like them. -

Huddersfield have sacked their first team head coach Danny Schofield after only 9 games in charge. I think it's very harsh on him given the circumstances he got the job and the Huddersfield statement on why they picked him to replace their previous head coach. Rumours are David Wagner is coming back which I'm surprised by that given why and when he walked out on them when the going got tough! I think they would be better good young coach like Cambridge boss Mark Bonner or Bolton boss Ian Evatt -

No I haven't discarded your comments about the contract's lengths but like I said I rather have BBD than Riis who I think is overpaid at 8 million for me. I like Ross Stewart as striker, But I want to see how George Hirst does this season. I think he might to prove his worth and be worth buying at the end of the season. -

Excellent win and performance by the players and JDT got his team selection and tactics spot on. From start to finish the team performs and we see evidence tonight of JDT wants to play with and without the ball. Carter was excellent at Right back and back 3 was solid as rock and didn't allow Watford forwards to have any sort of impact on the game. Pickering had a good game. Front 3 had impact on the game and delighted Hedges got his first goal for us. BBD had a few chances tonight and shown his class and why he is important to this team under JDT. Dolan is developing, proving his worth to this team and delivering in terms of performance, goals and assists now. Onwards and Upwards for Rovers, let's go and beat Luton on Saturday now JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪ -

Well Nixon gets alot of stories like we seen over the summer. Riis isn't worth the fee PNE wanted for him. JDT also said he can a number of positions in the same interview -

Well, we have to agree to disagree on this cos we aren't going to agree on it Like I said I was using Rhys Healey as example purposes only, clearly you missed that point. Ross Stewart is someone who Rovers are looking at and is out of contract in the summer. Riis was priced about 8 million which is more than double his worth in my opinion. there is nothing naive at taking people comments has the truth, whilst you always don't. Don't agree there, Buckley started the season there. We have 6 options for the centre midfield options. These being Lewis Travis, John Buckley, Tyler Morton, Adam Wharton, Clinton Mola and Jake Garrett. -

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Gregg Broughton said Hirst was our first choice target in the striker and we have been linked to him several times over the summer. Hirst and JDT both confirmed that they been talks for weeks before hand. Do you have anything that can be used to disapprove this not for me, cos Buckley has replaced Rothwell positional and Szmodics has replaced Buckley in the 10 role. I want to see more of Szmodics in action in the role we signed him to play in and with us playing a number 9 striker aswell. It's my opinion and you should know how I look at life and everything give how long we discussed and debate on here and twitter. -

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
For me, we made the right decisions to reject these lower offers in my opinion for him considering he scored 22 goals last season, is international player scoring goals at that level, one of our key players and how much a good replacement would cost. He might leave in January which we haven't mention yet. I'm confident that Hyam and Brittain will be good signings and my opinion is based on their performances I've seen this season and before they joined here. That a fair point on fee and his record at this level but clearly Rovers scouts, GB and JDT have seen things they like about the players and the attributes he can bring to the team and impact on the season, but my own opinion is I want to see more of him playing and playing the role he was signed for. I also think we have money left over to spend in January. If you replacing him then would you go for goal scorer striker for Healey or Maja for example purpose only or left side attacker like Dembele or Lowe from Bournemouth for example purpose only? -

Hirst was our first choice striker all summer and from comments from JDT and Hirst this deal has been pipeline for a number of weeks. This is loan to buy which is sensible and logically move by us. If he performs, we sign him. This signing shouldn't block Jack Vale pathway has they are our main 2 strikers at the minute Aren't Hyam and Brittain upgrades on Lenihan(given his form at Boro currently) and Nyambe(who left us for cheap 1 year deal at Wigan)? is Morton downgrade on Johnson or Davenport? not for me. Too early to judge Hirst or Mola yet. I want to see more of Szmodics before passing comment on the overall signing Agree with all this and I can't believe how he is being towards Gregg Broughton who for me has a very positive impact on the club since his appointment. Seems to be making good appointments to the staff of the football side of the club
