  1. Fifa shouldn't have awarded the world cup to Qatar when they knew it couldn't be played there in the Summer like other world cups (source on this is Netflix documentary on FIFA), it should have been awarded to USA. They have allowed domestic football to be affected by this world cup being played in November and December.
  2. I am fully aware of previous transfers there, but those 2 players had very little impact at Everton
  3. Looks unlikely either Malan or Wood will be fit for final so its will the same 11 for the final. Buttler, Stokes, Rashid and Curran are our key players for tomorrow final in my opinion.
  4. None. I will be Ribeye steak, chips, onion rings, peppers and garlic mushrooms whether we win, lose or draw on Sunday
  5. I don't agree at all. I hope you get behind England cricket team on Sunday and don't write them off so quickly as you have done on plenty of occasions which then they proved you wrong
  6. You did continue to back his failed tactics that cost us our playoff place. Anyway, I will leave it there now. Mowbray has left us and we now have an upgrade on him. So, I would now rather focus on the present and future not on the past under Mowbray. We moved on and he moved on. I am pleased that JDT understand what the Burnley game means to the fans and the club. I really hope him, and the players can deliver a win on Sunday for the fans, the club and we are go top of the league when we have this 5-week break I just moved on now. The discussion is going nowhere with you and I don't want to keep going over and over the point. I leave it there now
  7. Maybe read at what I said which is my own point of view prices. Other people situations are different. I have already said that all my questions were answered fully. How many more times do I need say that? I said I didn't raise my ideas of different tickets offers the club could do as that wasn't what my meeting was about. One point that has changed since the meeting is Rovers have kept the staff list up to date now instead of it containing staff members on the list that have left us. Staff | rovers.co.uk
  8. the point I was showing was other sporting events are expensive as it shown. Rovers could have maybe done more if you think the main reason people haven't bought a ST in last few years, but other factors come into it like Winning games and performances on the pitch. Interesting idea.
  9. From myself point of view, I think the prices Rovers charge is fair enough cos of my financial situation but reading on here that some people think that the match day prices, and season tickets prices are too expensive or not enough different options or incentivises are done by the club. This is why I have said few times about engaging with Rovers management and put your thoughts and ideas on these issues to them. Wrong again Matty, Steve answered my questions fully and its was good positive conservation where I put all my questions on the issues I was there to discussed was done. Maybe try doing something instead of doing nothing but complain and whinge on here day after day. Don't forget it's your club that you are supporter and stakeholder in for many years in the past and many years in the future.
  10. Well if my arguments are stupid why do you keep replying to them? You know Mowbray was far too stubbornness over his formations and unwillingness to change formation last season but yet you continue to back Mowbray over his formation was right despite it not working and we weren't picking enough points. You don't need to worry about me Matty, I am good mood looking forward to Sunday game already.
  11. Maybe the late payment issue one of the main problems with the playing squad worrying over this issue and being able to pay their bills. It will be interesting to see if they appoint a better manager and I will ask you what your opinion is of their next managerial appointment Rovers were loyal to Mowbray over the years, maybe looking back now far too loyal. I have already explained twice to you twice why Wigan should have shown loyalty to him. So maybe just accept my opinion even if you disagree with.
  12. I also gave comparison to other football clubs of their prices for match day prices which most of similar to ours. Its your club that your support so you can engage and suggestion ideas or opinions. Do you never suggest ideas or opinions on how your workplace could be run better or what improvements could be made by the company? same situation with your football club. Yes true but I was wonder what other football league clubs within 40 miles of myself were charging for their next league game and most were similar to ours prices. Already dealt with that point. This is your club you support, and Rovers are more than welcoming at meeting fans and listening to their opinions and problems or complaints about this. Do you not suggest ideas or opinions to your workplace or management how your job or shift could be improved or run better or more efficient? You have a complaint over the goal music now being use, but do you ever make contact to Rovers about it or to even find why goal music is being played at Rovers now?
  13. It's the cost of match day prices at other local clubs and also for other sporting and social events people will want to do,
  14. Well, if you disagree so much with what Rovers are charging for match day prices then do something about it instead of just complaining on here and arrange a face-to-face meeting with Rovers management. It's embarrassing the lengths you go to complain and moan on here but do absolutely nothing about it your problems with match day ticket prices. I outlined a number of different football league clubs within 40 miles of me and their tickets prices which most are similar to Rovers match day prices. Yes, they might be one off event, but the point still stands that most sporting or social events are expensive things.
  15. Nothing surprises with that club anyone. It's not naive but it's an opinion which you disagree with. Stop with this Naive BS cos its boring now. I have outlined the reasons why I would keep him, and I think it's bizarre decision to sacked him plus they only gave him a new contract 3 weeks ago and the fact they have bigger financial problems like paying their staff on time. On Ferguson, I was willing to give him a chance here if he was appointed here. I don't know what he would be like as number 1 and the man making the decisions.
  16. Depends on whether you think its high prices for games whether you consider prices for other sporting events or Comedy shows. Its £35 plus if I want to watch Peter Kay comedy show next March in Birmingham or £408 for a race day ticket at F1 grand prix at Silverstone in July 2023 or a ticket for the first day of Test match at Old Trafford is £74 for the Ashes Test match in July.
  17. Stubborn over tactics that weren't working, and it was clear to see. He kept switching to 4-2-3-1 formation during this spell. Games like Derby at home, Stoke at home. It was clear his 3-4-3 formation wasn't working and some of us were saying on here like myself whilst you were dead against any change of formation, shame our head coach Mowbray or you didn't realise this. You quickly forget the Derby game when Mowbray started Johnson as false 9. Given that you haven't seen us win this season cos we lost all 5 games you attend. JDT is very adaptable at changing formation or style of play. Look how he played Hedges on the right and Brittain on the left cos how Sunderland wide players like to cut inside.
  18. Most clubs are charging between £25 to £30 per game, PNE prices are between £28 to £30. Huddersfield are charging £25; Wigan are charging £29 pounds for tomorrow with Blackpool. In League 1, Stanley is charging £25 for their home game tomorrow against Sheffield Wednesday, In league 2, Bradford is charged £20 per game if you buy before the day then its £25 on the day. In the Premier League, Man City prices for tomorrow game against Brentford is £48 to £50.
  19. Well if you disagree Matty that fine by me.
  20. Mowbray would bottle it and bring on players who the fans who chant for in the second half. Managers like JDT or Hughes wouldn't. Of course, Mowbray was bothered by what fans thought but he thought he was always right and his stubbornness in unwilling to accept that he was wrong and tactical change was needed or playing a different player. Look at Derby game last season at home when he didn't like fans booing of him playing Johnson as false 9 and him sulking all second half.
  21. Good for Leeds but I don't see Rovers selling him in January. Plus look at when the owners wouldn't sell Rothwell last January and JDT wouldn't want to sell him either IMO. Key Player under JDT and I think selling him would have a huge negative impact on the club aswell and our promotion hopes for this season
  22. I always like Lampard as a player. On Everton, I think they have enough quality players to reach 10th to 13th positions this season. So you don't think having Lampard isn't a pull for player when he has different offers for clubs to consider?
  23. I do see them making a better appointment than Richardson. Duncan Ferguson is currently the odds-on favourite for the job. Wonder how Wigan fans think about that possible appointment. I do think Wigan should have stick by Richardson at this point. I do think that the points I before should have allowed more time in my opinion. I do think Wigan are floundering at all. Wigan are a bottom 6 squad. There is no loyalty in Football apart from their Supporters supporting their club through thick and thin.
