Of course it matters who is instigating cos they need more money than ever just to complete with English teams for transfers. English teams have a great global TV deal already and wealthy owners which these 2 Spanish clubs don't have. The Euro Super League won't happen cos clubs have committed and signed a document to stay with the PL and given the backlash last time no new owner would try it again. Also the Euro Super League is needs for clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona as they don't have private wealthy owner or the TV deals that we get over here. Other European teams didn't want it last time like Bayern, Dortmund or PSG. Fans don't want it either as the backlash was clear to see it last time
