  1. Man City are domaining the Manchester derby so far. Foden scored a good goal.
  2. I would be making 1 change and that would be Brittain in for Gallagher. Move Hedges to the right side of the front 3. I believe Cardiff played 4-4-2 formation yesterday looking at their team that played.
  3. No thanks Matty, I will those threads to others in the particular part of the forum.
  4. Watford back on track with a 3 nil scoreline after 79 mins. Stoke City have been poor and don't look like the team we face when under Dean Holden
  5. I think Szmodics will prove his doubters wrong and be a good signing for this club.
  6. I think both are probably have thin ice and I would expect both will get the next 2 games then a decision might be made given that both teams don't have a midweek game like we do. I would imagine Dyche would be one of the favourites for the job. I had a look on one of fans site of Boro fans and not many people saying Wilder need to go but few people were suggesting Rob Edwards the former Watford and Forest Green Rovers head coach taking over. Some people on their feel that few signings were Wilder choice either like Forss and Hoppe. 2 clubs at very different stages and squad which need different type of coaches in my opinion. Rotherham united have offered the job to Exeter City manager Matt Taylor who is only 40 years old but been a number 1 for 4 seasons. While Hull are looking at Carlos Carvalhal as a possible option to become next head coach. They are looking to appoint before the next game Not sure that would be welcome by either fan base.
  7. Mercer, I know who have seen more than enough of both players to form an opinion on the type of player is. For me, 2 very different type of midfielders where Morton is a playmaker where Wharton is more box-to-box type. Wharton is a promising player, but we need to use him and manage his game time where I feel Morton is ready now to have bigger impact. Both are important to how we will perform throughout the season. I thought Morton was good yesterday. I have no idea who others would want in those 3. If you do, then fair play to you. on your last question, I think you already know my answer to that one and it isn't Beyonce, but that isn't for this thread I'm not so sure it has myself from what I seen and watch. Some people haven't moved on from Mowbray like I guy near me who is still mentioning him at every opportunity he can. I am very happy with where we are in the league table and I wasn't at this stage of the season being 6th but around mid-table at best I wouldn't say it's the Dutch way either. I would it very different to how we played before and with JDT experience as player and coach, he clearly was the players being to play and adapt to different formations but a similar style of play I would say that the overall performance wasn't great but certain aspects of the play and performance was acceptable. You could see how he wants to play and I think the Hedges at right wing back defensively but attacking wise drifting into the number 10 role. I would say Hedges and Hyam were above average and I gave them 8 out of ten with others receiving 6 or 7.
  8. Highlights From under 21's game. The link is from Manchester United site tho. https://www.manutd.com/en/videos/detail/short-match-highlights-blackburn-rovers-v-man-utd-under-21s-on-1-october-2022
  9. Matt Taylor: Exeter City manager says he has been offered Rotherham job - BBC Sport
  10. Mercer, you seen both players this season, so I don't understand why you this sort of question. Unless I'm mistaken you havent watch Rovers games at all this season no idea
  11. Vale, Leonard and Wood are ahead of Sam Burns now looking at the team sheet recently. I think in January he needs a move to club in January, where he can first team football whether that league 2 or Conference level
  12. He was at Ewood Park training with the 18 players pre game, and he was 19 man in the squad in case anyone got injury in the warm ups. Phillips was given the weekend off to spend with his family
  13. Not for me at this stage. Morton is at Liverpool for a reason. Him and Wharton are very different types of midfielders aswell. Morton is our playmaker in that starting 11.
  14. Buckley is ahead of his cos of the type of midfielder he is but Adam Wharton will get his chance in the coming weeks
  15. Wilder surely can't have long left at Boro. If either club should their manager, who would they go for? interesting question
  16. Delighted with a win against a team that is defensive and solid with not much threat going forward unless they bring on more attacking options and change formation. First half was caging from both teams looking not to give much away in the first half. JDT sent the players few minutes early out for the second half, and we watched a better performance. More tempo and movement from them. We scored 2 goals even if each goal had a bit of luck about it. I didn't see Millwall scoring today. Rovers did more than enough to see the game out apart from 2 good chances for them. I think we just about deserved to win the game. Hedges's right wing back position was shock and I didn't understand it at the start of the game. It worked overall cos Hedges was our best attacking player today. My man of the match was Hedges and Hyam. I think we seen glimpses from Hirst and Szmodics why we signed them. I didn't understand the Carter and Dack subs to be honest, but its 3 points and we are 6th after 11 games which I didn't think we would be under JDT at this stage of the season. JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪ Cos JDT prefers Morton and Travis has his first choice pairing which is understandable, and I think Morton had a good game today Should have left in the summer.
  17. well at least you got your entertainment and goals for your fiver.
  18. I've asked Rich Sharpe for you and he replied its free for fans to attend. Hopefully it's a Rovers win to watcv
  19. 2 years Championship experience he has at this level
  20. it was last season
  21. Hull need an experience head coach in there, someone like Carlos Corberan would be ideal for them. Surprised Rotherham haven't appointed anyone yet either
  22. Been rumours for the last 2 weeks that he would be sacked
  23. Good luck to you Joe and hope you bring success to that club
