  1. Mowbray won't have much of say there with transfers. Its down to Speakman and Harvey
  2. is he a replacement for BBD tho? Played 2 very different positions and Whilst Riis is a very good player at this level and I thought he might be target given that JDT will know him from his Danish national team days. I think Veljko Birmančević would be better replacement for BBD positional wise. Then bring in a number 9 striker.
  3. Nixon is reporting that 5 PL clubs want BBD Aston Villa, Brighton, Everton, Southampton and West Ham weigh up late transfer approach for Blackburn Rovers star | Football League World Also the LT is saying that Carter might go on loan if we sign Van Der Berg on loan. The LT also say we don't want Van Hecke anymore. Says we want a forward on loan with a view to perm deal I would also expect that JRC and Butterworth will leave on loan or perm in Butterworth case. Its going a very interesting next 84 hours and 20 mins left of the transfer window If you look at Saturday game, they were a number of opportunities for players to cut the ball back for a player but no one there. Same as Crosses in. Hirst seems to be penalty box striker and that what I think we need
  4. But that doesn't take in count replacing BBD which you have overlook here. I didn't realise I was working for Blackburn Rovers now and been appoint as our Director of Football now. Maybe we should have kept Brown and loan JRC like I said we should have done. Adam Wharton proved he more than good enough for a squad place. SVDB can play right back so gives us a back up player there at Right back. Loan JRC out.
  5. I think JRC and Butterworth will leave on loan before the deadline.
  6. I don't get why it fanciful at all if budgets allow and we sell BBD. We will sign BBD replacement. We wanted Maja but he failed his medical on the last hours of the window so we missed out on him. That was Armstrong's replacement and Mowbray first choice target we wanted all summer to replace him with I am very good thanks Mercer. Just been watching Top Gun Maverick with the missus so completely and utter missed this signing announcement. Delighted with this signing
  7. Delighted with Hyam signing. Solid Championship experience centre back with stats to back that up. I still think we bring in Sepp Van Berg who can right back and centre back plus Striker George Hirst(Cos of Glen info there and Elliott Jackson article today) plus BBD replacement as I don't think he will be here come Thursday at 11pm(Delighted if he was still here). I think he will gone before the Blackpool game for 12 to 15 million to Everton or Brighton. I would go for Malmo left side attacker Veljko Birmančević. Hopefully a very good and interesting next 96 hours for us with hopefully another 2 to 3 signings to come.
  8. Dyche won't go to Sunderland cos he won't fit the head coach model as he is more of old fashion manager where he was all the control but more and more clubs aren't run that way and alot of Championship teams have Director of Football/Sporting Director with head coach under them. Mowbray will be happy to work under that system. Also forget that former Rovers head of recruitment Stuart Harvey is there at Sunderland now in the same role
  9. Wrong I don't agree with every signing we made but I actually give them a chance in Rovers shirt. I try not to be too judgement from the start but look into players and try to watch clips of them and read about their player career. I think I have made me feeling know on Van Hecke and I wouldn't be trying to sign now after we been trying for weeks. I think he will go Sunderland and play Mowbray up there. God knows how you not been impressed by Hedges this season but I see him as key player for us under JDT and would questions have you seen him live at Ewood Park this season. Been very impressed by him. Bowler is another player where we don't need a signing in. We are fine with that area Plenty of highlights out there to watch including Champions league games, Malmo games or others. Veljko Birmančević - Bing video People are suggesting Birmancevic to replace BBD. Hirst could be permanent signing given that he has less than 12 months left on his current deal according to the Lancs Live I think we will be bring Hyam and Hirst on perm deals with SVDB on loan. Plus BBD replacement if he does leave here
  10. Kane is the best striker currently in the PL. He is great goalscorer but its everything including his link up play, movement, and leadership he shows
  11. So the stats should include block shots then? to give a proper refection on games Here JDT said yesterday " We're working for the future. The future's not tomorrow, it's not today. We're working hard to see the team work in the way I want to play football"
  12. If you don't like my post then move on and don't read it But I will continue to say that JDT needs time and patience to develop this Rovers team into the team that JDT wants. JDT has always said this project and that is building the team game by game. I don't see what you problem is with that. Like I keep saying you disagree fine about second half performance fine but I did and plenty of others have. So why keep going on and on about it? I never have use the word interchange roversfan99 have I in my posts! Hedges did keep moving inside and keep popping in the middle and on the left and played very much inside from the right. He almost scored from the left hand side of the box. Did you not see this second half? I could understand Szmodics from the right if we had a proper number 9 up front with either Buckley or Dack in the 10 role but not both of them without a number 9/focal point up top. We had a few good chances yesterday, Dack first half and Hedges second half were the best chances but Dolan's shot wasn't far off but Stoke threw their bodies on the line to get that is the reason why we seen so many blocked shots yesterday JDT set the team defensively solid and to hit them on the counter. Very clever game plan which we need to change how we might have played against other teams to win and keep a clean sheet but it wasn't smash and grab. If you think it was smash and grab fine but I don't. So I will leave it there cos we won't agree. No I didn't have any doubts, concerns and worries at the minute cos I can see how JDT wants to develop this team and move it on in the future. If you have any doubts, concerns or worries fine but that's your problem not mine. Yet again like I have said several times to you if you haven't seen the plan attacking wise in the 8 games so far fine but I and others have. I have address several times now to yourself which it getting very tiresome in repeating my points on it
  13. shown yesterday what Rovers and JDT are excited by him and are keeping him here.
  14. really? He has proven his worth to this team and yesterday against Shown it. What did you make of his performance yesterday then? Best Rovers attacking player and my MOTM with Ayala
  15. I wouldn't sign Van Hecke at all, I think we wasted enough time on chasing him now. Time we bring him players that want to be here. Hyam coming here and to me that good solid signing. Maybe sign one more. I would not be looking to play 3 at the back given the squad we got we should playing 4-2-3-1 On the Hirst link, I don't know much about him but from few highlights reels he seems to play within the Box and would give us a focal point to our attack. Can finish and header the ball. So would be different number 9 for us. Maybe it could a permanent transfer given Leicester situation at the minute. on Bowler, I wouldn't be looking to sign him either cos I think Hedges and Markanday are good enough to play that role. I wouldn't sign him if we lost BBD cos they are very different players and play on different sides of the pitch. If BBD does leave which I think he will be Everton player by Wednesday then I would at Veljko Birmancevic from Malmo. Plays on the left, Experience of playing European comps and JDT knows him Brittain, Hedges, Pickering. Hirst scores goals with bis feet also takes Penalties Hedges has prove his worth to this team and he is starter for sure now We did look to play downs the side also. We look to exploit that aswell putting crosses in. BBD against Fosu was mismatch and we didn't look enough for that.
  16. get them inside but I don't like them. I had 2 samosas which were good and tasty
  17. We had 18 shots yesterday which 10 shots were blocked so your stats don't show a good reflection on the game. Thanks for that Stubbs. I've been out so missed posting my ratings but if the problem happens again I let you know We have plenty of signs of how JDT wants to play and we seen that second half yesterday as @Atko's Enginehas posted with pressing, movement, one 2 being played, closing down, etc. Like I said If you haven't fine but plenty of us have. Its about allow the time and patience for that to develop and bring through properly. No, Didn't Wharton pick up his against Hartlepool? Do we even know what the injuries was Gallagher and Brittain and could these not been pick up games and just not mention by JDT. We look a fitter side yesterday than Stoke espically in the last 15 minutes, So Ben Rosen has prepared them well with his fitness work The style will develop game by game week by week. Swansea game wasn't about smash and grab but being solid defensive and playing on the counter which we won 3 nil. Hardly a smash and grab was it!
  18. So those stats should including them. On the second point that's your opinion whilst my opinion is very different and very clear no ratings available for me to give them
  19. I won't clap or boo him before or during the game. If he comes to Blackburn end after the game and claps the fans than I will probably clap him(wouldn't boo him) but for me, he has had his send off after last season last game.
  20. I not interested in comparing them to last season squad cos they are far too many variable like a new head coach, new tactics, Different players and a number of other things. You are unwilling from your Mowbray in love views. Khadra is a show pony and has talent and shown at times but thinks he miles better than he is. We aren't given JDT £1.99 to spend so please stop this nonsense, we are spending money and have signed 2 players for cash with a third on the way
  21. at least he won't complained about travelling or being away from home too much Mowbray could have signed a striker on loan from Man City and he turned it down. TBH, your Mowbray's comments sounds just like a bloke who is obsess with Mowbray and said we couldn't do better than him. He said we missed him. Your last point is just wrong Gav. we are spending money on players and bringing in permanent signings not just loans after loans like Mowbray did. The wage budget has to be reduced and fall into line with its 90% of our turnover from next season. These are new EFL rules. Do the research Gav
  22. the work permit issues would make it not workable unless we signed him and loan him to club in Belgium where he could get the game time and points required. unless it a permanent deal I wouldn't want him back. Another loan is no good for us. Not sure he what we need. Sharpe mentions in his SVDB article that we are looking for a striker on loan with a view to permanent deal. I don't know much about George Hirst so can't comment but I wouldn't mind us looking at championship striker or a striker from Belgium or Germany. Someone who can play that Pressing number 9 role with goals is Hirst that player
  23. I think some managers tactics are boring to watch. In 3 home games I haven't bored and see the team playing to tactical plan whilst yesterday game first half was poor we were miles better second half yesterday and played with more tempo and intensity, closing down, movement, playing in between the lines. If you can't see that second half then I just leave it there. Just look at Hedges performance second half who was very good and shown why he need to start at Blackpool. Yes he is good coach and very good with the players who enjoyed his training coaching sessions. Plus the players look more fit yesterday than previous seasons. no blocked shot on those stats considering the number of blocked shots we had yesterday Rovers will doing a medical today. I wouldn't be surprised if he was at yesterday game watching from a box or something. Keeping a low profile until its a done deal.
