  1. no chance. 30 years old and doesn't fit into our footballing model
  2. The fixture has been rearranged from September due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Another Rovers game moved for Sky tv Coverage. Moved from 3pm to 12.30pm Kick-off switch for Millers match | rovers.co.uk
  3. Netherlands 1-1 USA Argentina 1-1 Australia France 2-0 Poland England 2-0 Senegal Japan 2 - 1 Croatia Morocco 0 - 0 Spain Brazil 2 - 0 South Korea Portugal 1 - 2 Switzerland
  4. Well done to Japan last night who was excellent last night. Spain looked awful last night and if England do play them, we should not fear them at all.
  5. Fair enough Mike. You don't need to take day off work to send an email tho. Takes about 2 minutes.
  6. Time to get rid of VAR all together. Its just shite The PL is the best league in the world, some of the best coaches here like Pep, Klopp, etc plus players. Does that matter really? any many clubs who have challenge for the league actually employed an English coach? Not many is the answer. But he managed in England twice. He is managing Real Madrid for the second time. managing in England is the place to managed.
  7. really? Fair enough. Yes I do remember posting my ideas for improving attendances and getting more supporters in the ground. I never said it was too expensive for myself as I think £399 is value for money in my opinion. My post was about others. I can only see attendances getting worse if the EFL go through with streaming 3pm kick off games online and charging probably 10 pounds a game. Thanks for replying
  8. Really that long ago. I only thought it was a few months ago. I don't understand what NFT still is, but lets leave it there tho today I believe that if any Rovers fans has any problems or what to know like why Rovers are now playing goal music then yes they should contact the club for answers. I didn't request a meeting with Waggott but just wanted a few questions answering, it was Rovers who said they would set up a meeting. I have plenty of empathy thanks, but I was talking about my situation on here. I am fully aware that people are struggling financially or can't attend games due to other commitments. I met Waggott once for 45 mins and since then no contact with him. You moaned and complained about plenty that happens at Rovers but do zilch about it. You complained about the goal music but do you find out why Rovers are now doing it? I bet you didn't. I paid £319 in the 19/20 season and this season I paid 399. That's 25% increase isn't it.
  9. Probably cos the PL and English football is the place people want to manage in
  10. Well Mike it is just under 17 pounds a season when you average it over 12 season. I am correct to think that you had meetings with Waggott and Fielder in recent months over ST cost and match day ticket and put ideas from yourself and Rovers trust to him? or Am I wrong?
  11. I was talking from own point of view and why I think our ST prices is affordable from myself and something you yet again fail to grasp didn't know that about the Riverside prices increasing £17.39 per game is value for money to watch my team played at Ewood Park each season. Didn't over 8k people purchase ST this season shows that plenty of people did take them up. Yes, I agree that Rovers need to come up with different strategy to target people who can't attend every home game and you could offer a membership scheme with one payment then 25% off the original price for games. I would also like to see Rovers offer family tickets (1 adult with 1 kid or 2 adults with 2 kids) for games. Children (under 11's) ST's to be 1 pound for the season and a pound per game. a couple of quick questions @rigger 1) Do you have a season ticket? 2) if you don't what prevent you from purchasing one? Is it price, transport cost to get there, family and work commitments, etc, etc
  12. And we do have plenty of good English coaches in the English game. Rooney has only been a head coach for year. Let's see how he and other coaches are doing in 4 years when I think Southgate will go. I did say Lampard does need to improve and kick on his career now and Gerrard will need to pick his new job if he does want to back into it. They might be other choices in 4 years depends on what happens in that space of time. I haven't been watching it but I thought their performances against Denmark wasn't good either despite the score line.
  13. I don't think the prices are extortionate at all. £400 over a season and the fact I can fully committed to all 23 league games which makes a ST cheap for me and the best option for myself
  14. I disagree that English coaches are poor quality or failures more than other nationality. We have some very talented quality coaches out there. I hope Southgate will stay on as England manager and continue the good work he has done since taking over and he is our must successful England manager since 1966. He deserved alot more praised and confidence from England fans, media and pundits. On replacing him, I think we straight now we have 2 very good options if he does quit after this world cup but in four more years, I think we will 4 or 5 very good quality candidates by then Please could you explain what point you are trying to make. thanks in advance
  15. I am fully aware of that but PL money help Rovers keep prices low even tho we were less spending in the transfer market overall. We seen less than £20 pounds a season increase each season. which is less than a pound a game for ST holder
  16. Are prices that high when it was the same price as the previous season
  17. Just highlighted a very valid point, but England have plenty of good quality coaches who would be good replacements for Southgate when he leaves his post.
  18. totally rubbish Given that the games have only been arranged and confirmed this week from what I read It seems unfair to blame the club for anything.
  19. why the negatively comments?
  20. Once manager who was Scottish won the PL title 13 times which no one will ever come close achieving it again
  21. We have plenty of good quality coaches in England and always have. Whether its young up and coming coaches or experience ones.
  22. Blackburn Rovers CEO on Nottingham Forest pricing & £4m revenue target | Lancashire Telegraph
  23. I've seen the old firm derby on TV and the atmosphere and fan passion is excellent, hopefully one day I will see the old firm derby or Milan derby I would like to watch live inside the stadium. I think the overall quality of the league is poor tho, and I think he had a chance of being PL manager next season if he stayed at QPR, anyway he gone there now, and it will be interesting who they go for
  24. England played the situation correctly tonight. Good solid win and that is how you played Tournament football. Foden and Rashford played very well and Bellingham as number 10 with Henderson and Rice controlling midfield. Well done lads tonight, let's go and beat Senegal now,
