Well if a manager won't spend like Mowbray didn't last January then he deserved to be judge on this but I think its time to move on from Mowbray time here and focus on the incomings and outgoings we need this summer. I think we need probably 4 in depending on outgoings of key players. He will know plenty about Everton transfer business.

I am confident on Brittain cos the number of games I've seen him play before joining here. I have very rarely seen Szmodics play anymore than goal highlights to be fair. We clearly have very different opinions on Nyambe and his ability which is what makes this Rovers fans site good cos of a range of different opinions on here. Yes for his energy and work rate. This is going to tough game and that we be decide how we stop Norwood and Berge in the team. Put Szmodics on Norwood when we are without the ball. That is very good budget considering we don't have parachute payments. If we spent lets see 4 million for argument sake that 6 million left for 4 to 5 more signings. Maybe more if BBD leaves which imo seems in the balance. I hope we can get Van Hecke in but maybe we should look at his team mate Matt Clarke if he available and fits within the budget here given his good loan spells at WBA and Derby plus he adds balance to the team being a left foot. I am extremely confident that Brittain is a better all round player and upgrade on Nyambe and One of the key reasons why I spent months saying this guy was the right signing for us at right back and why I was happy to see Nyambe leave plus I don't rate him as highly as you, for me he is average right back at this level and the fact he gone to Wigan shows this. We should judge him as 17 year old player who is a rare talent that needs develop and playing here with the team. why it is? several different people and I have seen other similar comments/people taking me he had more money in January to spend and didn't. not sure at all but you sign players that fit your club footballing strategy and what qualities you want from the player in the position in you tactical plan/style of play? Boro seems to have scatter gun approach to the type of strikers they want this season.

We spend nearly 1 million on a upgrade on Nyambe in Brittain. he's 24 years old so hardly younger end or a few hundred grand is it. Same with Szmodics is might cost around 2 to 2.5 million plus he 27 years old so yet again dpesn't fit what you are saying. We made 1 loan so hardly rely heavily on loans is it? I expect another one with Van Der Berg maybe another one but I think we make 4-5 permanent signings. If you want quality signings sometimes you wait to secure them cos of the transfer situation at that club and if you look at the current situation regarding championship signings so very quiet. Patience is required from us and time to judge is 2nd of September Ahmedhodzic want to Sheff United cos they could pay more wage more despite him knowing JDT due to the relegation parachute payments they get

We spend money which you didn't expect us to so just admit you were wrong. We have upgrade on Nyambe with Brittain signing. Szmodics suits how JDT wants to play Mowbray had money in January and didn't spend it. That's on him. His failure after the transfer window cost us our top 2 spot and playoff place. Its time he took his share of the blame for that failure. It's job is to improve the entire football side of the club which he is doing and bringing in good appointments.

He was good in his first 2 games for me. No problem with people commenting on games performances but writing off players like Pickering is unfair like some people did. It's shows where the current championship transfer market is and if you want quality players sometimes have to wait. Yes watch the game tonight back on Rovers TV. Its was poor performance overall by the team Maybe wait till after the transfer window ends before we make such a judgement. I reckon we spent around 8 to 10 million by end of the transfer window.

have I? You mean Brittain being better than Nyambe. I know that on a number of games I had seen of Brittain and my own opinion on Nyambe which has been stated on here on numerous occasions

Good for Burnley but given that they sold players for millions and they can afford to over paid whilst we can't. The transfer market for Championship is slow with only 2 confirmed incoming transfers so far this week after 3 games? blimey give him a chance over a season instead of this instant judgement view. The transfer market is very slow and not a lot of transfers being made by Championship clubs. only 2 incoming transfers. its seems alot of teams are having to wait for their transfers to happen cos of clubs not releasing them yet due to injuries or waiting to sign a replacement or asking abit too much so its a waiting game if you want quality signings.

2 centre backs cos Van Der Berg can play right back so cover both positions and a starting centre back. Bring in another centre back. We need a striker that will press the ball and score goals I would go and get Healey from Toulouse. I'm happy with our left back options. So maybe another centre midfielder who is box to box player. One thing I'm not going to do is over react to tonight defeat by saying we Need 6 to 8 signings. We need around 4. If BBD leaves then a replacement.
