  1. Andy Bayes reporting for JDT's press conference that he is hoping for 3 more signings even after the Hyam signing
  2. What I meant was a number 9 striker who score goals and plays with the width of Penalty area really?
  3. Mowbray relied on loans more than I think he should have done looking back. That was his choice to go for loans rather than Permanent signings. loans still cost money in terms of wages and did Mowbray ever spend his full budget cos a couple of people on here said he didn't. I don't mind a couple of quality loan players but I do think we should be making more permanent signings more than loans. If you want 6 signings, then I think 4 of them should be at least permanent signings. JDT didn't want to get drawn on more signings. I don't know how many we will sign before the deadline but we find by the deadline. The pressing number 10 role? Rhodes doesn't have the work rate and energy to do it. He is finisher and that is it Broughton has kept a low profile which is right for Director of football to be so
  4. I didn't just 1 video of his time at Portsmouth, but I watched few video clips of him during the last few years, but don't forget I am not a professional scout that has access to different number of clips, scouting tools or even go and watch the player live by being at the stadium scouting them Dykes would be decent signing and would give us a focal point. 22 goals for QPR in 86 games. So basically 1 in 4 striker.
  5. Fit the profile and style of manager that suits Bournemouth and how they been run over the past 10 years. Manning is a head coach who plays a style that would suit that squad there and would develop players at Bournemouth. I disagree he is the obvious candidate and if you actually why Parker was sacked you really think Dyche is going to fit there? Not really at all. Plus, if you look at the club footballing structure there, they want a head coach to fit into that structure. The time for old fashion managers who want full control over footballing matters is reducing and very few clubs now that happens now
  6. I was surprised by the news that Parker had been sacked but when you read the statement and read Parker's comments about lack of transfers happening, players coming in and lack of PL experience in the squad. After all that you can understand why they parted ways and where they look next. I think MK Dons's head coach Liam Manning might be the right choice to replace him.
  7. ask me that question if that actually happen after the transfer window closes
  8. Boro are spending money cos they have sold players like Spence and Tavernier to PL clubs for 20 mil and 12.5 million pounds. Hull City owners wanted to spend but couldn't cos of FFP.
  9. So, one 5 months loan spell at Rotherham which none of us know how he played or how Rotherham used him people dismiss! I'm quite astonish by so many people commenting on him based on this. Also Jordan Rhodes hadn't proved himself before he came here and score goals. Maybe Hirst need to play for a team that plays to strengths in order to score goals. What we need is players that fit Rovers's footballing strategy, JDT tactics and style of play well I would say maybe that your choice of film you like perhaps 🤔 Not a chance Ross Barkley is coming here Where is it likely we only sign 1 more? who knows what is going on Brockhall and Ewood Park right now. None of us knew we tried to sign Hyam in July, did we? We shouldn't be relying on loans every season like we did with Mowbray far too much, but this summer we have made 3 permanent signings for transfers fees which few fans thought we would never do. great to see your positively here Rev this morning.
  10. Mercer, I have nothing more to add to my point about comparison. Rev, you have based your opinion on one stat from 18 months ago. There is plenty of footage of him over the years including his spell at Portsmouth.
  11. The best strikers in the world come at premium. Toney is quality PL striker who would give Chelsea something they don't have.
  12. my reply to that tweet He will give you stability. He is mid table guy. Tactical poor, good with players but can get frustrated easily if things are going his way. Decent manager at this level
  13. pointless and silly point/comparison here. We are talking about Football where you scout and recruitment players. We scouts players properly here. Yes I know garners but their asking price is unrealistic
  14. I'm not surprised that Chelsea want to let Gallagher. For me, Gordon is number 10/left side of front 3. I don't get why Chelsea want him when they need a number 9 striker. I was surprised they didn't go for Richardlison before he went to Spurs. I think they should go for Ivan Toney from Brentford.
  15. I think Lampard will have them mid table which I think is a good season for them in Lampard first full season. I rated Lampard as manager.
  16. so you form a opinion on just that stat. wow. Plenty of clips of his goals, performances on loan when he was at Sheffield Wednesday, Leicester City and Portsmouth I rather form an opinion based on seeing him action on the pitch and in clips then just basing it on one stat that is 18 months old.
  17. I think he is very good player and rated him highly. Chelsea isn't the right club for him to move to and I would staying at Everton is the right move. I don't see them going down at all
  18. I would love to know what Rev is basing his opinion on? Rumours of us are tenuous? It been reported on here yesterday by 2 different people and Elliott Jackson of Lancs Live. and we have been linked with a couple of times over the summer. hardly Tenuous are they?
  19. I like Riis as a player but I don't like the fee PNE wanted. I didn't suggested Hirst a potential signing did I so please making this BS up again and read the forum properly. It was posted on here by Glen Mullan as our interest in him and Elliott Jackson did a Lancs Live article on him being a live target its questions most of us don't know well that's what the LT is saying!
  20. I'm sure GB and Rovers would have done the research and scouted him aswell. I am not going to write a player cos of 6 months loan spell at the worst championship club that season where he barely started any games and mostly used as a sub there I know that Harvey has come back to Rovers for some staff for his recruitment department there. Mowbray has to get the job first there.
  21. Big decision by Rovers to withdraw from SVDB deal. Question is what do they do now? Look for another one or put faith in Carter instead. Maybe we already have another player line up here and that was we withdraw from it. Rovers and Broughton will have plenty of players they are looking at and it will be interested what ones they go for 5 PL teams interested. I think he go Everton myself
  22. Riis has been part of the Denmark setup through under 21 and other age groups. 7.5 Million for player is 1 goal in 4 games at Championship level and no goals this season in 6 games and 308 minutes played is huge fee and not sure I would take it. Looks like we want George Hirst and that deal is close from what was said last night on here. So we need a replacement for BBD positional for the left winger slot
  23. Gordon is going to be quality player and the last thing he should do is move to Chelsea. Stay at Everton playing every week and develop under Lampard there
