Exactly Paul. We are only barely 6 months into this new footballing strategy and people are expecting instant results. the recruitment department has had to be rebuild by Broughton and Williams. They now got what they want in terms of scouting, video analysis and date researching. Over the coming years we will see this improving the quality of signings we bring in as long as we stick with it. Of course Results are important in any Football but so is building a team that JDT wants and playing a style he wants. I have confidence and faith in the Footballing strategy Rovers have and the people we have in key positions with the Football management side of the club. Yet again, I told Hirst's strengths are having watching the Stoke game and videos of him before he signed here. His strengths are there to see if you watch them and the way he like to play If I think he is dud I would say so. I not bothered or worried if I made a mistake and I ain't afraid to admit I was wrong. BBD wasn't unusual case but he was barely starting and playing. after Covid he was a different player and one who has become a fan favourite and proven he has quality for this level. JDT is a winner and you can see that if you look at his playing and management career history. Why not allow his time and patience to build his own team and stop being so judgemental and expect promotion within his first season. Promotion was the pre season expectations for most on here despite what people are saying who are calling for him to sack which is totally baffling and nonsense. I thought we might make top 6 this season if the players performed well enough. We have replaced Nyambe and Lenihan have been replaced and upgraded by my opinions. You have to accept that the Footballing side of the club has had massive turnover in terms of backroom where we had make 3 key appointments to the footballing side of the club in DoF, Head Coach and head of recruitment. Then bringing first team recruitment staff and they have been in place a couple of months. Also Mowbray has gone and it take you moved it. We need to focus on the future and building a club and squad that will stay in the PL when we get promote like Brighton and Southampton have. I don't want to be yo-yo club.
