v Bournemouth (h) - 30/4/22

Very pleased that they will be over 20k on Ewood Park on Saturday. Hopefully Gallagher and Hedges will be fit so we can play the same way as PNE away and this should be the way we play in the future, -
So after watching the BBC Radio Lancashire interview and reading Lancs Live interview it appears that Mowbray will walk away from Rovers at the end of the reason. He has been success for the club overall but he isn't good enough to get us to premier league or sustain a promotion run over a full season. He will go with my thanks, appreciation and praised for the job he has done and the rebuilding the football club he had to do after the Coyle's failure here. Thanks Mr Mowbray What we need a statement from the club and the owners over the manager situation and the plan going forward from the summer onwards. Farke wasn't on huge wages at Norwich from what I have read in the public domain.

delighted with the Stokes appointment and its the right and correct choice, Good decision by Rob Key and now he needs to find the Test head coach and it will be interesting who they will appoint. Also think he needs to find the right person for the national selector role tho. I am also encourage by the early form of young batsman out there like Sussex opening batsman Tom Haines, Lancashire number 3 batsman Josh Bohannon and Somerset middle order batsman Tom Abell.

Stokes to be named as Test Cricket captain very shortly. Good appointment https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricket/article-10756687/Ben-Stokes-confirmed-Englands-new-Test-captain-WEEK.html

I have never said he been ahead of Nyambe but he was. Don't know there is so much focus on 1 player who wasn't in the 18 match day squad. I don't know if we will or will not be permanent signing Zeefuik but that a question for after the season is. Also what is proper goodbye to the fans on Saturday and why are you so bothered by given Nyambe this? Well I have been posting for over 3 weeks on here and social media that we needed to change formation and tactics. Finally Mowbray stop being stubborn and change it. You wanted to keep this back 5 that hasn't work for weeks and cost us our playoff place. Agreed. -
I am have heard this rumours from a couple of people who aren't on here. Seem to be more to it I never once said that the WBA was correct but didn't distrust what people were saying and I would never complain about what people were saying and posting on here

Same starting 11 and the tactics as the PNE Away game. No reason to change it and we need to win this game. COYB!!! -

Look at Ryan Lowe's comments which he said yesterday's performance was unacceptable and not good enough. Their home record is one of the best in the league and are unbeaten at home to any of the top 6 clubs Firstly Poveda is attacking player whilst Nyambe is a full back so they are very different players and positions. We are going for a playoff place and Saturday game is a must win, so I wouldn't change any of the 18 match day squad players. Yes he has been a good servant. What a proper goodbye to the fans on Saturday and are you really that bothered by that? We didn't miss Nyambe last night Just imagine if Mowbray had switch formation and tactics earlier we might have seen a better improve performance. Sadly Mowbray has done probably too late to secure us a playoff place. -

It's a shame that Mowbray didn't do it earlier. I do know my formations and tactics but we won yesterday and and its was so good see finally stop being stubborn Pickering had a good game at left back. Hedges's movement was very good and link up well with Gallagher and Brereton Diaz. He played very well and he should start again I also worked in Preston and when I walked into work a PNE fan told me to F off before I even said anything tho I was smiling alot tho I haven't seen anything from Mowbray or the club. But we didn't him missed it did we? -

Can't blame him for wanting it can you. Would want better but plenty of worst options out there. But I just going to enjoyed this win and performance tonight. Got to beat Bournemouth now He been going to plenty of football games since getting the sack. Was at Rovers home game against Stoke aswell -

Wouldn't surprise me if he apply or wanted it. Wanted him 6 years ago when Coyle was appointed. -

Rovers have been very good tonight and given a proper 90 mins performance. Every player deserved a 8 out of 10. The change to back and playing 4-2-3-1 and pressing from the front is the tactic we should have been playing games ago when I kept saying we should have change to it Buckley was very good and did a job on Whiteman, 4 very good goals and a team playing on front foot and attacking PNE. The Rovers fans were excellent again. Well done to the players for going over the fans at the end of the game. Mowbray made the right decision to switch to 4-2-3-1 and its a shame he didn't do sooner. But what is done is done. We still have a chance of playoffs now. So lets go and grab it. Hopefully results go for us. I will enjoyed the win and performance tonight. -

It comes from playing the right formation and tactics. Also playing players in their proper correct position -

Has Mowbray been reading my posts on social media? been saying for weeks we needed to drop this back 3 formation for 4-2-3-1 formation and pressing high and winning the ball back high up the pitch. We have been very good first half, 3 good goals. Play Gallagher up front and we will score goals. -
who scored?

Gallagher is a striker so play him there and he will score goals. Hedges and Giles was signed then either not played or played out of position. I wanted to see us sign a centre midfielder someone like Callum Styles from Barnsley or Cameron Brannagan from Oxford would have done the job He has been poor how do you know what his analysts have said? reckon he been dropped cos he wont be next season -

Finally the penny has drop with Mowbray and we have drop this back 3 that hasn't worked for weeks. Maybe we might win tonight. Hedges starting. Either Gallagher or Brereton. But No Nyambe and Johnson is weird so I think Mowbray has dropped them cos they won't be here next season. -
Yes I have read the Kaminski's interview and I would fully expect him to back Mowbray like he did. I have not been anything like animosity towards apart from saying his time at this club is done and he needs to go. I have never compare him to Kean or Coyle and I wouldn't cos he is not. Well I have be more than clear that he needs to go and no discussions have happened so far over a new contract, which I am pleased to here. If he has told the players after the Coventry away game then he is going in 3 games time. Plus what Darrenrover said he said during the Stoke home game when Rovers fans got on his back and was right to get on his way since he is the main reason why we will miss out on Playoffs place and top 6 finish. Some players have dropped out in recent weeks and games that is clear to see if you watch the games I am sorry if you feel like that but people have enough of Mowbray and his stubborn tactics which have cost us a top 6 place and we should in fact be challenging Bournemouth for 2nd place cos after beating Boro at home where we were. I have been a fan of Mowbray and he should have gone last season IMO but he remained in charge. This season he seems to be less inclined to tinkering but in recent months and games he has started again. I have always backed my club and will do regardless who the manager is.

Gary Kirsten 'approached to coach England Test side' with Rob Key set to split the job (msn.com) Looks like New England Director of Cricket will follow through with his ideas of splitting the head coach role into 2. A very good decision, now who will he approach for those 2 roles will be crucial?
-
Correct there. I've enjoyed both games watching live and highlight coverage of it. Stokes set to be appoint Test Captain. Langer won't be joining England. Kirsten one of the favourite for Test head coach job Reports: Gary Kirsten front runner for England's Test coaching role (crictracker.com)

well hopefully that shows the players have lost faith in Mowbray and its time to go. Hopefully he realises this
