  1. Everton beat Chelsea 1 nil. Their performance was full of passion and desire and playing for their fans and Lampard. Could Leeds go down?
  2. How Good was Jack Vale today? can you describe each goal he scores and do you think he should feature in the Birmingham game and in next season 1st team squad?
  3. no its wasn't a false dawn at all but we came up against better quality squad and team in Bournemouth. The back 5 work for so long before it was clear to see that our attacking play wasn't good enough. On next season, That's the way I want to see us play Miller, you might not want to but I want to see us play that way. On the manager and coaching staff point, Mowbray and some of his staff will go but a new manager will be appoint and he will bring in his own staff like most managers do. Would you not be happy with Farke or Ainsworth being appoint as Mowbray's replacement? Yes we will lose some players but they is good players out there we can replace with depending who the manager is and the budget they will be given.
  4. Bet you weren't saying that after the PNE game. We looked miles better as attacking force in 4-2-3-1 formation. Van Hecke look awful yesterday and lucky for the second home game he wasn't sent off. Given that we have a new potential manager hopefully he will sort out the defence so they are better organised than under Mowbray's time here. The way forward for us is playing 4-2-3-1 formation, pressing high and hit teams on the break
  5. Other out of work manager who have been manager in the last 12 months David Wagner, Jonathon Woodgate, Simon Grayson, Lee Johnson, Jack Ross
  6. Get Jack Vale into that Match day squad for Birmingham game. Hat trick today. Wish I could have gone today now. Game is 3-3 and Sam Burns has just come on now
  7. I would say Farke and Ainsworth would be at the top of people shortlist for Mowbray's replacement, wouldn't you? There is one problem with Ainsworth is we would have to wait to approach him until playoffs are done for him. You can still bring in players from all over the world as long as they meet the Work Permit rules. I would say Waggott and Suhail Pasha probably
  8. So Farke would be interest in the Rovers manager job. also the article says we are looking at managers who wouldn't compensation.
  9. You can still appoint from overseas as long as they meet their work permit rules
  10. I would be looking towards next season in my team selection for this game so here my starting 11 Kaminski Brown Ayala Wharton Pickering Travis Buckley Dolan Dack Brereton-Diaz Gallagher
  11. I would be looking Luton's right back James Bree, Fulham centre back Alfie Mawson, Reading centre back Tom Holmes and Bristol City left side midfielder Callum O'Dowda
  12. decent championship player exactly why I not angry or sad he is going. Think we can do better
  13. Hopefully Sam Burns will be around the 1st team picture next season. No Brown or Philips in the under 23's squad so expect them to be involved in next week game at Birmingham
  14. The players will be back before the end of June. Given that the season starts on 29th July and you would want 5 weeks pre season normally. We need to make an appointment in the next 2 to 3 weeks and no lately given the numbers of situations within the club that needs to be sorted.
  15. If Rovers management team want a Liam Manning or Gareth Ainsworth we are going to have to wait until their teams have finish their playoffs and that could be nearly the end of May before we can appoint them. For me, Rovers need to make an appointment in the next 2 weeks to allow that new manager/head coach to bring in his own staff which sounds like new number 2 plus other staff members, head of recruitment, New head of medical services, etc. Starting recruiting new players and finalising pre season plans. My choice would be Daniel Farke. Other names I would look is Carlos Carvalhal, David Wagner and Paul Warne. If you a young up and coming manager then Someone like Rob Edwards, Liam Manning or Mark Bonner The next decision of who replaces Mowbray is crucial and need to be done quick
  16. Yes we do, we need a manager/head coach who can take the club to the next level but keep bringing through good young players we got. I have mention Daniel Farke who did both at Norwich as my top choice. Joe, Can I asked given you work in football what do you know about him? I've seen one game live on sky the other week, but all I seen is highlights of his games and the fact he favour 3-4-1-2 formation during his time at Forest Green Rovers. why? Hasn't Pulis retired as I seem to remember a post from @1864roveriteposting this news a few weeks/couple of months ago
  17. I was very disappointed last night after not being able to beat Bournemouth and take our promotion chances to the last game of the season.
  18. Rovers linked with Cameron Humphreys https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/cameron-humphreys-to-blackburn-rovers-is-it-a-good-potential-move-would-he-start-what-does-he-offer/
  19. WBA manager Steve Bruce wants to sign Lenihan and Rothwell https://www.westbromnews.co.uk/2022/05/01/steve-bruce-wants-to-snap-up-blackburn-pair-joe-rothwell-and-darragh-lenihan-for-west-brom/
  20. So that we can developing into key players like Travis, Buckley and Wharton will be next season. Think Lenihan will stay tbh. I'm not bothered about Nyambe leaving. Think he is average Championship full back
  21. very over the top reaction there Tyrone. Andrew Proctor is the head of medical services here and is set for Newcastle I believe
  22. We need a manager/head coach who will continue to bring through our academy players and develop players. This is key part of any Blackburn Rovers football transfer strategy and plan
  23. Mercer where I have said I want Mark Venus to stay? blimey, try reading posts properly firstly but what I want is clarity from the club over the next appointment and what the plan is going forward.
  24. Bournemouth were a class above us today and its shown at times. We still had chances but took not. We didn't lose our playoff place chances on this game but about 10 games were we should won or at least drew the game. Kaminski was my man of the match
  25. who are these 3 colleagues? are they Rovers fans? Lee Carsley was interim manager at Brentford and is currently England under 21;s manager
