  1. Buckley scores Rovers 1 nil up Great strike by John Buckley
  2. Mowbray said last week after the Bournemouth game that he wouldn't play any of loan players in this game
  3. possibly but all depends on the next manager appointment and the budget for new signings
  4. Does anyone know anything about Dundee United head coach Tam Courts? All I know he favours 4-3-3 formation and he has brought through 15 players from their academy into their first team squad.
  5. Some of that money is what they have committed to spend on the club infrastructure and transfer funds. Plus others things. Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Boehly, who leads the consortium, has won the race to buy the Blues after the most public major sports franchise takeover in history. Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjorg Wyss must now wait for Premier League and UK Government approval before confirming the deal. “Chelsea Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjorg Wyss, to acquire the club,” a Chelsea statement read. “Of the total investment being made, £2.5billion will be applied to purchase the shares in the club, and such proceeds will be deposited into a frozen UK bank account with the intention to donate 100 per cent to charitable causes as confirmed by Roman Abramovich. “UK Government approval will be required for the proceeds to be transferred from the frozen UK bank account. “In addition the proposed new owners will commit £1.75billion in further investment for the benefit of the club. “This includes investments in Stamford Bridge, the academy, the women’s team and Kingsmeadow and continued funding for the Chelsea Foundation. “The sale is expected to be complete in late May subject to all necessary regulatory approvals. More details will be provided at that time.”
  6. Delighted that Brown is starting and we see what's he is all about. Hopefully Vale will come on and score
  7. Tam Courts has come in to 10/1 on Sky bet from 25/1. Could he be outsider for the job?
  8. Thanks Glen for reply and the info you posted. I am really hoping its happens cos he would ambitious mean the business managerial appointment.
  9. England add Brendon McCullum to their white-ball coaching wishlist as new ECB chief Rob Key also sounds out ex-South Africa and India coach Gary Kirsten for the Test role England add Brendon McCullum to their coaching wishlist as Rob Key looks for new Test staff | Daily Mail Online
  10. Is Farke actually out of the running. The article doesn't actually said that. Not my 6 man shortlist but a shortlist that I thought Rovers would be Glen, Are you still confident that Farke will be approach to replacement Mowbray?
  11. I'm already explained and I see K-Hod has already reply. I will just add, Every post is my opinion unless I stated otherwise like I said with the Lancs Live article.
  12. From Lancs live Daniel Farke is not considering an immediate return to the Championship, as things stand, Lancs Live understands. The German boss is the bookmakers' favourite to become the next Blackburn Rovers manager. Farke has been out of work since leaving Russian club Krasnodar in March having departed Norwich City earlier in the season. With two promotions from the Championship in the last three years, he is viewed by lots of fans as the best available option to replace Tony Mowbray. However, Lancs Live understands that, whilst not ruling out Championship jobs, Farke's immediate focus is on finding work in the Premier League or the Bundesliga in Germany. Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach have been touted in the media as potential destinations as well as Watford and Burnley in the Premier League. Farke led Norwich City to an unlikely promotion in 2019 before taking them back to the Premier League at the first time of asking in 2021. The Canaries replaced Farke with Dean Smith after another slow start to life in the top-flight but will be playing second-tier football next term. It's understood that Farke is keen to ply his trade in the top flight after back-to-back promotions in the Championship. Whilst it's impossible to rule out a change of heart, if Blackburn Rovers want an immediate appointment, it seems unlikely that Farke will be the man at the helm, at this stage. Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth is second in the betting odds but remains embroiled in a League One promotion push. The Chairboys faced MK Dons in the first leg of their play-off semi-final on Thursday evening. Ainsworth, a lifelong Blackburn Rovers fan, reiterated his commitment to Wycombe earlier this week. He has been linked with both the job at Ewood Park and Queens Park Rangers' post with Mark Warburton set to leave at the end of the season.
  13. Its was my opinion Brown and Vale should be part of our first team squad for next season if it my decision. Vale is scoring goals for fun. He needs bringing through and playing. Did you much of Halifax spell? Brown is 23 years old BTW and he should be challenging for the right back spot
  14. When are signing a player like Sam Vokes you are always going play direct here. His teams play to specific plan. If he was to become Rovers manager he would need to sign a target man if you want to play that way. This is one of key part of our transfer strategy and has been for a couple of years now.
  15. Hopefully Jack Vale will come on and score. He should be in the first team squad next season
  16. Hoping for a home game on the 22/23 of July tbh.
  17. I have to google that name and tbh if he can be as good as Neil Critchley has been at Blackpool great but would be huge risk here. Firstly, we have to the PL before I am bothered about PL record. I have fully explained my reasons why I don't want Dyche here so please accepted them. Farke is the obvious candidate cos of his backing in youth development, He bought through a number of academy players into the Norwich first team squad, can work on a budget and plays good attacking football.
  18. 2 videos part from BBC Lancs and to me he is leaving after the Birmingham City game. Nothing has changed and won't. He will be looking to get back into Football manager at some point next season but looking forward to his summer holidays with his parents and children. Good luck to him in the future.
  19. It's my opinion. If I had some 'inside information' I would have said that in my post For me, We don't need any right back signing if Nyambe re-signs. Plus we got James Brown has his back up and challenge for the right back spot. The LT this morning is reported that Nyambe's agent has re enter talks
  20. Nothing to do with football or the points I was making on not appointing Dyche here and why Farke is better and outstanding candidate to replace Mowbray given his track record. I won't be answering your non football question Mercer as it daft analogy to make. Time to move on. Also, quick Question, When is the announcement going to make that Damien Johnson will be charge for Saturday game and Mowbray won't be?
  21. Rovers will need around 8 to 10 signings. If Nyambe and Lenihan sign new contract here, then we would have fill those positions. I would like more 1 centre back depending a couple of other factors, 3 centre midfielders, 1 or 2 strikers and 1 left winger
  22. I hope so. Good step forward and ambitious appointment. Given his comments at the players award night, I think there is a good chance he will same.
  23. Of course the owners will know what Mowbray has said and he has said he is leaving. I gave my opinion who I thought would be on our 6 man shortlist Not at all. 6 man shortlist was mention by Alan Nixon, so I have used that information. I see no reasons not to interview 6 candidates then pick the best candidate. Why not interview all the candidates? All depends on their demands and wishes in relates to your Johnson question. My dingle comments is small minded views? really, I could turn it around saying that focusing on ex dingle manager is small minded But Instead I respect each Rovers opinion Time for you to move and actually accept my opinion on the ex dingle manager.
  24. Nyambe's agent has re enter talks cos his move to another club has collapse now so thats the reason for new talks now.
