  1. Mowbray has said he won't play tonight. Hasn't trained enough
  2. A podcast with Sky Sports pundits Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain, Rob Key and Ian Ward
  3. Yes I would. Think we need him to run the channels and close down their back lline plus hold the ball up tonight Plus after tonight game we are without Brereton for 2 games whilst he plays for Chile in international games
  4. Ancelotti was building a club and doing it in the right way. These things take time and had he been there for few years I more than expect he would have gone into the top 6. I think someone like Rooney or Lampard are the 2 clear choices to replace Benitez there. I think either would do well there have to disagree on that and I think Martinez did a very good job there Yes Everton do need to appoint a better Sporting director cos Brands spent money on some rubbish players. I suggested someone like former Chelsea sporting director Michael Emenalo or Brighton Dan Ashworth I think/expect him to be success there and Gerrard will improve the club and move them up the league.
  5. Rovers linked with Jamie Paterson from Swansea QPR and Blackburn Rovers keen on Swansea City's Jamie Paterson - The 72
  6. Haven't plenty of people said time after time that Mowbray shouldn't have direct contact with the owners and go through Waggott or Suhail? He has been around the club for few years now since Bowyer last season here. He is Venkys man for the club It has been posted on here by a couple of posters that Suhail and Babu are Balaji 'right hand men' who help him run his businesses. Doesn't Balaji have loads of money himself?
  7. looking forward to tonight game. My team based on Mowbray pre match comments Kaminski Lenihan Van Hecke Wharton JRC Travis Rothwell Edun Buckely Gallagher Brereton subs:- Pears Ayala Davenport Johnson Khadra Butterworth Dolan/Markanday
  8. Rovers won’t abandon their prudent approach to spending despite being in promotion contention with 20 games remaining. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19857095.blackburn-rovers-right-prudent-says-tony-mowbray/ Asked of his recent contact with the owners, Mowbray said: “Suhail talks to the owners every single day and I talk to Suhail every single day so there’s a very direct line through a conduit. “Suhail had a big part in me joining this club, my relationship with him is very strong. “I hope there’s a strong trust there between us. “Indirectly, as opposed to speaking to them directly, I speak to them on a daily basis.”
  9. I think Rooney or Lampard would be right appointment. They are appointed managers from Europe and gone nowhere
  10. Healey's goals I'm the past 3 season from 18/19, 19/20, 20/21. https://youtu.be/uL92VKZQPpw https://youtu.be/-nNCE_vees0 https://youtu.be/uZ7gy_rvrhw
  11. Signing number 3 of this window is done. Looking forward to seeing he plays for Rovers now
  12. No chance. Just look at the job he done at Derby in shocking circumstances And who to say a former player who gets wins?
  13. he has been injury for most the season so far and he is on his way back to training and getting fit again. and would he not be part of the first team there given they have sold Torres for 55 million to Barcelona
  14. I haven't said whether it will be good or bad signing at all. I will make that judgement when he or any other players when they sign here and put a Rovers shirt on. Yes I think he someone I thought sign in the past summer but with the way we play currently I'm not sure how he fit into the our team style and structure/formation
  15. I don't think Dyche has evolve the style of play like Hughes did here during his tenure. I know you have improve and invest in the academy structure. I do wonder how much involved Mike Rigg has recruitment and scouting there. He played a big part in scouting under Mark Hughes I agree that you need signings this month and in the summer but I do wonder what the owners and Dyche will do now and in the summer if Dyche is there. I do wonder if Dyche will walk away in the summer saying he has done as much as at the club and wants a fresh challenge. It wouldn't surprise me one bit
  16. Joe Rothwell admits he's loving his football at the moment after netting the match-winner at Cardiff City at the weekend. "The most I’ve enjoyed my football in my career" | rovers.co.uk
