  1. Well not cos we a shocking manager in change plus boardroom problems then I am confident in this team and I like the fact that Mowbray isn't over complication it and we have so many home grow players plus great team spirit
  2. Rovers stance should be not for sale. Come back in Summer if we don't promote
  3. Selling Brereton would be a massive mistake by the club. He is going to fire us to promotion or at least our best chance to get the PL under Venkys
  4. His wages are way above what we pay as club sadly. His career never kick on as it should have done. Should have left Newcastle 2 years ago.
  5. Ok, given your scouting experience do you think given the new work permit rules Rovers need less staff on scouting European football?
  6. Club statement – supporter conduct | rovers.co.uk
  7. Can I ask why you are so in favour of the 15k week wage cap? Have you had any meetings with Waggott recently? What do you think of the latest effort from the club getting supporters to the ground? Do you think Rovers make signings in January and will any be permanent?
  8. and the game must continue to be play where must. Can we really keep stop the game everytime there is an outbreak?
  9. Not only websites but other means like people asking questions to the club, etc. But tbh very much of information is out there for the public to see. Just need some proper research doing..
  10. read it here https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/19587182.tony-mowbray-reveals-blackburn-rovers-reda-khadra-pursuit/
  11. Joe, Can I asked how you finding it at Hearts? Would you given your experience that Rovers would need less staff tho to scout those European markets?
  12. Very true. Park scouted Kharda and recommend him after seeing him live against Rangers in a friendly.
  13. Rovers will use scouting tools like Wyscout or something else similar cos of the broad range you can scout players and the amount of data, video analysis you can do. We have scouts and recruitment analysists now at Rovers. We have a discussion during the summer and @JoeHposted some very good detail posts on it. On Scouting players in Europe, Its been reported in varioius media about watching Healey in France or having a scout at Benfica game for example. But given the work permit rules now in place I would imagine that one scout/recruitment analysist cover all of Europe now due to limited amount of players we can afford and would met those rules. We have Bruno Reis who Linkedin profile says he is Rovers European Scout Bruno Reis - European Scout - Blackburn Rovers Football Club | LinkedIn. Other scouts we have are Jim Houston - Scout - Blackburn Rovers Football Club | LinkedIn (5) Pete Bulmer | LinkedIn (5) John Brown | LinkedIn (5) Michael Anderson | LinkedIn recruitment analyst Matthew Barratt - Recruitment Analyst - Blackburn Rovers Football Club | LinkedIn (5) Stewart Heppinstall | LinkedIn 4) Anthony Bates | LinkedIn
  14. I think you will find that most of tickets were sold prior to the last week. Sky only announced this week they were showing it live. We decide to go to this game months ago given it Boxing day, no work and can go for meal on the way back. Can't see the Barnsley game given that Parliament won't have vote the measures in by if any actually happening which looking at Hospitalisation data is lower than 6 to 8 weeks ago btw.
  15. Football should continue to be played and if games need to be cancel due too many Cases then fair enough. Given that clubs have 25 man squads then they should be able to cope with 3 games a week
  16. know what? Still scouting players from Europe or Rovers using scouting tools like wyscout now?
  17. You can scout players on the web through programs like Wyscout, etc. We still scout Europe for players but given the work permit rules now we are less focus on it. Plus with programs like Wyscout, etc to scout players We didn't sack him but not renew his contract given the new rules around players from Europe and the rules needed for work permit. Did we really need a head of European Scouting? no we didn't. We still have plenty of scouts at Rovers
  18. its a great effort by everyone attending the game. With plenty of people off on Boxing day its ideal time for people to be attend away game
  19. All depends what and how the last injury happened and how Andrew Proctor Ibrahim Kerem and Craig Holding has worked with his rehabilitation program with the latest injury Well that's where we have a different opinion cos I don't Nyambe as natural wing back tbh, but JRC is IMO and its a role Ive seen him previous seasons for under 23's when Johnson and Dunn was in charge. on maybe signing someone for that position, would you a striker or right wing back is more of priority in this window? But we have Kharda and Dolan who you say is are wingers but are playing as front 2. So what's the different? Also we need plan B option and I would guess that we might go back to playing 4-3-3 at some point. Plus Rovers seemed very impressive by him so maybe he might be good enough for the PL.
  20. Its not pointless at all. Hopefully he will be ease back and will take a different approach. He is perfect for this wing back role and going forward if he can stay fit he will be starting for me. But you need a plan B or different options. Can't just stick Plan A especially if injuries or lost of form happen which it could in the coming months. Also only last week you were in favour of Rovers continuing to sign players regardless of Mowbray's future. now you back track. Plus he could play the number 10 role or even the one of forward role. Who knows but Rovers have been after him for the last 5 months. Do Aberdeen want to sell tho?
  21. Rovers are monitoring the progress of Lincoln City's Anthony Scully and Portsmouth's Marcus Harness. Rovers may miss out on is John Souttar with Stoke City understood to be in pole position to land the Hearts central defender.
