  1. You prefer to always look for conspiracy theories all the times these days sadly instead of looking at the facts and the player situation Bennett has a wife and young children who are based in Telford so why would he want to be away from them now. He only has 3 years left in pro football so why not be closer to home. Bennett and Armstrong situations are different situations and vastly different period of the footballing careers. Plus Armstrong newly wed Wife has moved with him down here I believe in Lytham, whilst as Bennett's family didn't move here.
  2. no for me. Not a player that we need, who is interest in Kaminski?
  3. believe what? wanting to work closer to his home based? He lives in Telford JH. its a 20 minutes drive. Why would he want to be away from his wife and young children now. He clearly wants to be closer to home.
  4. Dan Pike has done a podcast with the 1875 podcast Defender Dan Pike on life at Rovers and targets for the season - Rovers Chat - The Hub of Everything Blackburn Rovers News
  5. Blackburn Rovers would consider a loan move for Liverpool midfielder Leighton Clarkson Clitheroe-born Liverpool ace on the radar of Blackburn Rovers - LancsLive The Sun reporter Phil Cadden is reporting that Rovers want Yates to replace Armstrong Blackburn want Jerry Yates transfer from Blackpool as Adam Armstrong replacement while West Ham fight for £25m striker (thesun.co.uk)
  6. Bennett sent message to the Rovers fans to the Fans
  7. Been a good player for us who has passion for the club and was brilliant to the fanbase and to the younger Rovers players. Shame to see him go but the right decision now. Was fantastic during our league 1 campaign. Some great memories Cos it is much closer to his home based and much less travelling and staying away from home for days when he played here. spend more time with his wife and children now.
  8. Maybe to foreign players but I'm unsure for English players. I wouldn't want to live there. I prefer the coast to be honest. Doesn't Armstrong live in Lytham currently? why a lazy link? we have been linked to him for the past 6 months so there is some Rovers interested in him I don't know how much Yates would cost but you would hope and I think that Rovers and Mowbray should have be planning for Armstrong exit so should have a shortlist of replacements ready. any Players signing must meet UK work permit rules. They are players out there we should be looking at overseas. We need a striker that can play the lone front role and Yates from 1 game which was the Playoffs final looks like he can do that. Roversfan99's opinion on Yates and the way he plays the role is correct from what I have watched and read.
  9. It wasn't me that said this but Rich Sharpe and the LT
  10. Is London such a big attraction these days?. Why move to another Championship club when he got the chance of PL club. Think Southampton or Brighton or Norwich would be idea club for him. On Fulham, we have no idea who the manager or whether most of the squad will be there. Already seen Cairney and Adarabioyo linked with moves away. A replacement for Armstrong is a must. Yates seems to be the one they want.
  11. People thought that of West Brom and look at their search. Let's see who they go for if Parker goes
  12. No point in moving there plus who is replacing Parker as head coach.
  13. Its 40% after the 3 million fee we paid I imagine. So if we were offer 15 million and accept it, Newcastle would get 4.8 million and we would have 10.2 million to buy a replacement and improve the squad. # If Yates is the one Mowbray and Rovers recruitment staff has recommend as a replacement for Armstrong then fair enough. I haven't seen enough of him to comment on the player. Only seen the playoff final which he played in I would think that Armstrong, Gallagher and Dack are our 3 biggest wage earners at the club. Well we did recuse him from a awful spell at Bolton where he wasn't played properly and we signed him and he helps us to promotion and then kick on the last season and half when he was moved up front and scored goals for fun. Off the clubs that are rumours to be interested which one would you say would get the best out of Armstrong? (Southampton, Fulham, West Ham, Norwich, Everton have been linked)
  14. LT are saying 500k. But you could be right.
  15. No manager will never force me not to buy a season ticket whether I agree or not they should be manager of my club. I wasn't of Kean or Coyle being manager. I came close to given up my ST when Coyle was appointed but then thats would be letting down my club I supporter all my life and not able to see my team live inside a stadium. I have fully supported appointments of Hughes, Bowyer and Lambert. Look at the selling of training ground factlities and I was dead against that from moment one and posted it on the messageboard and sign the fan petition that Rev did. This is my club and there is nothing more I would want to do on Saturday afternoon then go to Ewood Park and support my club that has part of my life for so long now. I have great memories of being there at Ewood Park and they will live will me for the rest of my life nope I want like to see as many supporters inside Ewood Park as possible backing the club and the players regardless who is in the manager hotseat
  16. I think we would be crazy to lower our asking price for Armstrong of 15 million pounds. Tho I would be looking for possible players from those clubs interesting in Armstrong. Maybe Trybull or Idah from Norwich for example. Didn't you say that the club was confident Armstrong would sign a new contract? any more news on this? 500k from Brentford and Raya getting promoted
  17. Until we get closer to the start of the season and we see the squad we have then its far too early to judge. But I see it has an opportunity for players Brereton, Dolan, JRC and Buckley to step up up and perform.
  18. Why is it a sideways move? Rovers are a bigger club with bigger budget, better wages, better training ground, etc. Elliott loss will be factor but wont we be replacing him and if Brereton can keep his form up that he shown we have new improve player. Plus Dolan and JRC playing those roles will get better by playing there. If I remember correctly the deadline for the head of recruitment role was end of April. So in my opinion that role should be filled within the month of May. I dont know how much notice period Harvey gave to the club
  19. Which part is made up? Does Mowbray being here changes the fact you are Blackburn Rovers supporter? We arent favourite for relegation so stop talking rubbish pal.
  20. Someone with potential given he is international player. Will be interesting if he loan out and how well he does there
  21. Looks like the jobs we advertise look proper and professional given my experience of recruiting staff in a previous role We did advertise for the role of Head of Recruitment with the deadline. Just like we have done this current role being advertised of head of medical services. 87 people applied for it. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19296094.rovers-close-new-transfer-chief-87-applications/ Unlikely to happen. Be better if we got Yates signed up as Armstrong transfer went through.
  22. They stayed up didnt there. That's all Ashley wants until he can sell the club. Where do you actually this they should be finishing? Top 6 maybe? 😉
