  1. Firstly, no one is justifying what the club does. But that's your standard line from you. Bennett is far from a shit player and if you only look at his team mates reaction on social media they regards him as a legend. Ask the club.
  2. Keane hasn't been a manager for over 10 years and want the Celtic job this summer and he couldn't get that job. They are reasons why Keane hasn't been manager for the massive length of time. Yes Mowbray over Keane. But I still want a manager change tho and Mowbray to be replace just not be Keane who I deffo wouldn't want. Much better candidates out there more suited to the job
  3. Bennett was always going to move closer to home base in Telford this summer to spend more time with family. Thats was clear a few weeks ago. Was Bell offered a contract? why offer Chapman when he never played at this level and his attitude over the last 18 months hasn't been good enough.
  4. Keane isnt a manager material. Better off stayingfb0as pundit
  5. Was reported by Nixon on Sunday. Probably where your pal got it from
  6. Didnt we sign Kevin Davies the season(97-98) after Shearer left in 96. Didnt we sign Martin Dahlin in the 96-97 season?
  7. Very surprise to hear that given you enjoyed looking at other clubs and their websites. That's the job of a academy. To bring through quality young players like we have like Lenihan, Travis, JRC, Wharton, Buckley.. It's one player in Nyambe that's won't a new contract so if he wont sell him and sign a replacement for him.
  8. thats where we have to agree to disagree there Ewood sadly so say.
  9. 2 million pounds with 20% sell on clause I would accept this summer. Yes. We have been linked Stephen O'Donnell who I think would be good signing for us. and someone I suggested a couple of seasons ago as a signing for us You keep enjoying reading the lines in you want. Yes I expect a few sales but then I expect the money to be used for signings. You seem links with O'Donnell, Yates and Healey who the past week. More than happy with the contracts we have extend so far especially the JRC and Wharton plus some of our up and coming players as bringing through academy players regular is what we need to keep doing as a club. Would love Armstrong to sign a new contract but he leaving I guess this summer. Recruiting a good replacement for him is essential this summer.
  10. Why lose a player for nothing when we sell him and use that money for a replacement and have change left. I would sell Nyambe if he won't sign a new contract..get some money for him
  11. Just bits of games and clips every week but tried to follow him and his team results since I suggested him. With the Belgium league not televised in the UK to my knowledge how would you let me to watch his games? Plus I'm not paid scout or have any access to scouting tools like Wyscout scouting tool?
  12. no surprise with that one. Some good players out there and I would be targeting Thomas Henry to replace Armstrong. I suggested Thomas Henry months ago as a replacement for Armstrong why wouldn't you if Nyambe isn't going to signing a new long term contract then you have sell him this summer and signing someone like O'Donnell with a decent enough signing with Pike as a back up to him?
  13. Going to renew my season ticket for the 21-22 season after not renewing for the 20-21 season this evening when a couple of people I attend with are available to purchase them, Another thing I am not happy is not being to take different people to games if the person can't attend due to work or family commitments who is the main season ticket holder. But we will just have to live with it. Has anyone renew yet? is it? the current NHS app provided you with the info that you had both jabs so no need for any new app
  14. Rovers would look at Healey from Toulouse as possible replacement for Armstrong shoud he go https://twitter.com/richsharpe89/status/1406492010119372803?s=19
  15. If you want to disbelieve them that's fine but not all of us have that opinion. Depends what they are looking for in the head of recruitment position. I've been over the Ayala and Pears signings and the fact I don't believe our recruitment department recommend them a number of times now and posted it. Let's see who we sign in this transfer window.
  16. Rovers linked with Motherwell and Scotland right back Stephen O'Donnell. Championship clubs keen on Scotland full-back Stephen O'Donnell after fine display against England | Daily Mail Online Blackburn Rovers have been linked with a move for Wigan Athletic's Viv Solomon-Otabor Blackburn Rovers linked with Wigan Athletic forward as transfer search deepens - LancsLive
  17. Cos you have been told this by the manager and the club. Targets have been decided already. All because the head of recruitment leaves doesn't stop the rest of the recruitment team doing they job. Yes a head of recruitment is important when in the process of scouting, watching games, selected targets to present to the manager for decide who to go for. The manager decide who we target from the players he is present with.
  18. Not sure Jerome is thats good of a signing really. We will have our targets already sorted so the fact of no head of recruitment is less of an impact. This head of recruitment doesn't negotiate the transfer deals or deal with the contracts. But this is where a Director of Football or Sporting Director would be useful in my opinion
  19. So why mention then then in the Rovers aansfer thread?
  20. I agree. He was a good servant to the club who was great with the fanbase. But not a legend. Players like Shearer or Friedel were legends in my opinion during my lifetime of supporting Rovers
  21. I have to say that I think Rovers have made a massive mistake in not making season tickets cheaper for Adults plus for under 16's. Rovers should be trying to entice fans back now after 16 months of lockdowns and not being able to their team live inside a stadium for that period of time. Adult ST prices for the Blackburn end and the Riverside stands should have been between £230-280 per ticket holder with the Jack Walker price around £350 to 399 for example. Kids under 16 years make it pound a game. You would make that back with supporters using their spare money in the concourse food stalls or in the club shop.
  22. If you look at his Rovers team mates comments on Instagram they used the word 'Legend' in most of their posts. I think they used that cos he was great team mates, someone who wants great in the dressing room and helps his team mates to settled into the club or coming up from the academy. Think thats why they used that word.
