  1. More changes than needed to be Tony and another change of formation. Is it 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1? Who knows? If he is playing Gallagher wide then he is wrong again for doing so. Why not play Dolan there? Fell for Gallagher cos He would be useful as a striker but he isn't wide forward. All 4 man centre defenders out. crazy. Armstrong has captain. Probably down to his performances. Hopefully he scores and win. Yes when he first came in here as manager here we played 4-4-2 then we changed to 3-4-2-1 formation.
  2. I have missed watching our 23's and 18's teams. Enjoyed watching them.
  3. I'm annoyed at the lack of communication from the club before the applications went in. Why not communicate the plans to us 1st? Plus I want to see the digital plans of the new training facility. Plus answers to my questions. Yes it would be great to have state of art modern training facility with us keeping category one academy status as well improve in all training facilities we need in football and have one of the facilities in.the football worls. No problem but just be open and honest with us. If they have done that then we would be less angry and annoyed with them. Is that too much to ask for from the club? Dont know
  4. That's my point. You would have thought.. I look forward to seeing the digital building plans and video on our new state of the art training facility in the future.
  5. The club should have release the plans themselves not have us finding out like this. They could have done interviews with media and show their digital building blueprints for new training facility online. Just want them to be open and honest with us
  6. Asked Sharpe why is the academy site more suitable than senior training centre? His answer was privacy and also bigger area
  7. Dont we owned the academy training ground?
  8. The club should have release a statement and done interviews with local media to explain what the club wanted to do with the training ground and redeveloping it. They should be open and honest with fan base. Instead we found out through a fan. Simply not good enough from the club. If the plan is put all under one facility then fine. Makes sense. But why is the senior training centre being sold, surely that is where the new training centre should be. So why is academy training ground more suitable? Waggott and club need to explain further what the plans are with digital images of the new training ground and a guarantee that Rovers will maintain our category one status Academy. Waggott and Rovers should have released all the details before the application went in to Ribble valley council. Poor from them. Questions I like to ask 1. cost of redevelopment? 2. how long will it take redevelopment the site for all in one training centre? 3. Where are digital building plans of the new training centre?. 4. Will we retain our category one academy status in the new facility? 5. How many training pitches will each team have? Will we have latest in quality of pitches? 6. What state of the art facilities will be in the new facility? 7. Will fans still have access to watch under 18 games?
  9. Statement in full Blackburn Rovers are looking to the future, with the development of an elite training facility a key facet of the club’s long-term strategy for success. The current training facilities, based at Brockhall Village, were built 30 years ago and, whilst both sites service the basic needs of the senior squad and the young players at the Academy, the club feels that a more modern approach and the introduction of a fully integrated football model would better reflect Rovers’ ambitions. The club is therefore looking at a plan to develop a new coaching structure – to support and accelerate player pathway through the system – and integrate our two training centres into a single, state-of-the-art training base that would bring players, coaches and facilities all under one roof. This enhanced focus on football development and future-proofing the club’s competitiveness in attracting and retaining our best players will provide the club with the best possible platform for future success. The new facility would be built on the site of the current Academy, which will be financially assisted by redeveloping the Senior Training Centre site for new homes and community facilities. The club wishes to make clear that the two pre-planning applications are inextricably linked, meaning the residential development can only go ahead in conjunction with the building of the new training facility on the Academy site. The club have enlisted the support of specialist consultants, who are in the early stages of engaging Ribble Valley Borough Council and the local Parish Council, and have submitted a screening request to inform a future potential planning application. We look forward to sharing details of our upcoming consultation on the proposals, which present an exciting opportunity for the club, and to running an informative and inclusive consultation process.
  10. At least he is willing to cover the story. Not many national journalists arent interested in Rovers Sharpe is waiting for Rovers to release a statement before running a story..
  11. Nixon has pick up on the story. Tweeted him the planning permission applications this morning. Doing a story on it.
  12. Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Harwood-Bellis Douglas Travis Davenport Dolan Elliott Brereton Armstrong Would you be happy with that team? Btw this is guess by your post
  13. Rovers playing Burnley today at 11am.at Brockhall
  14. Different parts of the ribble valley tho.
  15. How much would it raise please? Surely residents who already live in the Brockhall area will.object to the new housing build for varied reasons?
  16. So if that's the case why are Rovers applying for planning permission for new houses?
  17. When has Waggott made these sort of comments? Mowbray shouldn't be part of any of this. He is football manager not in charge of business of the club. Well.it going to be hell of a project to get done and will take alot of time. The club should have spoken to fans before these applicants went in
