It appears that John Park will be head of recruitment and not director of football at the club. I don't know whether he will be involved in transfers negotiations but we will see in the future. Now going forward it important that Park find the right players for the going forward for the club. I wonder if he has any suggestions for a replacement for Adam Armstrong. He has worked in Europe and Scotland so hopefully will have a good range of European contacts. McCarthy at Cardiff has brought in his own chief scout there in Dave Bowman who has worked with several times before there. I want to develop our talent young players and keep using our great academy when we can. I'm not going to keep talking about Mowbray still being here as manager every day with you. Thats what you want. I want to 2 players fighting for the position in the team regards of age. Neither will prove themselves unless you start them and play them and allow them to develop. Pickering has nearly 150 games for Crewe and for me will only improve for us by playing here. Agreed with keeping Wharton, Buckley and Davenport here. Buckley should be key midfield player along with Travis this season. Why loan Carter out at the age of 21? Surely if he is going to make here it has to be this season? Dolan and JRC should be competing for the right side of the attack with each other so why loan either out? Why loan Pike out when he is the back up right back option at the club?

Yes the wage bill has dropped but I wonder the owners have cut the budget resulting in a small wage bill this season for the club. Don't think the problem is money with Armstrong but he wants a crack at Premier League football. I don't see why either one of them need replacing considering they were injury prone and we have also 5 players for the centre midfielders so only need one more midfielder who would be defensive midfielder for the signing.

I can understand that you would change tactics and why. But whatever your formations and style of players your squad and signings must fit into that. I think we have young talent attacking players like JRC, Dolan, Buckley, Butterworth etc who can play this style Mowbray wants. Yes it is likely that Armstrong will go but depending how we replace him and the goals. I am looking for the team to score goals whether its Lenihan and Ayala to chip or Travis and Buckley from Midfield, or Brereton to score more this season. Who knows what the finances are like but I am not expecting big cash signings from most Championship teams this window and expect alot of free transfers, loans and low cash signings. I know how and who I would replace Armstrong with. But lets see how the club does this? sad to hear that you arent renewing. Well we don't know what will go on in the transfer market. Have I said I have erased last season. I was and still now bitter disappointed how last season after the backing the manager has had over the last 3 season into building that squad. We should have done better.

The target for Rovers should be top 6 this coming season. How many times do I need to say this? You are getting annoying again! You are obsess with fans opinions which aren't objective enough and bias. Look at what Sunderland fans said about Graham before we signed him. You wouldn't have signed him but thankfully Lambert didn't listen to those opinions and signed him here. I put alot into data cos it based on what happens in the game See some of us backed Armstrong to score the goals we needed after Dack whilst you yourself were doubtful and negative he would step up despite him being a striker and goal scorer.
