  1. I'm sorry but it isn't inevitable that Super League cos the club owners have badly misjudged what their clubs fans and supporters wanted. Look at the statement from those 6 supporters trust groups he Board of Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust is deeply concerned by rapidly escalating reports linking Tottenham Hotspur Football Club with a breakaway European Super League: a concept driven by avarice and self-interest at the expense of the intrinsic values of the game we hold so dear. Along with fan groups at Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, we wholeheartedly oppose the move to create a closed shop for Europe’s elite. In our 2019 Survey, 81% of the 4,302 Spurs fans polled supported THST’s position against any closed European Super League, with only 3% disagreeing. We call on ENIC, the temporary custodians of our great Club, to distance themselves from any rebel group and to consider the implications fully before making decisions that will fundamentally change the course of history for Tottenham Hotspur forever. The future of our Club is at stake. THST Board 18 April 2021
  2. Ainsworth or any new manager would be able to rebuild their own squad from this summer with us having so many players out of contract this summer. Also does he play 4-3-3 formation there cos its suits the players he has and the resources there. I bet he would play Gallagher as number 9 and not as wide forward as Mowbray does Tough Nut? If you honestly don't think Ainsworth wouldn't tell the players some home truths then you are deluded and don't know the person. Look at the job he has done at Wycombe and the financial resources he had whilst achieving 2 promotions.
  3. yet again the so called Top 6 clubs have been badly advised and clearly don't understand what the fans want. Look at PSG comment on this. They are totally correct that teams like Leicester and Atlanta should be in the Champions League if they performed well in their domestic league Plus Bayern Munich are totally against this.
  4. The big 6 will make a statement shortly but as Gary Neville says they will denies this and are bottlers
  5. I agree with every comment that Gary Neville and Roy Keane have made on this
  6. Why? I would be happy with an Ainsworth appointment. He is tactically aware and he shown that against us when he switch formation against us and Mowbray had no answer to it. I dont see him going to Preston cos they want an head coach and not manager type.
  7. Bowyer has had an impact there since joining them but why would not play to your main striker strengths like Karanka did
  8. Would you be happy if we did appoint him based on his CV?
  9. Bowyer has gone 2 up front since taking charge and getting the ball into the box for Jutkiewicz and his strike partner. Played 3-5-2 today.
  10. But PSG and Bayern Munich are against it. Gary Neville on the commentary of the Manchester United game with the dingles, Roy Keane and Micah Richards in the Sky Sports Studio are scathing of the top 6 English clubs for signing up to this European Super League and say each club should have points deduct of them. Also statement from UEFA and others FA's plus PL and La Liga said clubs will be kick out of their own domestic leagues plus banned on players appearing in world cups and Euros also will happen The Football Supporters association comment below
  11. How can you forget the results or we were almost involved in a relegation scrap despite Mowbray being backed financially over the last 3 years in terms of transfer fees and wages plus no sales of our key players within those 3 years. Why was Mowbray allowed to sign an injury prone player as his major defensive signing this season? why wasn't this questioned by the owners, Pasha, Waggott or Slivester? or was it but Mowbray assured them that he would sort out his injuries out and he would be massive player for us? Yes you are right, Mowbray shouldn't be our manager anymore and he should be replace. I'm hoping that Pasha has already started the inquest at the club and why things need to be change at the club with Waggott, Mowbray and Venus being sack.
  12. He is full of passion and its good to listen to him. I think he should be one of our candidates we interviewed along with Chris Wilder, Mark Hughes, Alex Neil, Gary Rowett, Uwe Rosler and Veljko Paunović
  13. I would suggested that they will invested in the squad this summer without over spending on fees and wages. I have no idea why you have a problem with how they did it last time around when you consider where the club was 2 years before they were in the premier League, they were days away from administration. Did you know this? Plus they used the Premier League to build a new training ground, and off the field structures aswell as finance signings this season.
  14. Thanks for that. Didn't know this.
  15. Under 18's are performing very well and 7 wins in 7 games is a great set of results
  16. Webber and Farke have done a good job there this season and how they kept most of that squad together and signing players like Gibson and Skipp who have been very good signings for them
  17. Going for the Germany manager job Why is he leaving the England job to come to Rovers? We don't the right players to play this possession based game he wants to play. We need a manager that will play the players in correct positions Why AVB? Would any of the 3 managers you named be interested in coming the championship and Rovers? Plus would they meet the criteria for a work permit?
  18. Why? Awful manager who done a terrible job with the England under 21's. Why would we want him? Bilic and Jokanovic are managing overseas on big money contracts so I can't see us getting them. I've people a number of different managers for us. Chris Wilder and Mark Hughes should be spoken to about replacing Tony Mowbray this summer. Wilder with Alan Knill or Hughes with Mark Bowen and Craig Bellamy on his staff would be great appointment for us. Danny Cowley I would like here but can see him staying long term at Portsmouth. Gareth Ainsworth would be good appointment. There is other British manager like Gary Rowett or Alex Neil who be good replacement for Tony Mowbray Uwe Rosler or Veljko Paunović could be good appointment as head coach with English experience with Sporting director in place.
  19. Delighted to wake up and see we won. It's the win we needed regardless our performance. Pleased for Gallagher scoring and shows if you provided good quality balls in and chances he can score. Good header. Elliott took his goal well tho keeper Marshall maybe should have better. Our defending for their goal was appalling again.
  20. 1-1 tonight. Anyway I'm off back for some more sleep before my night shift starts
  21. Can't renew contracts of players when the owners dont allow it. Lambert wanted to Graham situation sorted quickly as he was his main striker he wanted. How many of those out of contracts did you want to keep? Lambert never trusted Venkys to deliver on their promises so wanted the get out clause. He was promotion push the season after but the owners didnt want to finance it. Lambert has pick some awful manager jobs since leaving Rovers. Anyway Rev, who would you like to see replace Mowbray?
  22. I wouldnt give him any reception at all. I wouldnt abuse him or clap him. He did a good job in first 2/3 years(full seasons here) but the 12 months has been appalling and unacceptable
