Summer transfer window 2021.

All down to the quality of the signings the manager makes whether its Mowbray or a new manager(which I prefer) for next season. -
Championship Season 2020 - 2021
chaddyrovers replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think its been far less entertaining cos of lack of fans inside stadiums. So you lose the atmosphere which can inspire teams. The best 2 squads in the league have got the top 2 spots. No surprises. Now between Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham and Derby who go down. -
Season Tickets (inc. Renewal Poll)

What statement do you want to make? Stuart, if you don't want to renew/get a season ticket, no issues for me and I fully understand but every fan will make their decisions on their views and what kind of normality they want to get back to Given that for the past 13 months we have lived under some form restrictions where we have limited our social contact with friends or family, or unable to attend football games with friends or family or even go to the pub for a meal or drink with friends. Now these restrictions have lifted somewhat I can't wait to get back to Ewood Park to support the team with my step daughter and friends. Just like I am looking forward to going out for a meal with few drinks next Saturday evening with my missus and best friend and his missus. Get back to some form of normal life after being on lockdown for months. I will supporting my club I have supported all my lifetime. I'm not going to stop going cos of the manager who I want replacing. I didn't want Ince to become manager when he did get the job, having Kean and Coyle didn't stop me going either. If you don't want a ST then thats fine with me. I have no issues with your choice but please don't start trying me feel guilty at all cos I don't or won't They don't make me feel guilty at all. -

I've no idea on Wilder's wages at Sheffield United. Wilder was in the lower leagues before he got a chance at his hometown club and the team he supported. Look where he took them. Similar to what Ainsworth could do here. He would united the fans and he could get the owners to understand the club they bought from a Blackburn fan and someone from the town. He should be option. But so should Hughes(who would be my 1st choice), Wilder, Rowett, Rosler plus a few other names. Thanks Mike for mentioning that. Hughes leaving for Manchester City was one of the saddest days of supporting the club I would loved Hughes back here as manager with Bowen and Bellamy on his staff. -

I would say its will be season tickets holders only at games even after June restrictions have gone. Also I want to get to support my team inside a stadium. I dont want to watch a stream or watch on TV every game of my team. After being ST holder for over 20 years now apart from the last 13 months I am used to watching my Rovers inside a stadium. No.Manager is going to stop me from doing that. Ince didnt, Kean didnt, Coyle didnt and Mowbray wont. Yes I want to change in the manager hot seat asap. But I can't force Venkys to do that. -

Looking like Mowbray knows his budget for next season according to Nixon in the Sun on Sunday and will be in talks this week for potential targets https://the72.co.uk/232852/blackburn-rovers-boss-learns-summer-budget-talks-with-transfer-targets-commencing-next-week/ -

If after the season we just had and we are finishing mid table this season after Mowbray's 3 year plan has been financially backed by Owners isnt enough to put pressure on Mowbray and his future then nothing well. Plus 3 wins in 18 games run and not scoring 24 1st halfs this season aswell. 2 very damning stats on Mowbray So the answer is no. Fans being in the stadium is a good thing. Mowbray been lucky no fans have been inside stadiums cos he would have felt the anger and displeasure from fans over results, performance and tactics. I cant see clubs being allow to have full stadiums and social distancing will be still in place even after June from what I read a few weeks ago. No chance you are going to have a full Wembley stadium for Euros. Possibly 33 to 50% full.. UEFA want Stadiums to be at least 25% full. -
You need to ask them dont you?

Mowbrays Successor

Just think he should be one we should look at and possibly interview along with a number of different options out there like Wilder(Knill), Hughes(Bowen and Bellamy), Rosler(Kelly), Ainsworth and Rowett, Is mid table Championship budget going to attract a Wilder or Hughes type? Who are you thinking we could attract? What is wrong with appointing Ainsworth for example who has 2 promotions on his CV and has learnt this season at Wycombe on one of the smaller budget in the league as seen in recent seasons. -
Mowbray doesnt even speak to the owners As he said the other week

Look at the instant impact he had results there and saved them when they going down. We need a manager who can have instant impact here. Better candidates. -

Just my opinion. Think this coming season will home fans only allow in stadiums. -
Forgot we signed Ayala tbh. Seems years since we seen him a Blue and White shirt 🔵⚪

Well considering that McNally is at games and we arent I would suggest he know much more must of us do

No need to protest if will have a new manager in as some are suggesting. Yes it is my decision. After not being allowed to follow my team inside stadiums for the past 13 months and felt detached from watching my team during lockdowns. My and my friends cant wait to get back to Ewood Park. Shame about no away games but hey ho -

I agree with all the above. Carter has been impressive reviews at Burton so hopefully we see that next season and he is much improve. -

That's your idea. I go to games to enjoy and watch my team and hopefully win. Mowbray will get plenty of stick if he still there from fans including myself. I was back in my normal seat I had before lockdown. -

I want to watch every home match so why would I buy match tickets? After being a season ticket holder for many years and watching games live inside a stadium and enjoying it would I not want to get a season ticket when I am allow back in stadium? -

Watford are promoted back to the PL. Look like Wycombe are going down cos they 6 points adrift of Derby but Derby's goal difference is 13 better off. -
I would have like to see him in a coaching capacity at the club over the past 10/12 years. Sadly never happened despite all of his footballing and coaching experience.

Appoint the right manager and he would turn Gallagher into a decent target man type of striker. We have to find a replacement for Armstrong if he is going. That with be tough to find one but thats we have invested heavily in the Recruitment department to find these players. Would be interest seeing Lenihan under a different manager and whether he would improve enough. Think Wharton with him and Carter as back up. We need one(or 2 if we go 3 at the back ) more good centre back. Come back to appoint the right manager and signing the players to fit the style of play, formation and working on the organisation and communication of the team/players Pike, Carter, Eastham, Burns, Whitehall and McBride. I'm not going to include Rankin-Costello or Pickering cos they arent kids IMO based on the game time here in JRC case and Pickering has played in 163 games at the age of 22.
