Thats where this FFP is bollocks and needs scraping. If owners want to in their clubs through their own money then whats the problem? -
Summer transfer window 2021.
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
as I posted in the Championship 21/22 thread its appears that a number of EFL clubs will be under certain transfer restrictions but it seems that the EFL won't go public with a list of clubs but keep it private -

It appears that a number of EFL Clubs will face tighter restrictions on transfers. Derby and Sheff Wed but likely to be others. Don't know if Rovers will be one. But it appears that the EFL won't go public with who these clubs are. -

nothing to do with our head of recruitment so stop with the obsess. I just find a strange move for Johnson leaving Blackpool for SPL team like Aberdeen. With Blackpool in the championship and looking forward under Neil Critchley -
Thanks @rigger and @riverholmes for the replies. I hope that Brereton comes back and perform even better than last season

Stoke set to sign Vrancic from Norwich City on a free transfer. Thats a good signing for them. I wonder if Rovers will look at Tyybull again if Norwich cancel his contract. -
I ain't accusing you because its a fact. 13 times you have mention about the head of recruitment in the past 4 weeks

Summer transfer window 2021.
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Well if we are signing him then surely we won't play playing possession based football but looking to the back wide and get crosses into the box. Not a player I hope we sign. Do we need another striker if we are planning 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 with Armstrong, Gallagher, Brereton and possible McBride. Surely we need a wide left player, centre midfielder and centre back. Then a back up left back for Pickering who will be our first choice left back -
I haven't seen of Brereton playing for Chile, so I can asked people who have watched games where has he been playing and how good as his performances been? Now looking at him in Blackburn Rovers shirt where would you play him and how can we get the best out of him?

another bizarre post containing more false comments. Nowhere have I said the club can do no wrong. I posted my unhappiness at the club new kits not being unveil yet and this delay, I said season tickets should have been on sale weeks ago, I said we should have appoint a new head of recruitment by now(but I don't keep posting about it daily to get my posting count up). On signings, until we can sorted out with the EFL whether we out of embargo or not, or facing other problems we won't be making them. But the EFL are as always slow and dithering as per usual
-
The club and Mowbray have already said that the new head of recruitment wouldn't have much of impact on this window as the work on this windows signings has already been done. thats why we have recruitment team including scouts, data analysis people and video analysis people. Did you miss this?
-
Good for you. It should be the target for Mowbray and anything else is simply not good enough. I see no reason why with 2 or 3 quality signings and we keep Armstrong why we shouldn't targeting and getting top 6. Mowbray has built this squad and can't have any more excuses now. Where did I say it didn't matter? Not what I said but I said I'm bored of you keep going on and on about daily.
-
He has months to plan this summer recruitment and has everything in his favour. He got the recruitment strategy and structure he wanted. No short Summer break, pandemic under control. I'm not confusing anything. We should be targeting the playoffs every season I think we need 1 or 2 more experience but we have plenty of players with experience in terms of games appearances like Kaminski, Nyambe, Lenihan, Travis, Pickering, Ayala, Wharton, Johnson, Rothwell, Armstrong, Gallagher. I've have mention Mowbray's transfer businesses over the 2 years not fitting a plan at all or the tactics he wants to pĺay. Glad to see you agreeing with me
-
You mention Barnsley having a structure and they do have recruitment policy of signing players 24 and under. When I.mention us having some sort of similar policy you were against.. change your opinion on this? Cos he has too. Last season he didnt perform well enough and should have paid the price with his job last season. He cant have any more excuses this season now like shorter summer period or the pandemic or anything else? Last season we should finish in the top 6 given the backing he has had and last season in terms of wage budget for signings. And in transfers fees in the past 2 seasons before last. This is his squad now Change the record. You just keep going on and on this head of recruitment position.

I answered it with "No Idea". If all honestly Its boring and adds nothing to the messageboard apart from posting count
-
I answered this yesterday why keep repeating time after time. If you that's bothered contact the club or one of the local journalists or Nicko but respectful stop asking me now

Unacceptable that we hav launch the new home kit yesterday or today. More excusee -
Havent we been saying this years and other Roves who met the owners have told the same Keep Armstrong and sign a couple of quality players we should be looking at Playoffs. Look Barnsley as Example of it's not need millions of pounds but a proper football infrastructure and proper football management. Mowbray is talking BS there. Its takes good management, signings players that fit into his tactical approach, take opportunity to get into the top 6..
-
Harwood-Bellis will be replace by Wharton and Ayala. Elliott will need replacing but I confident that's players like JRC and Dolan can fill some of the void plus we still need a wide signing for me. Replacing Armstrong will be tough but they are players who I feel can replace him and score goals. I've suggested in the past Who I would target. If you have no optimism for next season what's the point in getting a season ticket and attend games? Been over recruitment several times with yourself so I dont feel the need to do so again. Of course there is otherwise what the point in a season getting another 25 million pounds in debt if we aren't going to promotion?

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Thanks for the reply Isn't Maglorie going on loan to Morecambe and don't forget how injury prone Ayala is? No one is getting aggressive at all so please don't suggest it. Its a message board and nothing to get mad about. I was talking about the season when we were allow inside the stadium to watch games live. I wouldn't re-sign Chapman for the coming season -
We get close at times but we don't seem able to when we get close to take that next final step and push for the top 6 spot But now all have left the club and we move on now. Thats should be aim for Mowbray this season. No excuses. We have been in the championship now for 3 years and top 6 place should be the aim this season
-
I think Mowbray and Rovers have to be looking to get into the playoffs this season. Mowbray has to find a way to play and to the squad strengths this season. Of Course we would all like a new manager in place and for him to be putting his own stamp on the squad and making his own signings. We got rid of the deadwood of the squad like Bennett, Downing, Mulgrew, Evans and Bell surely thats the right decision?
