  1. exactly. Plus it highlights that some clubs are struggling to bring players in at the minute to current club demands, players wages demands or agents demand. the Market will drop in terms of prices now for a few weeks before going back up like normal transfer windows. Norwich asking price for Lewis have drop by 4 or 5 million from the start of window according to media reports allowing Newcastle able to buy him.
  2. Swap Brereton to the right and Rankin Costello to the left and that front 3 is one that should start.
  3. Thats is less than 4 per team on average Bournemouth and Preston have made no signings so far Barnsley, Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough have made just 1 signing Brentford, Bristol City, Cardiff, Huddersfield, Reading, Watford have made 2 signings Stoke have made 3 signings Derby, Luton, Millwall has made 4 signings QPR, Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea have made 5 signings Birmingham, Forest, Rotherham, Wycombe has make 6 signings Coventry has made 8 signings Norwich has made 11 signings All info from here. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/transfers/wettbewerb/GB2
  4. Newcastle bid for Cullum Wilson has been accepted by Bournemouth reported by several different media sources this morning So he's is on his way.
  5. Norwich or Forest to win the league for me Wycombe, Rotherham and Coventry to go down. Did you still think Derby can finish even tho they are selling 2 of their best players in Boyle and Lowe to Sheffield United?
  6. Bournemouth are bringing in Keeper Jordan Archer. Looks like their striker Wilson is off to Newcastle according to Media reports
  7. well firstly thankyou. I'm not negative about our squad at all. We have squad of talent players and some exciting young players who I want to see more of in the 1st team going forward. Yes we need 4 signings but people going on Bournemouth team like their world beaters, they aren't. They have just signed keeper Archer and he played today but the reality is that their best player Wilson is leaving, King wants a move. Plus we have no idea how they will do under Tindall or his tactics going forward. I don't fear their team at all.
  8. who knows? Bournemouth could lose Wilson and King this week. Wilson on his to Newcastle. Already agreed terms according to media so thats deal is almost done. King wont want to be in the championship. Plus we have no idea how they will perform under Tindall in his 1st team. Their squad isn't strong as you think it is. Murray's legs have gone. He be similar to Graham this season.
  9. Thats why you play Buckley in that role if Holtby is injured
  10. Bournemouth set to lose Wilson to Villa or Newcastle, King will move on shortly, Brooks will go. Loss Ramsdale to Sheffield United. Lerma, Billing and Rico might go. Both teams squad will have change alot by time the window ends.
  11. wonder if Bond will come here number 2 after Button signed for WBA today
  12. cos he might want to play and regain his place in the Scotland squad Plus other teams yet to make signings like Bournemouth and Watford. Majority of Championship clubs won't have all the signings they want before the 1st game just like most seasons which you overlook every time when we get into this debate. This isn't like playing Football manager. You have seen managers in Championship says they are looking for signings but its tough market at the minute and some agents and players are asking way too much and being unrealistic. Was Warnock wrong?
  13. He been away from the past week, couldn't attend today game and no post interview with Mowbray after today's game so would he really know? why? A number of managers are struggling to get the players they want like us with defenders, Preston, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham with strikers, Middlesbrough with different positions.
  14. Mulgrew has been told he can leave and he wont play for us again I would any keeper coming in as wanting to become number 1 and fight Kamilski for the number 1 jersey I have watched him developed and play over the last 4 years and the talent is there so now is play him regular and use him. Not block him by signing another winger. I feel that the front 3 of Brereton is right, Armstrong centre and Rankin Costello left is the way to go in the first game. on Dack, He might never be the same player or might take longer to get match fit then you think. He might be gone as soon as he is fit who knows. I think he is the player that we have a 10 million bid for. Artibro has told us we have a 10 million bid in for a player. but not named the player.
  15. no you aren't sure he can establish himself as a regular in our side. Whilst some of us are sure he can establish him as a regular in our side after seeing his development over the years similar to Lewis Travis
  16. would you want Fisher to be number 2 keeper and no game time or actually loan him him and get properly game time whilst bringing in experience keeper on low wages?
  17. played 17 games and total of 928 mins. Since moving to Bristol City he played 44 games and total of 1,709 mins. So he got more game time at Rovers then his current club. Far too much of Show pony
  18. Leicester season starts next Sunday against WBA.
  19. His performances wasn't good enough for us. Done much since leaving us? He is similar to Izzy Brown who is 23 and still being loaned out from Chelsea
  20. He needs proper 1st team regular football? you agree with this? Agreed 100%
  21. It could be the case he wants to move on and won't sign a contract or that his demands are above what the club wants to offer him also. Rovers shouldn't be leaving contracts to the last 12 months before renewing them when their key players and players we want to develop here.
  22. We still need a back up keeper and Rob Elliot would be ideal given his experience and age. We still need a number 1 left back cos Bell is fine as back up but I don't want him as 1st choice. We still need a first choice centre back and possible a back up. Carter Vickers would be ideal as first choice centre back. Philips from Liverpool is another linked but he has been linked to other clubs also so he seems to want out Liverpool and playing football regular and hopefully Permanent for his own career going forward. Lindsay still available so I would be no surprise if they come in. I see Gallagher has back up for Armstrong as the main striker in the 3 front forward line. Also Brereton is suited to playing on the right of a 3 man forward line. With Rankin Costello and Rothwell fighting for the left side spot yet. Then Dolan and Chapman vying for the back up spot. So we do seem very well stock there. No surprise we are looking for a right back considering Nyambe contract situation and to provide competition for that spot. Plus we need a defenders and back up keeper in before we start thinking of other positions.
  23. Its was good work out for the players and we seems very settled in the tactics and formation going forward now. Maglorie and Williams did well today. Rankin Costello was very good. Nyambe pushing forward and causing problems which he needs more off and keep doing it. Fisher needs a loan and play regular first team football otherwise he will end up being another Jake Kean
  24. Great corner by Davenport. Good flick from Williams. Get in
  25. Why didnt you shoot Travis!!!
